He continued moving past her, out of range, as the cloak faded, and Xyxer suddenly regained control. And with nothing but a shrug, Xyxer was gone. Aryll’s puppet simply stood there, dumbstruck. Was this a test? Was he seriously toying with her as he did her brother? She was so confused and conflicted that she decided it best not to pursue this further, waiting instead for their return home to see where this led.
