A Fateful Encounter
Mon Jan 01, 2018 10:23 pm
It had been some time since Alice had taken any real time for herself. She had gone through a lot lately. Now she had a young protege under her care and the organization that she was a part of was steadily growing in power and numbers. Between trying to find a suitable hideout and completing contracts to fund their operations, there has been scarce opportunity for her to really do anything for herself. But not today.
Today she was relaxing on a low hanging branch in a tree on the outskirts of the black market reading an interesting book she'd recently found. It was a brief history of weapons and the techniques with which to use them. There was a true art to it, in her opinion, that she just couldn't get over. Of course being versed in the ways of varied weapons herself it was no wonder that she couldn't seem to tear herself away from it. In fact, her own weapon, Royal's Edge, was cradled snugly in its sheathe between her back and the tree.
With the heat of the noon day sun on her face and bundled in her warm cloak nuzzled up against the trunk of the tree, Alice couldn't find a better way to start off her day.

As Q was asleep in the top of a tree he heard something or someone climbing up. He ignored for a while till he looked down and saw a blade. Quietly he climbed down and then hung down from a somewhat high branch where his head would be and he eye height. “Hello, whatcha reading.” This dynamic entrance of sorts was meant to case a slight laugh for Q. Not wanting to break the tree Q would jump down and Say “I’m Q by the way sorry for the strange entry, life has just been quite boring lately.”
Then he took note of the sword the girl possessed, it was quite nice by the look of it. But all he could see was the scabbard and that wasn’t what you should judge a blade by. It’s sheaf just like a person shouldn’t be judged based on your first encounter or outward appearance. But Q did take a few mental notes about her. She’d looked similar to Q in stature but one distinct difference was her eye patch. It covered one of her eyes and Q had no clue what was behind door number 3.

And just like that her peaceful morning became not so peaceful after all. She had noticed something in the branches above her earlier, but she didn't sense any large chakra signatures so she figured it was just an animal or something, definitely not a threat, so she didn't bother looking into it. That, apparently, was a mistake.
A young boy's head suddenly dropped down from above, still attached to it's body of course, so quickly that Alice's body had moved purely on instinct. Her right hand, which had been resting on the pommel of Royal's Edge, moved so fast that the boy would only see a blur of movement on front of his eyes. At first it was a straight chop aimed at the boy's neck, but she quickly realized he wasn't a threat and was just trying to say hello and so without losing any momentum she just brushed her fingertips across his forehead before returning her hand to her elegant weapon. A nearly-microscopic dot appeared for an instant where her fingers had touched the boy's forehead before disappearing. Insurance, for just-in-case purposes.
Of course it was only the lightest of touches and it happened so fast the boy probably wouldn't have even noticed and continued to flip down onto the ground below, introducing himself kindly after he landed. "Boring or not," Alice would say in an obviously annoyed tone, "you shouldn't sneak up on people like that. You'll get yourself killed." It was true. This was the Black Market after all; the one place where rogues, criminals, wanderers, and every sort of unsavory character in between could be out in the open. Most of the occupants were not to be trifled with, something that this kid either hadn't learned yet or was too stupid to understand. She figured she would find out which of those it was soon enough, though she had a hunch.
"It's an illustrative book on various types of weapons and the most suitable way to wield them," she finally answered, rolling her eyes at the happy-go-lucky expression on Q's face. "What is it you want, kid?" The question wasn't altogether unkind, but it did give the notion that Alice didn't exactly wish to be bothered.

As the boy swung down the girl brushed him with her fingernails. It supprised Q but he figured it was better than the slap or punch he was expecting. After Q spoke she said Boring or not. This didn’t make much sense to Q until She continued speaking. She told Q that he might loose his life. “ Sorry I’ll be more careful next time. Just kidding there won’t be a next time.”
“That book sounds quite interesting, I don’t like wepons as much but I love reading.” Then she asked him a question that seemed to tell him to F off. “Umm I mean you came into my tree. Umm I have to train today and that’s it.”

Her peaceful day was definitely, definitely no longer peaceful. This kid was starting to annoy her. Luckily, she knew just how to solve that problem.
"You know what, Q?" she said, grabbing her things and moving behind the annoyance as fast as she could. "I know just the sort of training for you to do today," she said with a smile as she placed her left hand on the kid's left shoulder. Before he could even answer they had disappeared in a flash of crimson light, reappearing far off near the village of Hoshigakure.
Upon reappearing, she would remove her hand and step backward as quickly as she could, brandishing Royal's Edge in her right hand. "Try to find your way back to me," she chided, a swirling crimson portal opening as she did so with a single slash of her blade. Stepping backward into the portal, Alice vanished back to the Black Market where she had left her protege earlier that morning. The portal closed behind her, not allowing the boy to follow.
"Well," she began seeing Brooke a few meters away, "at least I can go back to reading in peace now."

Q was standing there and the girl told him that she has a special training for the boy. He was quite excited as did as he started to say what. He felt a hand on his shoulder. What was she doing, then Q saw a desert area appear in front of him. What was happening
She told him to find his way home but why what was going on. Then he turned around to see the girl. But she was gone completely nothing nowhere just gone. So Q looked around he saw a city in the distance so he started to trudge towards the town.
