A Prisoner's Fate (IO)

A bright flash of light would appear within the prison of Hoshigakure no Sato before two individuals could be made out to coalesce from this light. One would be Valen Akari, Jonin of the village and in charge of a group of shinobi aligned with the village charged with hunting and exterminating missing ninja as they saw fit to keep the village safe and secure from any and all threats. He would be clad in his usual  attire with the black combat boots, shinobi pants and simple black shirt that was all covered by a large crimson cloak. He hand would be leading toward the next person to appear out of the light. One Ciel Pico Duchamp, of course Valen wouldn’t know him as such, only knowing him by the middle of those three names. To which the prisoner would have told them was still a false name. The two would appear within the prison of the village one within a cell and one not. Of course the locations of the two individuals would be obvious. Pico would be standing within a locked prison cell, and Valen’s hand would be through the opening in the horizontal cell bars. Allowing his hand to be safely retracted from Pico’s shoulder. “Do not mold chakra, my sensory will be active and I’ll be right here watching you the entire time.” He would order before drawing his sword out an inch and pricking his thumb on it and holding the sign of confrontation. Instantly Natsumi would appear within ten meters. Where you might ask? Wrapped casually around Pico’s neck and torso of course. The snake would act as a ‘just in case’ scenario should the transformer try something. “Natsumi make sure he doesn’t leave this cell. I’ll be right here but he’s admitted to being a spy and they’re tricky bastards” He would say to the two meter long black and rainbow coloured snake. “Yes Valen” She would say before simply coiling around him, intent to constrict him if necessary. 

It was easier this way, as it made sure Valen couldn’t get distracted and give the prisoner time to use one of his transformations to appear as someone else, anyone else. The Akari didn’t know how quickly the prisoner could perform that transformation and he didn’t want to risk it. He looked around carefully, making sure there was nothing outside of the cell he could substitute with and nodding in satisfaction before turning toward a nearby guard, who was still surprised to see the two appear, and speaking. “Valen Akari, Jonin, here on orders from Kyousuke-Sama to hold the prisoner until he arrives.” He would state, prompting the guard to nod respectfully. Valen would continue, as there was a minor issue that needed to be resolved at this point. “Could you please get a change of  baggy clothes for him? I don’t really care if he goes without or not but we might have a lady present. Make sure they’re baggy, I don’t want Natsumi to have to move off of him while he changes.” He would state, prompting the male guard to nod and go to obtain a set of clothes for Pico. 

Valen would wordlessly sit across the cell, his golden eyes watching the man carefully to make sure he did nothing out of the ordinary. His chakra sensory would be active as he watched the man for any signs of trying to escape before the guard arrived and wordlessly passed the requested clothing through the bars, which took a minute, but Valen wasn’t taking chances. “Kyousuke-Sama will be here soon, possibly with Lady Namikaze. I expect them to receive the respect their ranks deserves.” He would state to the guard would nod his head in understanding and moving to spread the news so the two could be greeted properly as Valen sat and watched Ciel like a hawk. The starting might get a little uncomfortable for the prisoner but the sword wielding jonin simply didn’t care. “By all means change, but no chakra, and Natsumi will not be moving through this. Should you attempt to do anything other than sit there and wait I will have her break your neck.” He would state casually as he watched the man from the other side of the cell.

Ciel was teleported again. Annoying he thought. But oh well, he was free, and he fell back to the ground. Fell like a plank, laid out on his back, arms behind his neck. The snake wouldn't be around his neck when summoned, since there was no room to be around his neck. Instead (following approved by Valen) it would be just generally across him, covering most of his body. (Still think this is bullshit and needs nerfing, otherwise butterflies are by far the most OP summon). When clothes arrive, he would don the pants without standing up, instead just lifting his legs and sliding them over. The shirt, however, he would not put on. He wasn't exactly the best looking dude, but putting a shirt on over a snake would be annoying.

Ciel would fall asleep waiting for the doped up leader, unless something else came up.

He'd wake up aorund when Kyousuke showed up. He'd glance to Kyousuke with one eye open, then close them back up. Hikari wasn't there, so what did it matter?

Valen would give a slight bow to Kyousuke and the warden as they arrived, Natsumi watching with interest as this was the first time she was seeing the village leader. “Natsumi, this is Kyousuke, Kyousuke the snake you see laying on the prisoner is a snake from Ryuchi Cave, Denkiteki-Sama allowed me to sign the contract awhile back. She’s usually hidden in my clothing, wrapping herself around my arms and neck to surprise opponents who get too close. I summoned her to make sure he didn’t try anything cute.” He would explain as the man stopped at the cell. “A shame she won’t get to see her friend for what he truly is then.” He would say with a small sigh and barely withheld rage. He would quash it immediately though, knowing full well that if the man even survived today then he would be given free reign to hunt him down. He’d tell the rest of the team, this one was his. 

At that point however Valen would go silent. He wouldn’t order the prisoner to stand or anything when his own boss was here. Hell, for all the swordsman knew he could easily have something else planned for the man. So it would be within his best interest to remain silent until told to do otherwise. 

Natsumi however would turn her head, making sure the majority of her body was on the prisoner, making sure she could follow him if he did something to somehow slink into the stone floor. There were multiple kinds of ninjutsu in the world and no one could reasonably say they knew them all. The black and rainbow coloured snake would nod her head in greeting to the large man, as she would have a difficult time doing a proper snake bow from the position she was in. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Kyousuke-San” She would say in greeting. Using a more casual form of address as he wasn’t her boss. She was there to help her summoner, and she would listen to her summoner. Such as the bond between them that the contract signified.

Ciel would go along for the ride, grabbing what was his, doing what he was told, and offering minimal conversation.
