Genin Tournament: Mori-jin vs. Akihisa Grim

The day had been set as the male sat on the bottom of the stairs on his side at least wrapping his hands with bandages for the up and coming fight. He signed up for this as a good way to test his skill and so going through with it was normal. He kept his abilities and tactics away from the village save for a few people who knew about his unique condition but at least now he had a good reason to use them. Taking off his cloak he would fold it neatly sitting it on the first step before dusting off his orange and black fur like jacket and smiling," Time to have some fun Yeoui," the words uttered as he began to step up the stairs he took out a single kunai and explosive tag, wrapping it around the handle in a careful yet intricate way before stuffing it back into the pouch located on his back just under his jacket. On his right hip sat one of his favored swords, Seoufang and on his back his bo staff Yeoui.

The male had been confident but not too much so that it would cloud his judgement of what was to come. As he approached the final step the first to come out was his Bo staff resting within the grip of his right hand, the sun slowly showing his features until he had been out for the village to see. Hair blazing as red as a fire adorned his head and his eyes had an unique shape to their pupils, slanted and sharp like crosses as he looked around the arena and took it in. Not too big at least in his mind and it had water which meant he could probably do something crazy if need be. Stepping into the arena until he was directly 30 meters from the center of it, he face the area in which his opponent came in and waited. Whenever they had arrived he would then listen to the rules which were...simplistic but easy. His eyes never left his opponent who he would be looking at for any indication of movement and once the rules were done he would wait for the fight to begin.

Akihisa had been having the time of his life when he noticed it was time for the genin tournament. So he proceeded up the stairs. The terrain Was nice and it had some nice water such a shame he was not a water user but he could use this to his advantage. Akihisa arrived at the grounds and listens to the hogokage speak of the rules 1. No killing and that was it. This was good for akihisa for he did not want to die to a fellow hoshi ninja it would leave a bad taste in his mouth. he would then size up his opponent and guess his strengths. While seeing if he had any weapons.  But before doing this akihisa would take his sword in his right hand and a smoke bomb in the other he would drop the bomb once the match started. And then he would use clay doll jutsu and summon 4 dolls summon Beelzebub. He would then attach his strings. (10 of them). He would have 2 of the dolls rush at his enemy and his puppet and two dolls protecting him.

So the male had been armed. Following his hands, Mo-ri would take the staff off of his back and continue to look at the male who had made it to the center of the stage. For some reason he imagined his opponent to at least distance himself a bit but in the end it was a difference in mind that made this easier. Once the fight had begun and as the male dropped the smoke bomb he was on the move, quickly closing the distance between the two before reaching a sweet distance of ten meters from where he had started originally. Though he could not see his opponent do to the smoke that did not matter as he slid to a stop once he had gotten to a position of fifteen meters putting him fifteen meters from Grim. At that point he was ready to enact his plan even though he openly saw the puppets coming from him.


His hands quickly gripped the bottom of the staff as it was raised above the males head and with a quick downward swing the staff was brought down onto the stage itself? Why? The male had mentally commanded his staff to grow to its maximum length of fifteen meters while expanding 2 meters in diameter. The combination cause it to become noticeably thicker and longer but by then it was too late. His opponent unless they had stopped his movements by then would feel the arena shake below him before the ground itself gave way pulling him down with it. A crushing blow to the stage demonstrated by strength alone would plummet him, the puppets and the half of the arena down with him while Mo-ri safely and quickly made the ram hand seal before body flickering safely back 25 meters so that would put him safely back 40 meters. In the meantime at least the smoke would have been gone and all the male would have needed was assistance getting back up to the ground floor while Mo-ri waited.


All movements of course happened at their full speed.

The male watched as the arena swarmed and engulfed the other genin dropping him to the bottom and probably ringing him out. Hopefully someone would have saved him since Mo-ri couldn't fly though he could dispel of the....well fuck it. Using his staff he would begin to knock some of the debris out of the way so that Grim wasn't being knocked to and fro by the arena. After that it would be up to the judges to do the rest.

Grim tumbled into the stadium being crushed by rubble he had his hand out and used his puppet to slowly take the rubble off of him.  But he had broke both his legs.  Knowing he could not win he yelled "Procter I forfeit". And had the ninja pick him up from the rubble and to the hospital.

Jumping into the arena Kyousuke would flood Grim's body with healing chakra. After some time the bones would be mended and the boy's body would be returned to normal. "Even in loss there is a lesson. Use the lesson you have learned here today and apply it in the future. Hold your head high as you were brave enough to enter the arena while others chose to stay home." The man would then beckon for a medic to take the boy from the arena as he could walk there would be no need for him to be carried.

"Mori-jin is the victor and will be moving on." At that the man would walk back up to his post and reclaim his seat. "Congratulations!"
