Dinner For Two [Private, No Kill, Hayate]

“Good luck on your exams, although I doubt you’ll need it.”, she finished with a smile, ducking back under the curtain and into the street. She began heading down the crowded sidewalk towards the island to the south, getting about a half a block away before turning back to look for Hayate. Should he still be around, she’d wave to him as a final goodbye before turning back onto her path.

She still had a few things left to do tonight. She had to buy a few things for the house, get some reading done, and possibly find something electronic that was broken. There had to be something at her place that the previous tenant had broken, being the slob that he was. Then she’d have an excuse to visit Hayate’s father’s shop. And he’d be graduating in a week, so she’d need to find some small kind of gift for him. She’d win him over. She always did.

Hayate watched her go.  He didn't know why he waited so long outside of the shop, but he was kind of glad he did when he caught her turning around to look back, and then waving.  He raised his hand in a small wave back.

Then he turned, with a scuffling kick to the dirt on the street, hands in pockets, to head toward the pier.  No fireworks tonight, but even in the thin fabric he was wearing and the cool night breeze, he wanted to head to the docks, to get somewhere a little quieter and stare out at the waves for a bit, to calm down and feel at peace.

well, since i made genin in another thread, but this is set before that, lets not mess with stats or jutsu and go shopping for my initial genin gear. (should i also post these claims in the shop, or on the pages of the items, or is just here fine?)

1680wc total:
1000wc for 1 fuma shuriken
 200wc for 2 basic scroll
 200wc for 2 boxes of Makibishi Spikes
 100wc for 4 rolls of steel wire 
 100wc for 2 smoke bomb
   50wc for 2 rolls of bandage

and we'll throw that last 30 wc to the shopkeep for the spicy udon special with red broth! mmm mmm good
