More Training [Open/2 Max]

Bedivere munched an apple, sitting up in a tree and spying the currently empty training field. He had hoped to find a ninja training partner to match his skills against, as Ninja were a much different breed of opponent then your typical swordsman. They had weird and usually explosive types of magic and could use mana to a much more efficient standard then he could so far. Though in these parts, these things were usually referred to as “chakra” and “jutsu” and he was still getting used to these new words. He still hadn’t been contacted by Pendragon officials, but he was just going to leave it alone for now. Perhaps he needed more training and time? He couldn’t imagine what else they needed from him however. This beautiful city was feeling more and more like home to him and if they kept this up then he was liable to not want to head home when the time came. He shook his head and slipped down from the tree he was in, determined to at least get some practice in before he became more inquisitive about the subject. He had finally gotten more of a handle on his projection ability, though he had only ever really been able to test it on his own, lesser equipment.

The blonde boy smiled and held out his hand, forest green sparks trace along his fingertips as a kunai’s image appeared in his hand, slowly filling in until he had a very real copy of the weapon before him. He flicked it up into the air a few times, testing its weight and balance before flinging it up above him, spearing several leaves before it sailed in an arc until it hit the dirt. After a minute or two the projection vanished, a slight frown on Bedivere’s lips. He would need a method to make his projections stronger if he was to use them seriously in a battle. Though before this he needed ample practice with this move. At his current ability, he could make four projections before needing a short rest. This would be far more useful if he could make the copies more akin to the originals they were based on, but without knowing the reinforcement technique that was going to be beyond him for a bit. For now, he decided he should focus on the basics of combat and sparring which he was going to have to do himself for now. Projecting another kunai, he began doing some basic forms until a sparring partner came along.

Bedivere was a bit stuck in his own head when he was called out to, turning to meet the new visitor to the training grounds. A young boy stood in front of him, just a bit out of the way with bright white hair. He wore a Haven headband much like Bedivere did, notifying the knight that a full ninja stood before him. He knew you could become a ninja young but this boy couldn’t be more then twelve or thirteen. No slouch could earn a headband, and the way the boy was armed denoted him of someone skilled enough to deserve the title of ninja. Bedivere considered this boy could even be stronger then himself. He would give a pleasant smile and a wave back, his hands crossing in front of him loosely. “Hello, and welcome to this very empty training ground. I was just doing some basic training. The names Bedivere, by the way.”
He stated his name to be polite, though he obviously didn’t know this kid. Bedivere stood comfortably, not prepared for combat unless otherwise provoked, but it wasn’t unheard of for sparring to start just by two ninja meeting. He waited on the ivory haired boy to respond regardless.

The younger man didn’t seem like one who was used to polite talk but Bedivere gave him points for at least trying his best. The knight considered how much of the process of his magic he was actually allowed to tell, and decided that the basics weren’t too much to give out. “The technique i’m training is called projection, belonging to my clan the pendragon. It allows me to analyze and instantly reproduce any weapon I have seen. Though mine look like the original the actual weapons have come out a little...less useful then the originals would be.”
Saying that, Bedivere was confident he could speedily make 4 weapons in such quick succession that their durability would hardly matter if his timing was correct, but all the same he needed a way to reinforce his blades for actual combat. Though seeing that boys katana, he subtly analyzed it's properties, style of make and added it to his collection. He shouldn’t need to see the full blade, as the sheath would likely outline it rather perfectly and would give Bedivere the size and shape required to reproduce it. Though he wasn’t sure how close this boy may be to his blade, so the knight chose not to show off by projecting it just yet.
