A Snowy Leaf (Tadashi, IO, NK, Ask to Join)
Mon Jan 14, 2019 12:39 pm
Pain
A feeling that coursed through the young Maiden’s body as she laied awake and alone on her bed in her hotel room. The pain of losing a friend had been the only thing the deputy kage could think about since her arrival at Konoha a few days ago. The Kunochi had only been informed a few hours before she had to depart for the leaf about Kotetsu’s death at the Gokage summit. Due to this, the Saint of the Stars had been given a respite of time to think about that event as she rushed to get ready for her pilgrimage to her mother’s home country. A delightful respite that would forsake her within minutes of the girl entering into her loggings in the conquered country. Hikari always knew that the Hogokage would do anything for his village, but still, to execute one’s own student without even attempting to negotiate? That didn’t sound like the Akari that the Queens Guard knew. What had the other Kage of the other villages been like to make Valen even consider such an act? Hikari understood that of the four great shinobi villages, Hoshigakure was most likely considered the weakest as it hadn’t been around long enough to build up a strong military presence in its country. Due to this, the other villages were probably looking for an excuse to declare war on them in order to claim more land and the village secrets that Hoshigakure’s shinobi protected. Even with the threat of war looming over them, the thought that the Hogokage didn’t think that a discussion was even possible when it came to the life of his own student scared the Throne of Haven. Prehaps some time away from the village was a good thing for the Kunochi? After all, if she had to see Valen at his very moment, the woman had no idea how she would react to the man who had slain her friend, even if it was for the best of the village.
Hikari wanted to continue to hide in her hotel room, but the need for substance in her body beckoned the maiden to leave the inn at which she stayed. In this time, no food had passed into the girl’s stomach, and the only liquid to dry her tongue would come from the water tap in her hotel’s bathroom. For her own survival the Barovian knew she would have to journey to the outside of the safety of her room in search for a substance to fill her starving body.
The Nova Operative would reluctantly grab the small cube of manipulated fabric that was lying on the stand across from her bed. Forcing her chakra into it, fabric would tightly wrap itself around her small figure, taking the form of a clean white dress with black fabric’s woven into it. The Manipulated Fabric would also harden and break a small piece off in order to cover her feet, taking the form of a pair of black high heels that gave another couple of inches to her height. Once this was done, another piece of fabric would break off and wrap itself around the deputy kage’s throat, a black choker would be the form that the fabric would take, in the center of it blazed a white star, the symbol of Hoshigakure. With her body prepared, the girl would make her way into the bathroom to clean off her face before applying her makeup. A dark Mascara, light blush and lipstick would be her tools in this endeavor, trying to make this broken mess of a human being look like a respectable woman. Once she was done with that, the woman would finally work on her long blonde hair, she would style it into her normal formal hair style with side-swept bangs and a double braid going across her crown and the rest twisted and pinned up in a makeshift ponytail of sorts that would fall about a third of the way down her back. Putting on perfume and deodorant, the deputy kage would make her way out of the door and head out into the streets of Konoha.
A light snow would cover the world in a soft blanket of snow on this early morning. The dawn had only just started to show itself, allowing rays of light to sparkle off the frozen water particles that covered the ground. Wrapping her arms around herself in an attempt to warm herself up, the maiden cursed the fact that she failed to bring a warm jacket from haven on her pilgrimage. The thought of manipulating the fabric around her to bulk up into something warmer, but Hikari discarded the idea after some time debating it. Even if she had enough fabric to cover herself that way (Which the woman doubted.) she couldn’t change in her outfit like that in public without giving away the fabric’s properties to the shinobi world. Left with little choice, the girl would take a look around to see if there was someone around that could possibly help her with finding a place that would welcome customers this early into the day.

Monochromatic lucent light broke through the sky, allowing itself to reflect upon the shimmering dew, creating an Arc-En-Ciel effect on the pelts of melted ice, almost as if this place was a living cathedral. Sun began to break through the methodical Columbus clouds as if the sun was a fire, burning through a land of darkness. East Downtown Konoha was hectic, and chock full of citizens. Red and Green fluorescent, lucent lights, tangled and thrown on well-formed houses. Hymns, Psalms, happy and carols vociferated around Konoha, the spectacle of kids throwing crystal ice balls at each other, concessions stands, merchandising ginger baked cookies, accompanied by a delicacy of milk, mix with liquid chocolate. A great time for tourism, selling, and to relax, this month was a day to revel in.
A crimson-haired Genin, known as the Tracer of Konoha, walked innocuously through the streets, as a result to the cold weather, ironic from the golden sun, Tadashi wore a black-buttoned up coat with a hoodie drooping down from the back of his coat. Concealed by the coat, he would wear a blue t-shirt with the red Konoha emblem, smack dab in the middle of the shirt, his iconic jacket covering the shirt, but is covered by the coat. He wore his signature fingerless, black gloves, along with a red scarf, tied around his neck, covering his mouth, and the rest of the long scarf glided like a kite on Tadashi's left. Instead of the tracer's signature unkempt and disheveled crimson hair, it would be neater. He just finished his haircut, still shocked at his changes. It was neater, had more bangs that covered his hairline, and it was "suave", as the barber said to him, that it would "attract all of the girls", Tadashi never understood the man's obsession to allure the opposite gender. The crimson-haired Genin would use his free left hand to move one of the left bangs of his newly, smooth cut hair from his amber eyes.
His right hand would be occupied with carrying grocery bags consisting of, gingerbread cookies, lanterns, candy canes, hot chocolate powder, and additional miscellaneous objects, held firmly. Normally, he would be walking to his house, fulfilling his duty; upon walking towards his house, a strand of blonde hair was about to pass by the corner of his eye, only for Tadashi to stop at the right moment, peripheral vision was truly a godsend. He turned towards that blonde strand, due to the momentum, the scarf would droop down on his front. It was a woman who seemed to be older than Tadashi. She seemed pretty new to Konoha, due to her outfit, and look, perhaps a foreigner for the holidays? It was the job for shinobi to help the common people, and mostly because of The young Namikaze's moral code. He hesitated a bit before taking a few steps towards the woman contemplating if he should go talk to her, not noting her facial features. He could be a pretty nervous person in general to people. During the motion, a gentle smile would appear on his face, no malice, they were about a few feet away from each other, enough for the tracer to see the older woman. He would pull down his scarf from his mouth, able to fully see his face, and his golden eyes fully.
The crimson haired Genin eyes would widen largely, mouth a little agape at her, he tried to control himself, but it was futile. Her beauty was... Something he would he would have never seen. He couldn't react, his mind was frozen, like a statue, for a few moments... Until he realized, how stupid he looked. A light blush would appear on his face, embarrassed at his previous behavior, most likely seeming weird to the blonde. "Um, um." He would stutter, his brain was in a panic, Tadashi didn't comprehend this emotion. He would try his best to comprehend the situation. "Calm down, Tadashi... Calm down..." Pondering in his thoughts quickly. His eyes would be more focused, but still a little out of town. Where were his manners after all? Acting like a dumb fool. He would bend down towards the sitting blonde as he would outstretch his hand towards her,
"Hello, my name is Tadashi Namikaze, a blessing to meet you. If you may miss, I would like to know your name." The crimson-haired Genin calmly and softly said, waiting for the Miss to accept the handshake.
If everything went accordingly, straightening up, he would curiously give a light gaze towards the woman's body/clothing, she wasn't wearing something that would keep you warm. After all, what could heels and a non-insulating white dress do in frigid temperatures? "Forgot your coat, Miss?" He said in a teasing tone, but no sense of ill will. He would unbutton his coat, revealing the jacket. The coat was very warm with a fur inside that traps heat, it didn't have a trace of Tadashi's smell...well barely. The woman wasn't that much taller than the boy, so it would fare very well since the coat was a little bigger than the boy's upper body. The coat would be held with his left hand, as he outstretched it towards her,
"Please, keep it, I don't want you having hypothermia on the streets. I can assure you, it can be sufficient for today." He would pause, waiting for her response, before continuing, "If I might ask, what are you doing on the streets like this? Don't you have... parents or someone? Or perhaps, did you travel here, if so, where did you come from Miss?"

As the Akari made her way through the cold streets of Konoha, her sense of smell picked up on many delicious foods that made the Nova captain forget about the freezing cold that pressed up against her skin. The scent of gingerbread, hot chocolate and candy canes filled the maiden’s nostrils, causing her to think back to the cold winter days of in haven country when she was a child, when she would spend days with her family baking gingerbread cookies to sell and to share with themselves. Judging by the strength of the glorious smell, Hikari could only guess that many families would be enjoying these cold winter days with themselves.
As the maiden walked down the road, she would suddenly hear a small coming from near her. “Um, um.” The Deputy Kage of Hoshigakure would turn to face the newcomer to see a young boy, couldn’t be much younger than Hikari was, wearing much more appropriate clothes for the weather. He would stare at the young woman for a short amount of time in a way that would force the girl to acknowledge him. Hoshigakure’s Guardian Angel knew the vestments she was wearing was ill-suited for the weather, but was it really something that would make people stare? After a short pause, the lady of light was going to ask if she could help the red-haired ginger, but then the boy spoke up, reaching out his hand as he did.
“Hmmm?” The deputy kage responded responded, she was a little bit shocked to hear about the boy’s last name, but at the same time knew it was a common last name, it didn’t mean to much. “My name is Hikari, I’m just a traveler here for the Chunin selection exams.” As she spoke these words, the woman would move her hand from around her body and take the boys hand, gingerly shaking it before placing it back around her body, trying to keep warm.
The throne of Hoshigakre could sense a larger than average chakra coming from the boy, but not to the point it was that of a higher ranking shinobi, was he perhaps a Genin of the leaf? Perhaps he was taking part of the Chunin selection exams himself?
As the boy pointed out the diplomat’s clothes, the Akari would respond, “Something like that, I didn't realize it was going to be so cold this far to the south of the shinobi world, so I didn't bring one from home.” However, as the boy started to take off his jacket, she would quickly respond with, “Oh…. no, I couldn’t. Please, I will be fine until I can pick one up. I do appreciate the offer though.”
Presuming the redheaded Genin would continue his questions after Hikari denied his coat, the deputy kage would respond, “I was on my way to find a boutique or something similar and to find something to eat. Not necessarily in that order. As I said earlier, I am a traveler from up north, Haven country to be exact.” The Kage would move her hand again up to her throat and pointed at the choker snugly around her neck. Embroidered in it was the Star of Hoshigakure, marking her as a shinobi from the star village.
Normally, the Fuinjutsu expert would ask the boy a little about himself, but the cold was getting to the young blonde. “Actually, would you mind pointing me in the right direction of somewhere that I could buy some clothes for the weather? I'm still new around these parts, and have not had the time to find out where anything would be.”

The young Namikaze was correct, it was indeed a foreigner, a traveler to be exact, for the Chunnin Exams. Perhaps one of the ninjas was related to her or was simply a good friend. It was fun to think about, yet it brought up a lot of questions; it was mainly, why the hell did she not bring a coat? A traveler like her should be prepared for all situations? The crimson haired Genin wouldn't pry on her faults, most likely being an innocent mistake, which he could understand. "Hikari, eh? It's a nice name. I hope you are enjoying the Exams, as it is one of the highlights of Konoha." Tadashi would reply in a serene tone of voice, happy to see that people would come all the way to his village, just to enjoy the Exams. She seemed to be pretty respectful, accepting his handshake in no time, he hoped they would get along well.
Around this moment, Tadashi's eyebrow would twitch in shock, sensing an unusually high amount of chakra residue, emitting consistently around Hikari. No way, this is impossible... This Chakra was approximately unmatched, the only person who can feasibly rival it is Ita-Sensei. Hikari must be similar to of Jounin level or higher. This wasn't some normal traveler, so who the hell is she? On the outside, the Tracer would remain his content expression, yet, inside, a mental crisis was brewing inside of him. Regarding the unpreparedness of Hikari's clothes, the crimson haired Genin would flash a genuine smile at the denial of the source of warmth. He had to respect civilians and travelers, it just wasn't in his heart to mistreat them.
"Sure, whatever you want, Miss Hikari."
As the young woman placed her hand onto his choker, beckoning the boy to look, Tadashi would be less internally bewildered at her strength. It was natural for a shinobi to have this must Chakra casually expelling from them, as it was proof of her diligent training, debunking his previous questions. Listening intently to her request, Tadashi would scan through his thoughts, thinking of a suitable place for Hikari. The young Namikaze didn't want to run errands for two stores, so he needed to find something that brought the two necessities: food and clothing together.
"There is this place...No, it only is a department store. There is also this convent that donates things...but it isn't guaranteed to serve food and other stuff. Dammit, why is it so hard to find one store! Oh, I got it." He finished reflecting in his thoughts, now ready to answer, as he laid out his hand for her to grab, therefore she could get up easily.
"I believe I have found something that will suit your needs, Miss Hikari. Follow me!" If she came in contact with his hand, he would immediately begin to apply upwards pressure, so she could rise up easily. He would lead the way, walking in front of her, asking her a question to not make the travel, uneventful.
"Tell me, Miss Hikari, are you enjoying your stay in Konoha? Also, do you have any relatives that you are close to?" Inquiring peacefully, Tadashi would continue walking.

As the boy would start to explain what was going on with where she could find clothes, the deputy kage would suddenly receive a telepathy message from the ex-girl freind of the first Hogokage, Shina.
'Hikari, where have you been?' She would say over the seal, [i]'We have been trying to get in contact with you for days! There has been development in the Jaws of Grima case that you were on just before you left for Konoha. I need to ask you some further questions. This is is a high priority request straight from the royal family itself.'
The current deputy kage would press he hand up against the side of her neck, where the telepathy seal she had was, as if listening into it. Well so much for food. Hopefully she could just get something delivered to her room. She would turn to the young genin and say. “I'm sorry, actually, I just a request from my village, I need to return to my room to do some more paper work. Where was that place you were talking about? I would like to visit it when I am not swamped with work.”
Assuming the boy would answer her question, the maiden would nod and give a slight curtsy to the boy. “Well, I am sorry that I had to bother you, for the your help is very much appreciated, I will be sure that if I see your Hokage to tell him of the kindess that his shinobi had shown me.”
If there was nothing else from the boy, Hikari would turn and return to her hotel room.
