Mission Name: “Deforestation”
Rank: D
Type: Collection
Character Requirements: N.A.
Mission Location: Village Gates, Kumo
Word Count Requirements: 1000
Repeatable? Yes
Reward: 1000 Ryo
Task: Several large trees have begun growing in the rot forest, disrupting the perfect view of our little zombies and the effectiveness of their defensive capabilities. As such several shinobi are being tasked to go out and handle the issue. Your portion of this mission is to destroy 2 of these tress without disturbing any of the Zombies or destroying them. Bring the trees to the lumbar yard so that it can be properly assembled for fire wood or lumber.
Sometimes the skill of a ninja allows him to advance further in his Shinobi life just by recognition. The task Rayul chose today was recommended to be done with two people, but the skillful Ninja told the Administrator that it wasn't something he and a clone couldn't tackle. He only had to remove 2 large trees from the several that were beginning to grow in the Rot Forest, an area in Kumo that was riddled with zombies used somewhat as a defense mechanism in times of need. He had already devised a plan on how he'd handle the task, but before he would head out towards the forest, he asked if they'd provide him with roughly 2 gallons of water, in which they ere happy to oblige even without knowing the origin of the Ninja's request. Tieing the two jugs of water together and slinging them around his shoulders, he made his way towards the Village Gates and the Rot Forest.
He had never been to the Rot Forest before, in fact, he barely knew such a place existed. Approaching its imaginary borderline, he could begin to hear the faint moans of the dead. Zombies were littered in this area, scattered out among the region covering multiple vicinities as once. They were mindless, seeming as if they were always unaware of what was going on as if their mind was told nothing but to walk in a circle. Flocks followed behind one another, and they moved mindlessly around the trees surrounding them. He walked rather stealth-like once he began to venture deeper into the forest. The mission forbids him of killing any of the creatures, so the best way to avoid confrontation was to remain unseen. They weren't hostile the Zombies did have the capability to know that they served the Cloud, so if Rayul was to be seen it wouldn't be much of a problem as long as they were not provoked in any way. He was there to make a life for them easier since the large trees were growing rapidly and taking up a large amount of space for the huge horde.
Reaching one of the smallest of the large trees, he takes time to analyze the plant, looking at its size as he contemplates how to evoke his plan upon it. Wasting no time, he weaves a seal, and a clone appears beside him. There are a few Zombies around the tree and behind it, and knowing he'd need to use Jutsu to cut the tree, he'd have to move them away to avoid them being hit. "Alright me...", he whispers to his Clone, "I need for you, to run around frantically behind this tree, pulling any zombies you can far away as I use lightning release on the tree!". His clone looks at him with his eyebrow raised. "Uhm, why can't you do it, Mr. Badass?", the clone questioned. "Because you can just POOF away whenever you get far enough, that's why Mr.Smartass.". His clone smacks his teeth but realizes that it is a brilliant plan. The replication of Rayul sighs, and begins screaming frantically while he runs behind the tree and continues on a few meters. Disturbed by the noise, zombies take after the clone, and Rayul waits for the tree to be cleared of all the creeps before he begins his plan.
Once all the zombies behind the tree are cleared, he lines himself up with the tree in front of him, positioning himself in a fashion to where this jutsu would be able to hit two at once. He finds the perfect angle and checking again to make sure that nothing was in his way, a small amount of chakra is returned to his body as his clone poofs away after reaching its maximum distance. He sets the jugs of water down beside him, and as he stands he straightens the Cloud Headband he wears proudly. He weaves only two seals: Ox, followed by a snake. As he lowers his center of gravity as he squats, he extends his palm towards a center section of the tree. Chakra begins swirling from the hand, crackling all around as it builds up power. "LIGHTNING RELEASE: LIGHTNING ARROW!", the Genin commands as the chakra focuses itself into a fine point. Shooting out in an arrow-shaped fashion, the broad tipped jutsu penetrates the bark of the tree as it makes contact, shooting a hole right through it as it begins to burrow through the tree behind it. He planned to hold the jutsu in place, allowing the lightning time to dissipate throughout the tree, slowly igniting it enough to where it begins to burn but not the entire tree. It takes a few seconds for the inside of the tree to ignite, and eventually, it catches ablaze. Releasing the just, he watches it burn, allowing time for the air to take the catch of the fire and spread throughout the fibers of the tree. The giant plant began to make cracking noises, symbolizing that it was ready to fall. The ninja picks up a gallon of water from the ground, unscrews the top, and pours it over the small fire, extinguishing it before it can cause any further damage. He picks up the other gallon of water and walks around to the other tree, performing the same action. He summons forth another clone after weaving the appropriate seals, and together they push on the now weakened tree above the incision. With the combined effort, they push the tree over, causing it to hit the ground with great force. They'd repeat this on the other tree, and before them lied the 2 trees that were required to complete the mission. It was rather difficult for them to push the massive trees over, but now they'd have to find a way to get them back to the village. The clone sits on the tree, resting, and as Rayul tells him that they'd end up having to roll the trees back to the village, it argues with him. "Why couldn't you just get your friends to come to help us you're making it harder on yourself than it has to be!", the clone yells. Rayul chuckles, "Isn't that the plan overall? If everything came easy we wouldn't make any progress in our skills. You should know that, since you are me, idiot." The clone grows silent as he understands that his Master is right: All the hardship that Rayul has endured for his 20 years of life is what has brought him to the place he is in life as of now. He wouldn't have gotten this strong if everything came easy. The clone hops up with energy, being motivated by the pep talk given to him, and together they position themselves along the tree, placing their hands upon it as they begin to roll it back towards the village. It took them about an hour to roll just one, but once they reached the village gates a few guards offered to call in back up to take it inside for them as they went back to retrieve the other one. They make it back to the Rot Forest, and pushing the last of their assignment back towards the village watch as zombies roam around the now cleared area, sure that they are thankful for the job the ninja provided to their home.
They make it back one again to the village gates, leaving the tree in the care of the guards who offered to finish the legwork of the mission for them. Rayul bumps fists with his clone as it disperses, and heads back to headquarters to relay the completion of his task. The administrator thanks the proud shinobi on yet another job well done, telling him that he serves his country in a way that resembles past Raikage, with honor and swiftness, and he bows at the compliment. He is given his pay, along with a cookie, and has his picture taken with the Head of Missions so that she can forever remember the ninja who is working hard on becoming the man of his future. Rayul returns home to his aunt with two bowls of ramen he gathered on the way back, sitting down to the table with her as they both enjoy the meal purchased with the recent wages he received. Sleep well, Ninja of the Cloud.

So... I have a question.
You cannot learn jutsu above C rank in specialties you do not actually have, yet on your stat page you have 2 a rank ninjutsu. Your specialty says genjutsu.
Did you change your specialty recently, or did you not realize...? Either way, I'm going to have to ask you for clarification on this.

I was under the assumption that you could not use the jutsu, but able to still learn it? Might be a misinterpretation on my end. Either way,I'm fine with correcting it.

That's only if you don't have the appropriate stats, or if you learn a jutsu and switch to another specialty later. Mind correcting that for me?
