Repair the Bridge <-------Mission Being Completed
Keita quickly stretched and leaped from his bed, quickly getting read for his bigger mission that he had accepted to do today. He decided yesterday that he was going to do this bridghe repair mission today. He knew that he was going to be repairing a bridge, and since he had never really worked with his hands before, hge was really excited to do this mission, as it was learning something new that he had never done before. Keita was greatly interested in learning about things, especially things that were interesting, that others might call normal. He thought about the fine carpentry work on the end table in his living room, and wondered what sort of intricate process happened in the carpenter's shop to make such beautiful artistry. He might have been extrapolating the process of carpentry to the relatively simple task of repairing some broken boards or some stone work on a bridge, but it was still fun to imagine the process. Keita hurriedly made his breakfast, which was a simple meal of steam pork buns and some eggs, along with some cucumber tea that he brewed during the steaming process. It was quite refreshing and filling, so it was a fantastic breakfast., He headed to the bridge, making sure that he was at least fifteen minutes earlier than he needed to be, and he was waiting there for five minutes before the person in charge of them during this repair operation showed up. He applauded Keita for being punctual and on time, and brought Keita over to the are that was in disrepair. There were already a couple of people there working on their parts, and Keita wondered why he was sent there later, and he was told that they were the carpenters that were specifically there to make sure that the important parts were taken care of. Keita was quickly told that he needed to go over to the south west corner of this area of the bridge to start his repairs, and he would be in charge opf placing some fine mesh over the stone, so that more concrete and other materials were poured over that to actually fix the bridge. After that had dried some, they would then need to take some rough sand paper, and sand it down so that the bridge looked nice and smooth. When he was not doing those tasks, he would simply need to be hauling materials. So, Keita quickly got to work, as he was adept at following directions. He decided that he would watch one of the carpenters do it first, and then he knew exactly what to do. He then started weaving the wire mesh over a small opening, and then using the tools provided, a pair of wire cutters, to cut the excess mesh before using a small torch of flame to essentially melt the small wires to the other wires that were already there under the structure. He did this pretty efficiently in between hauling materials, and soon his work was done.

Nero had rose bright and early this morning after having taken a mission for repairing a bridge in Kirigakure. He was well acquainted with the people who would be doing work today since they'd done some carpentry work on his house prior to the request. Without his family around to maintain the house he found it in need of repair at times and was struggling to do it all on his own. Noticing his struggle they were kind enough to teach him some tricks of the trade. They had personally let him know about the request when they posted it, hoping to have one more knowledgeable person for the task. He whistled lightly as he followed the path towards the bridge, noticing the carpenters already starting to gather. He waved to them from afar and they called him over with delight, happy to see that he'd accepted the request.
Knowing there'd be some ninja coming to assist them they prepared spare tools in advance and Nero was thankful for their consideration. He began working on the pillars that were used to create the base of the bridge and also act as stabilizers for the overall frame. They were rotting and cracked at some point and in desperate need of replacing. With the help of some of the ninja, they'd requested for help they created temporary earth pillars to hold up the bridge while they removed the broken parts. It was a quick fix that consisted of them removing the old ones while ninjas proficient in water jutsu diverted the water around them.
The bare land was exposed as the flow of water split around them, raising the water level by a bit on either side of them. So long as the ninja maintained the flow of their chakra though they'd be just fine. Nero yanked the rotting pillar out and tossed it to the side where it was caught by one of the other carpenters who was quite strong for his size. They in return tossed down the new pillar that they'd use to replace it and they forcefully drove it into the ground. From the top of the bridge, some of the other carpenters hammered it down in further before they poured a cement-like compound into the ground around the pillar. Nero was tasked with using his fire jutsu to quickly solidify the mixture so they could leave from the site and resume the flow of water around them. The ninja's around him nimbly jumped up to the top of the bridge, and Nero was quick to follow. The carpenters were carried up along with them and they reduced the flow of charka slowly so that the water didn't immediately rush back in all at once.
With that said and done they stabilized the pillar to the bridge and continued on their way. At this point, Nero noticed the man he'd worked with before busy working on some of the wire mesh to repatch the 'road' that was the bridge's surface. He made a mental note of what he looked like, expecting to see him again considering how frequently they'd seen one another at this point. He continued on with his work, helping out with the meshwork as well when needed and when he finished bid everyone else goodbye.
