The Snow Steps Up {Closed Missions}
Tue Feb 04, 2020 3:50 am
Mission
What do you know. Complaints of sand littering amongst Kirigakure's paths and stores piled just enough for the mission board to finally post a parchment. Requesting someone to quickly deal with the annoyance as soon as possible. It wasn't that high of a mission, but Ookmai needs to remember she is still a genin. These types of missions are literally made for a ninja of her rank. The white haired genin collected the mission parchment and read over the listed instructions. Stated below would be the locations in which she was to spot clean. Doing whatever methods in her favor, just as long as the sand was discarded and out of the way. Of course a place like this surrounded by a sea and sandy beaches felt harassed by it's grainy environment. No worries, it would require little to no effort for this shinobi to get this mission completed. She was fortunate enough to be acquired a wooden broom to borrow for her mission's adjective. She took the broom within her possession before taking off to her first destination under distress.
Her first objected that was scripted in the black ink was to clear away pathways that traveled through the village outside. Of course this would indicate alot of walking and sweeping, but Ookami wasn't the type to complain. She started near the beach of the village with the broom held delicately within her fingertips. Focusing her attention at the objective before her. There was definitely alot of sand blanketing the pathway, and no wonder it was since it was literally near the beach itself. Ookami positioned herself in front of the sand that littered before her. She looked as if she was taking on a huge objective as her icy hues glared at the path down below her feet. Her hands began to move the broom handle from side to side. Brushing it's stiff bristles against the path and pushing the sand to the side. She continued to sweep the sea grains off the pathways and out of the way. No doubt it wont take long for the pathways to collect this litter once again after she is done, but at least it would give a temporary improvement. It didn't take long for the sweeping movement to become very repetitive. Brushing the broom back and forth, to and from. Making her way up the walkways of the village. Most of the civilians was kind enough to walk around her as she continued her duty. It took a little less time than she had expected to clean up the pathways.
The white haired kunoichi felt a little pride bubbling within her as she marched to her next destination. She read that the mizukage's frontdoor of his building was obstructed with plenty of sand. Her posture was straight forward as she made her way to what she believed was the kage's main building. Just as she expected, the passage outside the front door was covered in grains. Ookami made her way over and continued her broom work. Being careful not to sweep any of the sand onto her own shoes and did her best to discard the sand a good distance away from the front door. She felt a slight pleased sensation due to having this opportunity to make a difference. Despite it even being a small one. As she completed the last listed objective, Ookami returned to the mission board to collect her reward and discard the borrowed broom back to it's original owner. Thanking the person for being so kind enough to allow her to use it. Giving her this opportunity to take on such a quick mission.

Mission 2
Well well. . . another labor mission was posted ontonthe mission board. After her completion of the sand mission, Ookmai made the decision to take on the other listed labor parchemt. This one requested a shinobi to scrub the Mizukage Monument until it was completely spotless. The requirement for the mission completion was definitely overkill, if one was to be dramatic. Ookami took the parchment for the mission's scripted instructions, before making her way home. She planned to gather up some of her own cleaning supplies with the possibility of a quick snack. After making her way through her front door, the genin went in search of her supplies that she had in mind. Her results was two scrub sponges, a scrub brush with an extendable handle, a bucket of water and some ass kicking soap.
She gathered the supplies within a makeshift bag from a blanket she had put away. Wrapping the supplies up before toeing it off and hauling it over her small shoulder, before leaving her house. Venturing though the mist village towards the mizukage monument. To what a surprise to see one of the statues still looking fresh as if recently built. Either way she made it her objective to scrub ALL of the statues clean, even the new one that was no where in the bad conditions as the others.
Ookami would tilt her head as she examines the monuments. Moving closer to the first one to begin her task on. The white haired genin laid out her supplies across the sandy ground. Organizing her scrub sponges in a pile before dropping one into the bucket of water. She would then apply her soap to the bucket and allow the sponge to soak up the cleaning solution. Her blue eyes watched as the soapy bubbles surrounded the submerged sponge.

Re: The Snow Steps Up {Closed Missions}
Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:07 am
The morning came and he was reminded by his calendar that he was to go and take a mission at the notice boards that morning. He was already awake, but he didn't think he had what it took to leave the house and deal with the people of Kirigakure that morning. He fought his internal battle and finally swung his legs over the side of the bed and got himself dressed. When he was finished with getting himself dressed and looking decent, he left his home.
He got the exclusive job of cleaning all the statues within the Mizukage's monument. He sighed as he was given the mission posting, reluctantly thanked the one who gave it to him. He then turned around and headed toward the monument. The monument was a massive statue, being surrounded by a bunch of smaller statues, so he figured he would get to work.
Hamako had been cleaning the monuments for almost an hour. There were so many of them and of course, they were all white... He had spent the last twenty minutes on a single statue, feeling his compulsive tendencies pushing him to making every square milimeter on the statue sparkle like it was the brightest star within the night sky. It had been a while since he had completed a mission, so he figured he would start with an easy one.
He finally felt okay with leaving the statue he was cleaning, so he began moving on to the next statue in line. That was when he saw a woman with the same color hair as he had. He sighed at the idea of having to complete this task with another person. Internally warring with himself on whether or not he should actually say a word, his natual instinct to stay quiet seemed to win the day. He decided to stay as quiet as he could, hoping that the woman wouldn't even notice that he was there.
After polishing the next statue, he noticed that he had finished the final statue needing cleaning, except for the one the woman was standing in front of. The war commenced once again to speak to the woman. He thought of asking the woman if she wanted his help, but he was sure that was going to end up with a social interaction, and he didn't think he was quite ready to speak to anyone, let alone a woman... He walked by the woman with his cleaning equipment under his arm, continuing to hope that she wouldn't say anything to him.

Ookami had her sponge out within her hand, and had moved onto scrubbing her chosen statue clean. She watched as the grime smeared itself around from the wetness, and then after wringing a little access water on it the grime washed away. When it came to not being able to reach the higher point of the statue, Ookami would switch to the scrub brush with the extended handle. As she continued cleaning the statue, she would have finished and moved on to another the moment someone else came by.
Her blue hues glanced over the the newcomer, realizing that he was a stranger to her. She noticed the supplies he brought with him amd felt that it was safe to assume that he was here for the mission as well. By the way he held himself, Ookami could tell that he wasn't really interested in any interaction with her. The white haired kunoichi was also not the type to force herself into a situation where she was not wanted. Ookami would finish up her status, just as the man finished his part. Allowing himself to pass her without being a bother to him. She dropped the grimey brush into her bucket of dirty water. |End|
