Fire within Konohagakure {Sai/Snjor}

Mission

There was an urgent alert for a mission that was needed to be done as soon as possible. Any fellow ninja within the village would have been contacted to report to the mission board if they wasn't busy. A ferocious fire had broke through one of the market districts within Konohagakure, and it was becoming a literal disaster. The mission was to try and prevent the spread of the blaze to farther shops or surrounding buildings. To minimize the potential damage that could result of the outcome of the burning. There was also the need to escort any panicked civilians that was in danger of being harmed. This was definitely not the type of job that would be easily executed with just a single pair of hands.

As soon as Akira heard the news of the dangerous outbreak, she rushed to get dressed in her usual black attire. Lacing up her combated boots before tying on her weapon pouches around her upper right thigh. As she finished rushing herself to get dressed, the red haired genin would quickly pluck an apple from her kitchen before darting out the door. An elegant blonde fox would be following close to her heels as she quickly made her way towards the market district. Akira's ember eyes glanced over to the rather large fox at her heels before nodding her head, to show acknowledgement of her familiar's presence. For a mission like this one couldn't just simple walk their way to the destination. Every minute counts since you can't just expect the fire to wait on you. Akira planned in her head as she approached closer to the market district. From here she could see the bellowing dark smoke that snaked through the sky. Pyro would let out a worried yip. Akira would respond with a confident grin, "Don't worry we got this Pyro."

She analyzed her plan within her head. Hoping that she wasn't the only one who responded to the mission alert. If she was then so be it. Akira would depend on her familiar to lead any endangered civilians away to safety. If there was anyone injuried then she could count on Pyro to find some help. Akira would handle the heated situation that was blazing. With her extremely hot temperatures, the heat of the fire wouldn't be a problem. She would just need to make sure she don't get licked by the flame.  Her move would be to get her hands on any water.

Sai was strolling through the village today, looking for something to do. He had decided that today he would relax and not take it to hard on himself. Sai felt as though he had been working hard on getting stronger and that he deserved a break. Sai had wandered by a street vendor and decided to stop and grab a bite to eat from him. The smell from the vendor food was mezmerizing, enough to pull Sai right to the man. Just as Sai was about to start talking with the man he heards screams come from deeper in the market district. He didnt know what to make of it, but then a mission request had alerted him, telling him everything he needs to know .Sai looks at the man and tells him it would be best if he packs it up for the day. The man agree's.

Sai started running towards the screaming and could start to see a thick black smoke up in the sky. As he ran he could see people start closing down their stores and getting ready to protect their property. Sai was worried that the fire would spread through the village faster  , if it somehow got to the residentail part. Sai wasent going to let it get tha far, he knew he had to do his part in putting out the fire. Sai ran into the district and tried to see how bad it was and see what he could do to help. Moments after arriving he see's Akira and her pet, he immmediatly ran over to her and greeted her.

"Hey, You know how this started", he said lookin at Akira. Sai was ready to get this mision started. He just hope that Snow would make it in time to help with his water techs.

Snow had heard about a fire that was roaring in one of the shops in the middle of town. Snow was both terrified for the well being of the people of Konoha, but he was also hopeful that the shop that was on fire was not the herbalist's shop. She had turned into a faux mother figure for Snow during the trying times that was the passing of his mother. He ran from the training grounds, all the way to the other side of the village to get to the market district, seeing that the fire was indeed a roaring disaster based on the smoke that was coming over the rooftops.

Snow turned the corner, and he saw the herb shop in a blazing inferno. Snow, instantly terrified, body flickered to be directly next to the burning building, and next to his two teammates. He had no time to do anything, not even greet them. He instantly performed the hand seals for the Rain Tiger at Will technique. Giant storm clouds would begin to form above them, and a hard and harsh rain would begin. The water would help the fire from spreading, but it wouldn't help the herbalist that Snow was sure was inside. He created two shadow clones and all three of them performed a different technique. 

Snow would perform the Icy Mist, one shadow clone would perform the Snake's Mouth technique, and the other shadow clone would perform the weapons of Ice technique, and would throw it into the blazing building, instantly performing the shuriken shadow clone. The ice balls that were created would instantly melt, but the water created from the melting ice balls would drench the current fire, beginning to reduce the amount of fire.

With the efforts of all three Snow's, a pathway was created into the building. He sprinted into the building, frantically looking for the Herbalist. "Ma'am! Where are you!?" Snow began running up the stairs, watching as the frame of the building was beginning to waiver. Snow burst through one of the doors upstairs, finding the woman, unconscious on the floor. He was sure the smoke was enough to knock her out. One of his clones had followed him into the building. Snow and his clone both grabbed the herbalist and ran out of the building. Shortly after they exited the building with the woman, the roof would cave in and the building would come crashing down. 

Snow looked around and asked if there was anyone with medical training. While Snow knew a great deal, he knew nothing about injuries such as the ones she had sustained. He hoped that someone nearby would be able to help her. When they set her on the ground, Snow would have both of his shadow clones continue to put their water chakras into the burning building, doing their best to stop the spread and to quench the fire enough to put it out. 

After a few minutes of the shadow clone's best efforts, the fire continued to rage. Snow was concerned that the fire was going to spread into the neighboring buildings, despite the rain that was currently pounding the buildings as they were. Snow stood and he turned around to look at the building, trying to find the best way. He knew that both of his teammates were fire users, so that would not be of much help. But he knew that they would be able to do something to push the fires away from the neighboring buildings.

His body was tired, he had poured out a ton of chakra in only a few minutes trying to save the woman within the shop. He did have one last technique that would be able to help in this situation. He knew that this would most likely take the rest of the chakra that he had within him, but it was worth it. He performed the hand seals for the technique Snowhawk Routing. Upon the finishing the hand seals, a massive hawk made of pure ice chakra would emerge from his body and would fly directly into the fire. Upon the impact between the hawk and the fire, there would be a large slam, quickly followed by a massive cloud of steam and white smoke emerging from the site. 

Snow would then fall to his knees. His body completely spent by performing almost every technique that he knew in a matter of only ten minutes. His breath was quick and shallow, he was trying to keep his balance and his vision, but both began to waiver. There was still a fire, but it was much lower at this point, to the point that water chakra would not be required to put out the rest. While he was indeed exhausted, he was able to muster one sentence, he waved to his teammate Akira. If she would come closer to him, he would tell her that the rest is up to them and would ask her to take the herbalist to the hospital, for they were the only one that would be able to help her at this point.

Akira was making her way closer to the bellowing smoke, indicstingnthat she was getting closer to the fire within the market district. Her familiar Pyro sniffed at the air. Her little snout quivering as it breathed in the musky warm air. It wasn't long when a familiar figure encountered the two. Sai had taken the time to greet them and asked how the fire had started. But there was no tike to waste explaining it, especially since Akira herself did not know. Her ember eyes would gaze at him for a moment as she gave a quick response. "No idea. . . we need to act quickly." As she spoke her response to Sai's question, Snjor would suddenly appear. He gave no time to acknowledge their presence and was quick in action to get to the source of the fire. Akira would follow along behind him in a sprint. Leading up to a building in blaze of the fiery red flames. The building that was on fire wasn't familiar to her, but by his reaction it must have been to her partner Snjor.

The sky started to drizzle with rain. With the sudden approach of the downfall Akira was sure it was a jutsu of some sort. Snjor was all in action to take out the blaze and get inside the building. In his frenzy there was no stopping him. Akira was confident that he could handle his own so she decided to concentrate on the spread of the fire. She sent a quick message to Pyro within her thoughts before making her way to a nearby house. The red haired shinobi quickly found access to a water hose that was connected to a spout. Without even bothering to ask permission to use it, Akira would turn on the hose and approach closer to the blazing perimeter. Hoping that Sai had made his way over as well to help out with the blaze. Akira hosed down the ground outside the perimeter of the flaming building with what length she had with the hose. The rain and all the extra water would make it difficult for a fire to spread across. Any fire that seemed to get out of control or was missed by Snjor's jutsu and was within her area would be hosed down. The red haired genin felt a little sheepish using a mere hose for this job but there wasn't much she could do as a fire user.

Pyro on the other hand had gotten her message. The graceful blonde fox made sure to keep an eye out for any civilians who was near the fire or in any distress. So far from her perimeter everything seemed in check and control. The fox directed her attention to the building where Snjor had disappeared inside. Letting out a worried yip as she paced the ground. Moments later Snjor would reappear with an unconscious woman within his arms. Pyro whined out as he exited the building, watching as the roof caved inwards. Snjor and his clone gentle set the woman down. Pyro pounced over to the unconscious woman and licked the ash from her unconscious face. Letting Snjor get the impression that she will watch over the woman.

Akira on the other hand had done her best to keep the fire at bay and from spreading with the water hose. After the efforts Snjor had put in to take out the blaze, and the rain pelting against the buildings, the fire was no match. As the blaze began to die down, Akira would abandon the hose and quickly make her way towards the victim building. Pyro sent her a message that there was an unconscious woman in need. The genin made her way over to her familiar. At this point she could see that her partner Snjor was spent. Watching as he fell to his knees. Akira made her way over to quickly help keep him from completing collapsing to the ground. "Watch him~" She spoke to Pyro, after hearing what Snjor asked. With all the surroundings being drenched in water and ice, the dulling fire had no way to grow anymore. Its flickering flame indicated that it was dying amongst the wet ash. "Sai can you put the rest out? Kick the wet dirt on it if you must." Hoping that her other teammate would be close by.

Both Akira and Pyro would switch places. The blonde fox made her way over to the exhausted Snjor and would lower her body to the ground. Ignoring the mud that clung to her fur. Akira would lower Snjor to the ground if he allowed her to. Leaning his head against the soft warm body of her familiar. if Snjor rested his head against her fluffy flank, then Pyro would lick his face as well. Clearing away any smoke or ash. "If you don't rest on her, I promise you she will bite you for insulting her." With that being said Akira would glance at her familiar one last time for reassurance, and then made her way to the woman. Akira was surprisingly strong for being a woman. With how much she had trained her strength, it took hardly any effort at all to lift the unconscious woman. She counted of Sai to do the rest, and Pyro would be there if he needed any help. Akira carefully carried the unconsious woman to a hospital. Letting Pyro know within her thoughts to watch out for the other two teammates. For how Snjor acts normally, he tends to act out on his own even a little carelessly. Something that Akira only expected from herself and Sai. But perhaps she was wrong, and Snjor was slightly careless as well given the situation. She wondered if this unconscious woman meant something to him. Was it his mother or aunt? There was no telling, and Akira was not that curious to bother asking later. Family wasn't much of an interest to her. She just out her mind to at least delivering her to get some help. |Exit|

As Sai looked around he could see was a thick black smok coming from the market district. Sai knew his main goal was to help get people out of the area, since he dosent know any water jutsu. Sai could tell by the tone of Akira voice she was ready to get this fire delth with. As Sai was about to start looking for people to help, it started to rain. Sai thought someone else from the village was there to help, until he had noticed it was Snow. It bought a huge smile o his face to watch his team mate spring into action like that.

If Sai didnt know any better he would of thought Snow was trying to look like a hero. Sai knew though that Snow wasent trying to be hero, in Sai eyes Snow was the kind of person to help anyone and would risk his life helping people. As Snow ran past Sai watched as Akira ran behind him. Not to be out done by his team mates, Sia summoned a Shadow clone to go and help anyone that they were not able to. Sai then took off behind his two team mates. 

The rain was helping put out the fire but it wasnt nearly enough to put out such a blaze, Sai could see Akira grab a hose from a nearby hydrant and started to help put out the fire. Sai watched as his two team mates worked together to put out the fire as best they could, until he had seen Snow ran inside of one of the burning buildings.
"This guy crazier than he shows", Sai thought. He wasent sure that he would run in a burning building for anyone, but thats where Sai and his rival differ. 

He came out with a women who was alive but unconscious, Sai was impressed at the determination that Akra and Snow had to help save the people of the village. As Akira familiar went to watch over the women, Sai could feel his clone disperse. Sai clone was able to help save a good amount of people on the other side of the market and get them away from the blaze. Shortly after Saving the women Snow had collapsed. Sai could tell Snow was exhausted from doing so much work. Akira had asked Sai to take care of the rest, Sai looked around to see that much of the fire had already been put out. 

Sai gave her a nod as he watched he take the women away. Sai then walked over to the hose that Akira once had and resumed to put out any remaining flames. Once done he sat besides his exhausted team mated, hoping to get a little break before leaving.

Snow was exhausted, and the warmth from Pyro was extremely welcoming after much of the heat from his own body had exited. He rested his head on the small fox’s rib cage, and she returned the gesture by licking his face. Snow would rest peacefully on the small animal until it was time for them to leave. Snow would bring himself up to his knee and would pet Pyro’s snout. She yipped a few excited yips and would begin running back to Akira. Snow used Sai’s help to get up to his feet. When he stood, he asked Sai for his help back to his home. His body was far too tired to get to any training today, so he was going to go home instead. When he got home, he was lucky enough to have his father there to tend to his immediate wounds and help him along to his bed, where he would sleep for the rest of the day.
