"Oh shit", Sai thought to himself as he jumped out of bed. It was the afternoon already and Sai nap was unfortunately over. Today was the day he was suppose to be going on a mission, with a female kunoichi. Sai had not met to many kunoichi in his short time as a certified ninja, except for his team mate Akira. He hoped that should would be just as good as a team mate if not better than the one he had. Sai quickly got dress after taking a shower, making sure not to forget to put his Lightweight body suit on. He knew that this mission could get a little dangerous and he felt as though he couldnt be more ready. He quickly finish up what he needed to do and made his way to the meeting spot.

Sai made his way out his building in haste, not even speaking to his friendly neighbors on his way out. He had his mind focus on completing this mission with ease, he didnt need any distraction. Upon his arrival at the meeting spot he saw a female standing at the gates with her arms stretch out. Sai wasent to to sure if it was her but he doubt anyone else would just be standing there at the same time he was suppose to be there, unless it was his partner for the day. Sai Approached her with a friendly smile.

"Sorry im late, my nap lasted longer than expected. Im Saizou Uchiha, pleasure to meet you", Sai said with a smile. His excitement for this mission was getting close to its peak.

Sai listened as she introduced herself, he listen attentively. He needed to know the name of the young women he would be working with. This mission was going to get serious and they needed to make sure that they knew each other names , just incase they had to call out to each other. Hanabi had suggested that they go out on a patrol, an idea Sai could get behind. As they left he would make sure not to go further than 7 meters from her. Sai watched as his partner activated her byakugan and it bought a slight smile upon his face. He had never seen it up close and now to have someone on his team use i was amazing to him. He would wait to activate his Sharingan. Sai instead would keep his eyes and ears open to anything out of the ordinary. He would also summon two normal clones. Sai would have one clone walk infront of him and one to his right side, since Hanabi was on his left.

A scream could be heard in the distance, originating from within the forest. The source of the scream was a woman from the village who had found herself in a terrible predicament with a missing ninja who just happened to be wondering close to a major village.
 
Sazo was a tall and slender male with semi long and dark hair that was messy. He appeared to be in his late twenties or maybe even early thirties. This missing shinobi has a menacing personality and lust for murder and torturing innocent people- or giving them a hard time at least. Luckily for this citizen, Sazo decided to let her run off towards her village as he was in the mood to take on village shinobi today, not torture the innocent. It had been some time since Sazo had felt the thrill of battle and he had become quite bored with those who could not fight back.
 
This Hozuki was located 100 meters into the forest on a dirt path that was approximately 10 meters wide that also extended as far as the eye could see. On both sides of this 10-meter-wide dirt path was dense foliage of the forest which surrounded the village. This is the location that Sazo would plan his surprise. The missing ninja would perform a singular hand seal, the tiger, and then exhale enough mist to cover a 50-meter radius. (20 speed)
 
The mist was semi-transparent but appeared to be thick from the outside. If one were to enter the mist, they would only be able to see 1 to 2 meters in front of them at best. Sazo would complete his exhale and position himself 3 meters to the right of the dirt path, still within the mist and hidden amongst the foliage. Here he would be still as he utilized his skills as a sensory ninja to wait until someone made themselves present before he would strike.

Sa clones soon dissapeard, he had been worried about an ambush but as they moved through the forest nothing happened. Sai could hear a scream off in the distance and knew something was up, he figured that it was the person they was out there looking for causing a problem for someone. A devilish grin went across Sai face for a moment, knowing it wouldnt be to long until he would get his first real chance at some blood shed. As Hanabi and him moved through the forest, she had spotted a chakra infused mist. Sai knew this had to be the right place, there was no way a mist could be right in that spot and no where else. Not to mention that the mist was infused with chakra, which made attempting to look through it with his Sharingan pointless. He was happy he had a hyuuga with him on this mission or he would of been in a tough situation. 

Sai listen as hanabi described the exact details of where the person would be hiding at. He would then make a shadow clone and have them both activate their Sharingan. "This mist is going to be bad, i cant see through it and relying on you to tell me information inside of it would be suicide. What should we do now", Sai would say crouching down. He would could a 5 meter distance between himself and the mist. Keeping his clone to the right of him and Hanabi to his left. He would want to hear Hanabi opinion before he starts his own plan that he came up with.

A few moments passed and Sazo grew bored of waiting. Hiding behind a tree and waiting for someone to stroll along wasn’t much of his style. In that moment he came up with a great idea. Sazo decided he would try out a combination of techniques to pull off a surprise that was going to be more elaborate than any he had ever pulled before. He could barely wait to get started. The man laughed evilly as he imagined the faces of his victims when he suddenly appeared and struck them down. At this point, his excitement to kill was rather disturbing, but that was why he didn’t have any friends after all, right?

 

Far off in the distance were two unsuspecting Genin traveling through the forest at a very slow rate of speed towards Sazo’s location. Their lack of urgency allowed for Sazo to set up his new plan before they would arrive at the dirt path. Prior to the two Genin reaching the dirt path, Sazo had successfully repositioned himself a few meters from the middle of the mist and performed 3 hand seals (Dragon, Tiger, Hare) producing a jet of water which he shot a few meters out in front of him, the water flowing in every direction. Sazo relied on his surface walking technique to ensure his own technique would now wash him away. The purpose of this was not to destroy the land scape, but to flood the surrounding areas so that the Hozuki could utilize the remaining water for his surprise. Sazo then quickly proceeded with phase 2 of his plan, forming 3 hand seals (Ox, Dog, Snake) and fusing into the water which surrounded the area located at the middle of the misty fog. The remaining water area of the path would be 10m in diameter and located at the middle of the fog. Sazo would remain in this state hidden within the fog until an unlucky adventurer would proceed to enter.

 

Now that his trap was set, the two would finally make it to the dirt path, but when they got closer to the shroud of mist, what the Hyuuga found would be different then what she may have hoped for. Sazo would wait fused and hidden within the remaining 10 meter radius pool that he had created prior with his recent jutsu and would wait for someone to come along.
