Sazo would remain hidden in the water, which was also hidden within the mist. The water was made out of his chakra therefore it was pretty much impossible to differentiate the two as they would simply appear as a mass of chakra within the mist.

Time would continue to pass and Sazo would remain stagnant for now in his current state- waiting for the perfect moment to strike an unsuspecting victim. His victims must be smarter than they usually were since no one has yet to venture into the mist which was blocking a major path from the village. Sooner or later someone would dare enter and they would be punished for it.

It was time. The moment that Sazo had been waiting for had finally arrived. Despite the situation, his victim did not seem to have the slightest care as to what they were walking into, a trap. Just like their efforts to arrive to this location now, Sazo’s victim would be traveling at a very slow rate of speed when compared to his own. (15 speed) As they entered the mist, Sazo would be able to tell their arrival by how loud they were walking. If they had attempted to be a bit quieter, they might have fooled the psycho, but their careless actions had alerted him.



The girl would go unimpeded through the mist until she reached the area that Sazo had been hiding, a 10 M radius puddle located within the middle of a 50 M radius fog. A moment passed and the girl would then retrieve a kunai and release it towards where she must have suspected something threatening may be. Unfortunately, again, her execution is such maneuver was done in such a careless effort that her actions and speed at which her weapon traveled matched her pace from earlier (15 speed) …



Sazo would be able to identity his clear area of opportunity, and just as she released her kunai randomly 3 Meters to the left of the center of the 10 M water radius where Sazo was hiding, he would reposition himself from the center to be at the furthest distance away from the girl on the opposite of the puddle. (44 Speed) Sazo was now hidden 10 meters away from the girl, directly in front of her. Sazo would then rise from the water (44 Speed) and would now be fully revealed from the water- this action would be completed in unison with the girl’s kunai hitting the water.



As soon as Sazo resurfaced, he would create a half tiger seal by his side (65 speed), which was the natural position that his hand rested as he resurfaced. The half tiger seal would create from the water around them, 40 6-inch-long and half inch thick, water needles. These 40 water needles would originate from ground level where the water was, directly 5 meters in front of Sazo, and 5 meters in front of his victim, and travel at a 45-degree angle from their 5 meters away origin, towards her, covering a 30 meter radius. (55 Speed/55 Power)



As the water needles traveled towards his victim, he would allow the mist to disperse so that he could see his finished product. In unison, he would produce 5 hand seals to be safe (Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog, Snake (65 Speed)If the attack hit whatever was lurking at the edge of the pond, then he would see a girl who had been impaled by several needles. If his attack failed and someone planned to retaliate, then he would be ready for them.

Sazo would have completed his hand seals by the time the girl had pulled down her mask, turned around, completed a hand seal, and then touched the ground to produce a rather sneaky jutsu that Sazo had known all too well. What Sazo didn’t expect was that her armor was stronger than his needles, which was a serious problem.

 

The rocks would protrude from the ground and strike the man’s body only to explode into water. The man had utilized a technique that replaced his own body with that of water that was near him instantaneously. Sazo would reappear north of where her technique had been cast upon him and he would use his own version of her technique in an attempt to subdue her. Because he had mastered the technique, it did not require any preamble of an pending attack. Just as she had previously attempted to do to him, 6 rock spikes would emerge from the ground at a 45 degree angle, in a circle around her exactly 1M away, in an attempt to spear her. These spikes would travel at 45 speed.

 

If successful, the spikes would hopefully pierce her armor and kill her, or at least stop her from moving if he was lucky.

Sazo’s victim slashed through his spikes with ease. A feat that made Sazo feel a complex sort of emotions. Was it fear that he felt for his own life or was it anger that someone could get the better of him? To make things worse she was a girl and Sazo was a misogynist of sorts. Blinded by rage, he would take his first step towards the girl just as she had performed the bull rush maneuver. In disbelief that a women could out power him, Sazo resorted to attempted to take her life with his hands- the only way to remove her armor and choke the life from her body until he became limp. Hanabi moved at speeds that dwarfed his own and once the gap was a sword length away, the girl would produce a blade and slash towards Sazo’s waist area.

 

Sazo would reach out towards the girl with both hands to corral her but it was too late. Before the tips of his fingers could meet the girl’s armor, her blade would level him and pass through his body like a knife slicing through warm butter. What the shinobi did next was not important to Sazo for he had now been chopped in half. He was able to mutter a few words before passing away. “H-How c-could you?”.

 

Sazo’s top half of his body would slide in a grotesque manner before making a ‘thud’ sound when hitting the floor. His bottom half however would remain in place, standing in front of the girl. A scene that would truly test her. Was she prepared for the outcome? Could she live with such guilt of taking the life of another in such a crude way? For her sake it was a lesson of the harsh realities of being a shinobi..
