Walking on the Moon (Ryal, Taishi)

The brute would continue to chew his food, swallowing it before replying to his companions talking about training. Ryal made the suggestion and Levi would agree. Taishi would nod while adding in, “It has been too long since we got in proper workout, or at least I can say so for myself.” He didn’t know for sure if his companions managed to get training in during the times they weren’t with one another but based on their responses he imagined they were as rusty as he was. He agreed with Levi and considered adding something, but his mouth was full of meat and he would simply let the moment pass without anything else being said.
 
“On the borders of Rain Country I’ve got a… let’s call him an old acquaintance.” He would crack a smirk, “I lent him a decent sum of money a few years back. He should be reasonable and pay what he owes. If not…” Taishi would strike his fist into the palm of his other hand, making it very clear his intentions. “How about you, Ryal? Where do we gotta go to collect what is owed to you?” Taishi would inquire, wondering if they would be lucky and the paths to both jobs would be in the same general direction.
 
“Before we get started on that though, I want to check out this country a bit.” He would lounge back on a mount that seemed to quickly form behind him from raised earth. “May get lucky and find something here worthwhile. You guys up for sticking around a bit? We can work on knocking off some of this rust in the meantime.” His mind drifted to whether or not his old acquaintance would have the manpower to stop the trio, even if they were a bit rusty. Honestly he didn’t think so, but better safe than sorry. He couldn’t have anything happen to these two. Taishi was pretty fond of his companions and wanted to keep them safe, a hard task in the lives of missing ninja.
 
Another large bite of the deer would find its way into the mouth of the grey brute, after which he would pull out his Earth Tool knife and pick his teeth with it. It wasn’t incredibly sharp so no risk of harming himself, and once you get beyond the slight earthy taste that seemed to develop once the tool spend too much time in ones mouth it wasn’t the worst way to remove junk from ones teeth. Soon after his hand would be found reaching for his flask to wash down the food and odd taste. Cut back on drinking? Yeah, that’s not likely to happen anytime soon.

Ryal chuckled when the Nara suggested that his partner spend less money on alcohol, like that would ever happen. His own comment even caused himself to crack up and the male let the team know that he would join them in the collecting. Levi was also down for some training and would let the other two decide the order of operations. Once Taishi spoke they were all in agreement for a second time and Ryal would grab a third helping of deer before it was all gone. As the golden eyed god filled up his partner would explain his situation, luckily the person they needed to find was right next door. When the brute asked about Ryal’s debt the Shinkou would clear his mouth while thinking. “If we’re going to Rain I actually have a bit of an amegachi day fund left there.” He would finally say as the brute leaned back and the earth naturally caught him. The grey-ish male would then ask if they were ok with searching the ruins first, seeing him casually pick at his teeth with an earth tool it would seem that he’d gotten a bit lethargic. Since there was no urgency to train Ryal would respond with a simple, “Yea, that’s fine.” He’d then dust off his hands and check to see if his hair was dry, pulling it up into a bun as usual once he confirmed that was the case. If they were to linger a while Ryal would stretch and meditate to check in on Yuumei and make sure it wasn’t planning some sort of coup.

It seemed that the three of them didn't have to think too long before they would come to an agreement about their next destination. As Levi listened to Taishi, the brute explained having and old acquintance who still owed him some money. If things went as they should this individual shouldn't mind paying back what he got from Taishi in the first place. He would then ask Ryal about the location they should go to in order to collect what was his, but not before he suggested taking a look around the place where they were now.  "Sounds good, while we're at it we can get ourselves back into shape again." The Nara would then listen to what Ryal had to say.

Coincidentally his golden eyed partner claimed to have some sort of a fund around the parts of Rain Country as well. It would make things easier for the crew if they didn't have to travel to different locations in order to get what they needed. On the matter of checking out where they were hanging around for the time being, Ryal wasn't opposed to the idea. So for now it seemed that they would be sticking around at Moon Country a little longer. If they got lucky they might come across some hidden treasure or something similar. Or worse, they could end up running into one of the monsters like the ones in Sunagakure.

Levi would stand up once he was done eating, brushing off the dust on his clothes before he would be completely ready to leave. "Let's get to work shall we boys?" He would wait till Taishi and Ryal got up as well before he would walk away.

Taishi would find that everyone in the band would be on board. It was fortunate that Rain country had been the place where both Ryal and he would be able to find some quick cash. The greyish brute didn’t want to have to travel all over the place if it could be helped, especially with talks of getting their own place going. Sleeping on a bed was probably the highlight of that whole situation and the longer it took for them to secure the funds the more strain the wandering brute would have to place on his already sore back.
 
After removing bits of meat stuck in his teeth and washing it down with a few quick mouthfuls from his flask, Taishi would let his stomach settle a bit before standing and taking Levi’s lead in standing and dusting oneself off. He would stretch out a bit, as they were sitting for a decent chunk of time while cooking, eating and discussing what to do next. Ryal pulled his hair up as usual, something the bald brute never had to contend with. Hair didn’t seem to grow very much if at all on the man, his odd genetics likely the culprit.
 
Once both Ryal and Levi would be ready, Taishi would use his earth style to return their dishes and cutlery to the earth while also burying the camp fire. Better to avoid leaving too many signs of their presence just in case someone thought it best to track and follow them. A simple not to his companions would confirm they were all ready to head out and explore what this odd country had to offer.

As the golden eyed god pulled back his blue locks the shortest of the three stood and announced he was ready to get busy and active. The grey-ish brute would be the next to stand following in the Nara’s example. He didn’t speak but a simple nod to the both of them was all Ryal needed to know that he too was ready. Once the Shinkou joined them in standing Taishi would cover their tracks and the trio would wander into the city ruins. Hopefully, they wouldn’t run into any squatters, at least not any hostile ones. Beating up criminals was one thing but he didn’t want the stress of dealing with survivors, in his experience, they tend to treat everyone outside of their group as thieves and had no problem killing those that would jeopardize their way of life. With a sigh, the blue haired male would take the first steps. The Shinkou would actually have fun exploring Tengakure if this went on without any hitches, he couldn't remember the last time he'd been exploring.

Other than when he came across the hot spring in Ame, that was also one of the best treasures he'd ever found. It was good that he'd get to check up on it, the golden eyed god had no idea how he would've managed to find the time had that little bitch's plan gone the way she wanted. He scoffed internally at the thought at her, Good riddance. Another thought also floated through his head, of the Ragdoll, perhaps he'd go back one day to see about that power. Maybe it was just Yuumei fighting to be near darkness, Ryal shook his head slightly. He'd definitely have a sit down with the energy once the group was safe, he didn't want anyone playing with his mind, especially something ethereal. Although he could do it now he didn't want any distractions when dealing with the snarky bastard.
