The bright older man smiled at her, making her feel lighter and more friendly in return. Tsu knew of the impact a simple smile could have on someone. It can be the difference between friend and foe upon meeting a stranger. Plus. studies had shown that smiling makes you a happier person as well. It showed with Yasaki. “I am glad to hear you are doing perfectly," he would add with a light-hearted chuckle, causing the Senju to smile with him. "The mission was done so far I am doing good."

"...Recently I had a chat with the previous Hogokage and it went smoothly," Yasaki would tell her, her ears and eyes perked, curious on what it was about. She didn't know the previous Kage that well, he seemed like a mystery mostly and not a very interesting man from the lack of conversations about him. There had been many Hogokage within the lifetime of Hoshi, especially for how young the village was. She was just barely younger than the village itself and it had already had eight Hogokages.

He eyed her up and down and asked, “How’s family and yourself?” She felt a bit embarrassed by the glace and the question. She folded her arms across her chest and glanced up. "I'm doing well. My family has passed a long time ago. I haven't seen them in a long time." Her parents were buried already and she has tended the garden they had left behind for her. It was the only gift she liked from her parents. 

Tsu was kinda desperate to change the subject back to the village. "So I hear the Chunin exams are coming up. I'm planning some preparation with my students in the wildlife sometime to prepare them for the coming exams. I'm excited to see what they can come up within a short amount of time."

Yasaki seemed to find the conversation interesting. He already knew the names of her students. “I would like these students of yours to be led by you. Kiryu Hikari, Sakurgai Hyuuga, Kuniko Hyuuga. You run these individuals and officially you are the leader of this group..." Tsubaki nodded, happy to hear that he was fine with her leading Team Summer. "...I expect them to get stronger, not weaker but strong. I need them to learn to fend off attacks, but in doing so I would like you to take part in this squad. You can name it whatever you like, however, you wish. That is on you, my friend. Tsubaki Senju, the blossom of Hoshigakure, the light is on your name and always has.” Tsubaki was glad to hear the Kage call her his friend. 

Tsubaki smiled brightly and looked into the old man's eyes. "I will gladly lead them." She would look at the crowd surrounding the store that they were at as they gathered to see the Kage out of his office. "These genins are going to be something great. I've already started training Kuniko Hyuuga in the way of being a medical ninja. He's got great chakra control. Sakuragi is a powerful taijutsu user, following the lessons of the Hyuuga down to a T. Kiryu, is still a bit of a stranger to me, but has plenty of room for improvement." She looked back at the Kage, smirking proudly. "They are the sprouting for which I will grow my forest." It was a statement that the Kage might not get because it was something she had thought a lot about lately. The genin was the next generation, the one to grow from the soil left from the previous generations. If she couldn't become powerful, then they would.
