Well, they seemed to miss the point of what he was offering, implying that he was the one who wanted to get the ball but none the less they all agreed that teamwork was the best route here. He was not exactly excited about the approach of just an all out assault as he felt that Arcanis was much stronger than even the three of them combined but he was also not going to argue with the team. Rook talked about the ball and how it was weird in some way and Furozan gazed out at it trying to figure out what it could be.

He mentioned the surface walking technique and Furozan looked over at Rook. “So he has bound the ball to him? But it can’t just be a ball. You are right, it did not pop, which means that it is either an illusion that it is a ball or it is being covered by something.” He was not sure how useful the information was or how he was going to get it out of Arc’s hands. “We will have to pressure him enough that he cannot keep using his chakra to keep the ball bound to him. We will need to get him to use another Jutsu.”

Furozan stepped forward and put his hands out and began to form hand seals while he spoke to the other two. “Alright, I am going to chase him with the Water Snake Jutsu, while he has to deal with that you two try and get the ball.” Monkey, rat, tiger, dragon, horse, and finally dragon. “Let’s show him what we are made of.” Furozan smiled as he felt the chakra pooling inside of his stomach and he then turned to face Arc with a determined look in his eyes. “Water Release: Water Snake Jutsu!” A large column of water spewed out of his mouth and then took the form of a snake that seemed to hiss as the water washed over him.

The technique would take a lot of focus so he hoped the other two were ready to attack. He was not aiming to try and hurt Arc, but, he wanted to get him off guard enough that the other two would have a shot to dash in and take the ball from him. He had decent control over the technique so as long as the other two stayed out of its path they would not be hit by it. Even if they were hit by it he would release the jutsu so they were not harmed.

The snake formed and Furozan pushed it forward aiming to clash with Arc. He knew the man would move so he did not send it full steam ahead so he would not risk it crashing into the wall and throwing off the whole gambit. He was hoping that he could get him into dashing away from it and if the other two could come from the left and right of the jutsu they could attack from all three angles. Front, left, and right.

Tenshi nodded enthusiastically at Rooks approval of his plan. Of course, Furo further complicated it, but he could deal with that. He just had to do his part, right?

As the serious and furrow browed Furozan formed his seals, Tenshi stood up, one hand on his hips, the other pointing at arc. "Don't be sorry you challenged us when we get double order of meat, its too late to back out now!" With that he ran forward, yelling.

Should he get to arc, moving at 9 speed, he's attempt a series of boxer like jabs and punches aimed at center mass, hoping to make Arc hold the ball out wide.

Arc watched as the three finally got serious. This would be a good fight he thought. The Distant attacker started with Water Snake Jutsu. It was an interesting technique that Arc thought would be a good tech for him to take up so he paid careful attention to him while he launched the attack. Using the attack as a screen from Rook, he faded in Tenshi’s direction hoping that putting Tenshi between him and the water snake would give him a couple of seconds to deal with the attacks of the young man. He was more interested in seeing each of them performing to their best than he was in beating them.

Should the snake continue to pursue he would evade with plenty of speed to keep out of range, as for the jabs thrown by Tenshi he would find his attacks like before landing directly on the ball. He would get an inkling of an idea of the secret behind the ball. Sitting in arcs open palm the jabs would hit the ball like punching a padded wall. There was no give whatsoever.

Suddenly Rook was above him, his Katana in hand, but another rook attacked from sliding beneath the water snake jutsu. The two blades worked in tandem driving Arc away from Tenshi so he could not follow up with a counter to the series of jabs. Rook worked in perfect unison with his clone, delivering a low and high blow at once so that arc couldn’t block both with the ball, causing him to have to dodge backward. Should the water snake keep coming Arc would have no choice. Winding up he would throw the leather ball through the jutsu, demolishing it. As the ball flew it dipped and hit the floor with a massive quake that shook the gymnasium. Arc would quickly flash to the ball setting a foot on it. “You guys are doing wonderful”

Furozan focused intently as the snake chased after Arc. He was fast. Much faster than Furozan had anticipated and he quickly realized that there was no way he was going to get the jutsu to catch him. He did not relent, though, as Tenshi darted after him trying to hit him. His attacks were in vane but Furozan noted the tenacity that Tenshi had. He was going to make a fine shinobi and Furozan looked forward to working with him more.

His eyes darted as he saw Rook come at him from above and then another one slid out from under his jutsu. He was using another clone? That would come in handy and it proved to be effective as Arc had to toss the ball at Furozan’s jutsu. This was there chance! He would soak it up and bring it to him, but, as it hit his snake turned to water and fell to the ground splashing and the ball landed with a loud crash in the middle of the room.

Furozan was surprised at this and knew that this had to be something more. What was the ball? None the less he hoped that the other two kept going at Arc as he had a plan. Now that the ground was covered in water he had another technique he could try. Quickly forming the hand seals he used the Hiding in Water technique and as Arc was speaking Furozan slunk into the water. It felt odd being in such a small and confined space but he hoped it was enough.

Since Arc through the ball directly at the water, it had splashed all around the ball, creating enough water for him to get close to the ball. Moving as quickly and as silently as he could he would attempt to maneuver through the water and get close enough to the ball under Arc’s foot. When he was close he would jump up out of the water and try and seize the ball out from under Arc’s foot.

As Tenshi started to jab he picked up hope. Arc couldnt even dodge or counterattack his flurry of blows, and was forced to just block, block, block with that really stiff... Ball? wait, wasnt that what they were trying to capture? on his fourth punch Tenshi would activate the surface walking jutsu, using a layer of chakra over his fist to effectively glue himself to the ball. A smirk came across his face as rook now began attacking, taking the attention of Tenshi. He mentally congratulated himself: Ha, didn't think of a genius like me coming up with a plan like THAT on the fly, did you, Mr....

Tenshi did't get to finish the idea as the ball was suddenly thrown across the room at the watersnake. Normally the sight of this wouldn't interrupt his thought process, but as Tenshi was still ATTACHED to the ball that had accelerated as if propelled by a railgun, instead his thoughts were left behind like the smoke from a cartoon roadrunner that had just sped away. His body, though, flapped in the breeze behind the ball, like an explosive tag tied to a thrown kunai. Those particularly perceptive might her a shout of "WWWHHHAAAAAA" changing in pitch according to the doppler effect as the projectile sped past. The terrifying journey came to a halt as abruptly as it began, albeit with a lot more water spray to signal the end of the ride. Tenshi lay face down on the ground, stretched out to still just be attached to the ball by his fist.

Slghtly stunned, he would just lay there for a second or two.

As the ball created an opening in the jutsu that was blocking his view of the gymnasium, Arc would see that Rook still stood on the other side of the room from him. And that Tenshi who was next to Arc a moment ago had followed the ball with gusto...or maybe he had just attached himself to the ball. As Arc flashed over to the ball both Rook’s and an emerging Furo would both slap their hands in the ball along with a dazed Tenshi. Even though he had superior skills to them all 3 had found a way to get to the ball. It was very impressive. Arc hadn’t put his foot on the ball like he had planned; he just merely looked down at his three students with their hands on the ball. The ball however weighing a couple tons would be far too heavy for any of them to manage even if they worked together. But since technically they had their hand on it when Arc didn’t they had won his little game.

“Wonderful. You completed your task admirably. Though I will have to say you guys need to find a way to win your fights a little more strategically. For one, Rook, you relied more on clones of yourself than your actual team mates. You utilized openings created by their attacks but you didn’t communicate your intentions or call for actions. But otherwise, you performed admirably. Furozan You utilized powerful jutsu to accomplish your tasks but at the risk of hitting your teammates. But you used them cleverly and it created openings for your team mates. So you also performed Admirably. And Tenshi. Though you seemed a bit off balance at the beginning you engaged the objective with fervor and though you may benefit from adding a bit of deception to your attacks, your dedication to not losing is also Admirable. I think you all deserve to be treated to dinner.”

Tenshi, who had recovered enough to push himself off his face, now sat crosslegged, leaning back slightly, using his arms behind him to hold him up. Despite being somewhat scuffed and disheveled from the experience, his grin stretched from ear to ear as arc basically told them they won. He'd mentally file away the advice for later, but now he was focused on the praise.

And that last line.

With the mention of food he jumped to his feet. "Alright! I told you, didn't I? So lets see I'm thinking barbeque, you know that place that has the round tables with the fire pit in the center? That ok with you guys? and of course we've got to do both pork and beef, if i have anymore seafood this week i'll barf. Like seriously we need to go import some more cows and stuff to...." Tenshi prattled on as he turned to get his gear, not really too especially concerned where they ended up, just drifting away in the meaningless good-natured chatter of new friends being made.
