Testing the Limits (Zaine)

As he swiftly approached it would become clear to Zaine that Raleth was readying himself for a powerful counterattack- his eyes would widen as he watched the sizeable Sarutobi shift his stance, close his eyes and begin to change his breathing pattern and it would become obvious that something amazing was taking place. Chakra swelled up inside of his opponent at a magnitude that he had never experienced from him before and it seemed to be flowing throughout his body in a controlled yet violent manner- having only recently seen a technique such as this it became clear that his old sensei was executing a technique similar to the one that he witnessed Mizuki Ohta utilizing at her home. "So he's capable of bolstering himself with that level of chakra as well.. i've really got to learn how to do that." He thought as he continued to close the gap between them, at a distance of 5 meters away from Raleth he would notice a strange formation of chakra in the form of feathers that began to exude chakra from them- the color of this chakra differed from that which was observed previously from within his opponent and the density was of a lesser amount as well. Upon coming within the 4 meter range Raleth would ready himself into a stance where he would undoubtedly lunge forward and attempt to strike, his body language spelling this out all too well- he would wait until his opponent lunged forward before he began with his right hand at a speed of 175 to make the Ram handseal which would allow him to move at an increased pace of 225 to a location that was 6 meters behind Raleth and diagonally to the right of him. Next at a speed of 175 Zaine would chain together the handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger allowing the chakra to gather and take form in the pit of his stomach before working its way up to his chest and out of his mouth- the result would be 5 dragon heads made of pure fire that would arc outward and then towards Raleth in a straight line, the heads were sized at 5 meters and moved towards him at a speed of 95 with a power of 95.


The chakra flowing through his blade would halt as he he inhaled deeply and focused his vision on Raleth making sure not to miss a beat- He seemed to be moving at a speed that was double what he was capable of normally but the movement Zaine was able to pull off was still beyond it by a considerable margin- this would mean that the Sarutobi's room for a successful counter or evasive maneuver was thin at best. Still, he would keep his guard up as he waited to see how his opponent would handle the 5 fiery dragon heads that aimed to assault him from his blind spot.

Equipment/Jutsu Used & Calcs:

Raleth blinks, chakra sparks in Zaine, the Uchiha in front of him vanishes. He feels the presence of his opponent 6 meters away, behind his right, in his blind spot. A realization dawns on the Saruotobi, he feels the echo of Zaine's movement, like the wake left by a boat gliding through the ocean. As he feels this echo and empty space in his senses, the ash-haired chuunin deduces that the red-eyed jounin had used body flicker: and achieved an awesome speed. Chakra flares in Zaine, and molds in morphs with the feeling of fire. Raleth leans forward, and tenses his legs.

As the flame-feeling chakra blast comes at him, the ash-haired Sarutobi bursts forward at 155 speed off of his left leg, jumping 20 meters forward. He leans his body to the right and lands on his right leg. Shifting his weight, he turns and leaps off his right leg at 155 speed, jumping 20 meters to the right. He shift his weight again, turning to face Zaine, and lands  meters away from his opponent. Without hesitation, the ash-haired chuunin dashes forward, and runs toward the red-eyed jounin.

As Raleth gets to a spot that is 24 meters away from Zaine, far enough away that he could avoid the Great Dragon Flame jutsu, and react to any more that may be coming from Zaine. As he inhales, the immense Sarutobi leans forward and dashes toward the Uchiha, running at 155 speed. As he getting within 20 meters of Zaine, Raleth feels that intense, flaring chakra still built in the body of his opponent. Being cautious, he keeps his senses active during his assault.

When he gets to a spot 11 meters away, and if there is no change in Zaine chakra or the dragon flame heads, Raleth does something unorthodox. Have cocking his right leg back as he landed on his left leg 11 meters from his opponent, the immense chuunin would shoot out his cocked leg and kick the ground with the front of his foot. Because of his 180 strength, a massive cloud of dust 20 meters in width is kicked at Zaine, and would travel at the strength of the kick used, 180. This dust cloud would irritate his eyes of it made contact, and perhaps make him cough if he were to inhale any of it. 

In the next breadth, Raleth steps on down on his right leg, and pushed himself off it, running to Zaine and a full sprint. As get within 6 meters of the Uchiha, the immense chuunin would slam his fist into the ground, and punch a hole in the earth. The earth would crumble and crack the speed of Raleth's strength, 180, and would form a 20 meter wide crater in the training grounds. The sudden, violent breaking of earth would make the Uchiha looses his footing if he was caught in the range of the crater, and this is the moment Raleth would use to capitlize.

If there was no change in Zaine's behavior, Raleth extend his right hand, jump, and attempt to tag the Uchiha's core as he tried to regain his balance.

Jutsu/Skills:

Opening his eyes would reveal the sight of his long time friend and rival Raleth Sarutobi, the Ashen Haired Warrior of the renowned Sarutobi clan- he would remove his right palm from the forehead of his friend and let out a large sigh as he wiped beads of sweat from his brow with the back of his right hand. "Man! Thats a different kind of workout. I never knew placing us both in a genjutsu would be so taxing on me. But maybe it has to do with the fact that I dont utilize it too much. I might be getting a little rusty. Then again, these eyes make it much easier to allow for us to go all out in the realm of the genjutsu." The eyes of the Uchiha reflected his new transcended level of the sharingan, eyes that would never whither and carried with them the full extent of what his clan was capable of- the pattern was that of the sun with tomoe in between each ray of light stemming off from the center where an even smaller sun was held. "Maybe you could pour us up some of that tea you brought before we jump into round two? I think this next one is gonna be the real deal. Im not holding back and I dont want you to either. Lets really see what we can do now." He said with a look of sheer excitement as he waited for Raleth to grab the tea and ready himself.

Raleth feels as if he falls into his stone seat, he's once again aware of the sensation of his friend's hand on his head. He breaths heavy as a bead of sweat drips from his forehead to the side of his face, he opens his eyes and winces as his vision recognizes actual light. He blinks a few times, clearing up the blurred image of his friend and rival, the sword master and advisor to the Kazekage, Zaine Uchiha. 

He sits back and relaxes in the hand-carved seat as the red-eyed jounin comments on their imagery training, the labors of their mental exercise bear fruit in the muscles of the Sarutobi. He brings his hand to his neck and rubs away the stress of their fight.

"You're telling me," thrums Raleth's basso voice as he shakes away the after effects of Zaine's genjutsu, "had I known you were capable of such ocular illusions, I would have done away with the Light as Stone, Dense as Wood portion of your training." Raleth refers to the period of Zaine's training where Raleth had placed weight on the young boy and told him to "skip" over a raging river using the surface/water walking technique, in hopes to improve, sharpen, and build upon the boys agility. "Such a thing would've placed less strain on me, and less stress on you!" 

Raleth shifts in his seat as Zaine mentiones his improved dojutsu, their look reminds the Sarutobi of a missing ninja he brawled. "Yes, I was waiting for you to mention them. It seems you've achieved a power on level with tthe sharingan of that strange, blue-eyed Uchiha we met a ways back. Yet," Raleth again shifts in his seat, the analytical stare of Zaine's strange-pupiled sharingan makes the hairs on his body stand on end, "I sense that, with a mind like yours, your eyes are far deadlier."

Raleth grabs the black-trimmed, white-porcelain kettle of lavender-peach tea and pours it into two monkey-stamped cups at the request of his friend. He places the kettle down and hands Zaine his tea across the stone table they both sit near. As is customary, they enjoy a moment of silence as they sip their tea: basking in the serenity of a good brew. 

As raleth brings his cup down from his lips, his eyes wander to the table he sits near. He scans the monkey engravings that line its lip, and observes the Sarutobi symbol that's been carved in its center, and admires his own work. He recalls the mountain in which he took the stone from, and the many hours it took shaping and crafting it to fit his tea shop. Such things would fill him with a sense of accomplishment. Yet, as he looks to the Uchiha who quietly sips his tea, Raleth notices something that makes him pause.

Whether he knows it or not, an incredible power emanates from Zaine. When did his skill and prowess skyrocket to such a level? The sword master of Wind country had always been a fearsome shinobi, but how did he achieve such overwhelming strength? And, when did his old student become the advisor to a Kage? Inspiration's passionate flame sparks in Raleth's core, his friend's growing power motivates him.

"The real deal, eh?" says Raleth as he takes out his wood-and-jade-engraved pipe. "The shinobi world is changing. From what I hear, war once again looms over the horizon." Raleth takes out a folded piece of paper and shakes grinded petals and herbs in his bowl. "There are opponents and adversaries awaiting us, whose power we cannot guess." The Sarutobi rests his pipe in his lips and flicks his thumb, igniting a small spark of fire on his nail. He lights his petal and herb, taking a few puffs to start his bowl. "And I feel I'm not as prepared as you." Raleth takes a drag of his bowl, and lets his meaning hang between him and zaine as smoke drifts from his nose and mouth. Raleth waits for his friend to place his hand on his head, to put him under his Sharingan Genjutsu. The Sarutobi closes his eyes and feels the Uchiha's hand and feels his perception shunted to a mental scape.

Raleth finds himself 10 meters away from Zain, standing on a white-square tiled arena that is 50 by 50 meters. Spires tipped with cones sit on each corner of the arena. Green hills and valleys surround the area, pristine clouds drift above in a bright blue: casting shadows over the white-tiled arena.

The Sarutobi faces the Uchiha, he removes the kimono that hangs on his shoulders and exposes his battle-scarred and shirtless form to the sun. "Treat this battle like its my final test to you, before your chuunin exams." Zaine should remember this test, a fight to tthe near-death that took place the day before the official test, that allowed the young student of Raleth to participate in the exams. Raleth points to a scar on his neck, one given to him by Zaine on that day and smiles. "I'm going after your arms, since you went for my neck. Ready yourself."

Raleth gets into his fighting stance, facing his profile to his opopponent and spreading his legs apart. He extends his arms, and lowers his shoulde to zaine. He closes his eyes and concentrates on his chakra's natural flow. Using his own will, he forces the limiter on his brain to open and the sudden surge of chakra and force empowers his being, nearly doubling his mass and bulk. An aura of pressure surrounds the pipe-smoking Sarutobi as he actives the 1st gate of the eight inner gates, he opens his eyes and stares at his opponent as smoke steams from his nose.

In the next instant, at an enhanced speed of 125, raleth bursts forward and closes the 10 meter gap between him and Zaine. As he does, he channels crackling chakra down his arm and into his fist and reaches into his weapon pouch. Before traveling 5 meters away from his opponent, the Sarutobi cocks his arm back and release a furious punch, puncturing the air and sending a fist-sized, ash-colored blast of chakra at his opponent's core at 155 power and speed. As soon as the maneveur is released, after traveling 5 meters, Raleth would follow up by throwing a shuriken at 165 speed, aiming it so it would curve around Zain's left and be aimed for his side and would arrive at its location right after the Taijutsu Puncture reached Zaine.

With a taijutsu puncture coming at his front and a shuriken coming at his side, Zaine would need to block or dodge the attacks, as the taijutsu maneveur would be poised to shatter his core and the shuriken was ready to shred his side. And, trailing behind the fist sized blast of chakra and shuriken would be an enhanced Raleth, who waits to see what the Sword Master would do, and would be poised to alter his assault in case the situation changed.
