A Chuunin's Duty (Kenshin)

The Reaper puppets his hands into a string of signs, the eerie grace of his movements makes Raleth shift in place. Benevolent chakra flows through the Ragdoll, it coats his hands and makes it glow a calming cyan. Raleth was awed, he could feel waves of mending energy ripple from the flickering energy. Yet, something about that unnerved him. The man utilizing the jutsu, Kenshin Uzumaki, seemed to be remnicing on his mastery of the jutsu, in his glassy eyes, Raleth can see the cogs of the ragdoll's mind turn: and Raleth shudders.

What could a man like that do with such a benevolent jutsu?

Raleth peers behind the cold pupils of Kenshin, and sees something that runs a shiver down his back. The machinations of a murderer, the ingenious mind of a killer, play behind Lord First's eyes. Raleth was not a man unaccustomed to seeing such things, he has his own personal feelings on the matter. But, to see a born monster act like a saint was appalling, grotesque. Raleth waits for Kenshin to finish, he bows and excuses himself. He walks through the cold, steel doors, he leaves the morgue and walks away from the Reaper. He rushes to the entrance of the hospital, he does not even look at the attendant as he walks out.
