It was me, Ayato!

Living in the Land of Haven would be considered by some to be a dream come true. Living outside of the walls and the safety of a ninja village, made ends meet a difficult task. That is if the outlaws festering these lands did not get to you first.

Amidst the busy streets, a young man sat on a vacant bench, reading a book with a hard leather cover. His well-groomed dark hair was a major giveaway of his noble status. His white eyes were fixated on the paper his ears were alert for something or someone. Normally, a seventeen-year-old would either be going on a date with a girl their age, working, or sitting at home, but Ayato was in the middle of something of greater importance. 

His waiting was rewarded when with his peripheral vision he noticed a particular man, walking down the street who frequently glanced around. Unlike the civilians that came by, the person wore a black uniform with the badge of a white shield emblazoned into the left side of the chest. A white porcelain mask was clipped on his leather windburnt belt. He was one of the Nova Corp, the ANBU unit that in this village was labeled as the local heroes similar to those straight out of a fairytale. However, these kinds of heroes were a rare sight nowadays. And Jak Dosser was none of those. A dirty contaminated degenerate that was known for abuse of power, black market connections, and all sorts of things most missing-nin would be engaged in. 

Albeit that the one was redeemed and all his sins forgiven once he pledged his ninja services into Hoshigakure. It was Yasaki's choice for his adoptive brother.

"You reading a self-improvement book?" 

 "An autobiography of sorts," Letting out an annoyed sigh, the taijutsu specialist closed the book with a soft thud. "Reports of the last Kage Summit, just in case." 

"Regretting your decision to attend?" Asked the grizzled veteran. 

"Absolutely not." The Byakugan heir responded back. "Trying to avoid a big drama show." Albeit to match the events that occurred during that shitshow Ayato would need to make an otherworldly attempt. 

Placing the book in the storage displacement dimension, Ayato waited for the rest of his party, Yasaki and Tsubaki arrive.

Mission report:

A couple of days ago, Tsubaki was told that she would be going with Ayato on a Kage Summit he had been called to. Tsubaki was ecstatic to go. She loved the idea of being in the room where big decisions were being decided and discussed between many world leaders. The last Kage summit was years ago, while Tsubaki was still training to become a chunin. She had only heard rumors about the meeting but from how events have gone in these last couple of years, it couldn't have been good enough. Kiri taking over Konokagure in an empirical act. Kumo going through some drama with their leadership that history books wouldn't be able to teach all the students the number of leaders going down. The same could be said about Hoshi too. There was too much going on internationally that it was important to address the issues as a world. 

The day of the travel arrived and Tsubaki was ready. She could barely sleep that entire week, thinking about the Kage summit. She hoped it wouldn't affect their travels. She was dressed in her combat gear; a jonin flak and fit combat pants with bell sleeves. She wished she could dress more diplomatically like one of the kages but she was going to be a personal guard of the Hogokage and she needed to dress for the job.   

Tsubaki spotted Ayato just as he placed a book into a separate dimension. The young man was talking to an ANBU of his. She didn't recognize the other man but figured it was due to the confidentiality of the Black Ops. "Here and accounted for." Tsubaki would say warmly to the Hogokage. "Are we taking anyone else with us?"  She would stop to look at the ANBU. He was an older man that was balding (attractive). His chakra presence was impressive, rivaling her own.

No report was heard from his fellow genin who took off to someplace in the desert. Yasaki would be in connection with him with no less than three days as he assumed him to be at the location he was. If that was the case, then the older man made his move as he stacked up with what he can. Unfortunately, he wasn't attending the summit, but hey at least he can grow some flowers in hoshigakure with a couple of ninjas. Yasaki can even tag up with Orokana and become the best selling author and artist in the shinobi world. 

Yasaki made his way to the gates of Hoshi with the rest of the crew noticing three of the individuals giving them a nod. He then let a smile as he shook up his dosser clan with the dossa handsigns. The only and his ride and die, brother, Jakosaki. Yasaki approached Ayato placing his right hand on his shoulder, attempting to mutter at the current hogokage. "This all on you my friend. I'll leave the next chapter for you." Yasaki would smirk gripping both Tsubaki and Ayato heading to the destination his living clone be waiting. In a matter of seconds, both Tsubaki Ayato and Jakosaki would arrive at the gates of Sunagkaure with Yasaki.

Just as Tsubaki arrived, Yasaki arrived. The previous hogokage approached the trio. "Hey, Yasaki." She would say quickly before he would address Ayato. She grinned, thinking this would be perfect. Both Kage on the mission would allow her so much knowledge of the village and other events of the past. Unfortunately, it was only the Anbu, Tsubaki, and the current Kage that would be going. As Yasaki gripped them, they all suddenly teleported away by the Flying Thunder God Technique.

The remaining two arrived in good time. Tsunaki upon arrival asked if they were waiting for anyone else to arrive, to which Ayato confirmed they did. And before long Yasaki would make his appearance as well. After exchanging a unique handshake with his brother Jakosaki before placing his massive hand on Ayato's thin shoulder. "This all on you my friend. I'll leave the next chapter for you." The man who showed up for Hoshi during the village's darkest hour said. For that Ayato would be always thankful. Responding with a courteous nod, the Hyuuga clan lord vanished into thin air.
