Akabayashi would pay attention as his fellow clansman went off topic once again. While the ninja did go back onto topic about the voice in his head, the doctor would merely nod at his words as they did not exclude him. What the Nova wanted to say was his confrontational attitude would, but as Miyamoto had said his death would be no skin off of their backs. With an understanding like that where in success just meant the guy was free and failure meant death, it was hard to see a bad point. 

Miyamoto was a tad too confrontational for Akabayashi's liking, his demeanor would get him killed the minute he was in the coffee shop if he acted like this. He determined when he was done speaking on a subject and demanded answers as if he were in charge, all the while staring the Nova down for almost no reason. Shina who seemingly had gotten used to the inner mind of the Doctor spoke up before he got the chance to step forward and light the "kid" ablaze for his lack of respect. The details of what he was supposed to do were even unknown to Akabayashi, it seemed he wasn't brought along as a doctor but as a Jack consultant. 

Miyamoto accepted the mission with ease, but determined his life or death was up to him. So, naive those things were rarely left to the individual. With his naivety some growth seemed to come from the former hero that his families death after leaving was part of his own fault and that in the future he should try better. Akabayashi would pause a moment to speak. "Jack is a very dangerous man, if he finds out what you are doing you won't just die. He'll turn you into one of his undead puppets, still conscious but unable to control yourself. A mockery of everything I taught him." The Terumi would state before following Miyamoto and possibly Shina up the stairs. 

Once, Miyamoto was gone he would turn to Shina. "I think he is going to get himself killed in that café, if he stares down everyone he meets." The Terumi would say fixing his cloak and moving toward the guard who had been on duty, who tensed when the prisoner came up first followed by two oddly calm village higher ups. "He is released and was never here. I believe Shina has the paperwork and just needs my medical signature." The Terumi would sign the release papers and hand them back to Shina. "Hopefully, I will you soon later." Leaving her there Akabayashi would walk to his home only to find Miyamoto in it.

"Oh, fuck me you live here too." He would say with a full face palm that smashed his sunglasses against his perfect skin. "I'm going in the hot spring." He would say opening a door to the outside which steam poured from and into the house.

Shina smiled upon hearing Miyamoto's bold proclamation. It was entirely possible the kid would think the offer too good to be true and withdraw from these negotiations. But this he did no accept. The kid was willing to do the mission and refuse the pardon at the same time. Some self-actualization had come for the young Terumi, willing to live as a traitor, a shinobi who soiled his headband. If he lived anyway, there was no guarantee for that what so ever. However, to some extent, Shina respected his resolve even admired it.

"I'll give you the details soon, for now, enjoy your freedom wonderboy." The kunoichi said as she undid his chakra-nullifying shackles, infused with her own fuinjutsu formulas. The cold hard iron of the bindings meeting the dirty stone floor with a loud thud.

When the kid left Akabayashy spoke to her, giving her the observation on the patient. It seemed Akabayashi had also realized he wasn't to use his medical expertise, but also to fulfill a more strategic role for this particular upcoming S-rank mission.
"You are not wrong old friend," Shina said to Akabyashi. "But I would say that the more he acts like a missing-nin scum, the more likely he is to convince your former student he actually is one." 

They exited and met Alto the Chuunin once more. The guard of the prisoner gave an affirming nod to the Nov request. Alto claimed a very distant kinship to Ayato through their clan and bloodline however the boy kage believed he could be trusted due to that. So far so good, Shina figured. 

The fuinjutsu user was very curious to see what expression would form on Akabayashi's face when he would enter the shithole he was living in only to find Miyamoto there. "A harmless joke." Shina smiled as she had made sure not to tell either.

Miyamoto's house with the bathhouse extension had not been sold per their Kage's wishes. Shina saw no problem with that so long as its expenses came from his Hyuuga pockets. Which they did. Still, why let living quarters go to waste. Akabayashi traveled a lot more than he stayed in the village besides. Of course. he would be soon be given different quarters as the re-innovation of the big Clock tower had been almost done. A project that started when Ayato was the Nova Commander and placed on hold upon his accession to Kageship.
