Another assignment? The young wolf would put on his clothes, a loose fitting plain white shirt, a pair of dark brown breeches, and a dark cloak resting on his broad shoulders. He couldn’t help but wonder why he had been needed for the task. Perhaps it was a good word from the Nova officer known as Akabayashi Terumi, or perhaps the keen senses of the wolf were needed for whatever task was assigned to the man. The dark haired man would make his way to the gates, awaiting his handler so that he was permitted to enter into the village. The guard at the gates would hand him a think folder, the details of the mission held inside. He would lean against the wall, watching a small handful of civilians go about their day like any other. It was a good thing for all of them that the man was gaining control over that vile beast in the back of his mind, else they might not be in as good of spirits.
Well, it was about time to look over what the village wanted him to do. Was it hunting down a group of bandits, or possibly a rogue shinobi that tried to flee? Or it could just simply be some more manual labor, though he had hoped that it wouldn’t be something so trivial. The man did more than enough manual labor in his spare time. Upon scanning the documents, it would seem that his wishes were fulfilled. It was the hunting of some sort of thief, pilfering valuables in the shadows of nightfall. From what the file said at least three different shrines in three different churches were attacked, each now missing a priceless religious artifact. The man would scowl, his displeasure with this apparent. “Would this have been stopped sooner if it targeted someone other than the church?” His words would spill out with no grace nor concern for who might be listening. He knows how shinobi feel about those who are associated with the faith…
Hopefully his suspicions would not be confirmed. If there was a saving grace, it would be that he would be assigned a familiar handler. Akaboshi Uzumaki had known about the man’s curse, and what difficulties it might bring to the mission. He also knew that if it came down to it the man was more than capable of keeping the wolf at bay.

Another day, another mission that required Akaboshi's presence. Perhaps it would be strictly a coincidence but the Uzumaki couldn't help but get the feeling that with the Kage being out of the village lately more and more assignments came in. Not that it bothered him that much, it was merely an observation he made. Most of said tasks weren't out of the ordinary and usually consisted of what one could expect from a shinobi's job. Whether it be escorting, guarding, interrogating, nothing truly stood out. However, due to the missions having at least some sort of risk to them, they required a Jounin to take part, which was where Akaboshi came in.
Once the redhead finished reading the report he prepared to head out after putting on his clothes. As often would be the case he was wearing his Jounin Flak jacket with a fur collar and a white V-neck underneath. Dark blue, denim jeans held up by a simple brown belt, with a silver chain attached from the belt to his back pocket, additionally with black shoes to top off the rest of his outfit. As a nice touch and reference to Hoshigakure, the Uzumaki also wore other jewelry pieces, being a silver ring and a star-shaped necklace. As well as a piercing in his left ear, a gift from one of his closer friends.
On his way over to the village gates where he would be meeting with his partner for the day, the Uzumaki closed the door behind him. Upon arriving at the location the Jounin noticed a familiar face was waiting for him. His left hand in his side pocket while his right was covering his mouth to hide his yawn Akaboshi would address the man. "Sebastian, how are we doing this fine day?" Akaboshi then reached for his pack of cigarettes before lighting one up. "So, what can you tell me about this mission?" The Jounin of course knew all about their task, he simply wanted to test how prepared his companion was.

The dark-haired genin pondered what the outcome of today would be as a lot processed in his mind. He needed to make some more pay-check as he was starving for more. The genin of Hoshi didn't mind to hustle some more missions. But he always asked himself if he would ever take any higher tasks, which he never tried. As a genin, he only hoped that some jounin would acclimate him. The dark-haired shinkou was lying on his bed, preparing for a new start as a shinobi. He put on his most fashionable attires, eyeing the mirror in front of him.
The genin of Hoshi wearing his fathers' Cloak of the Halfdoctor, resembling just like him. It would cover his head to his feet and a mask as well. The young genin aspired to follow his father's footsteps and attend his traditions and ways, virtually. He got out of his apartment as he adorns himself to take onto an increased difficulty. The half-doctor made his way to where he would discover some missions details and that some people were expecting him in a so-call place. He made his way without any hesitations, prepared for what was going to appear.
Upon arriving, he would notice two individuals waiting around the gate. He approached to them slowly as he could, taking steps that were light. The dark-haired genin fancied to show up as if nothing had occurred. He then spoke up to the individuals asking them if this was his ordained mission.
"I guess I reached the accurate place, right? My name is Aeron Shinkou." He would say with eyes focused on both of them, waiting for a response.

It wouldn’t be long before his handler arrived, and the red haired Uzumaki quickly closing the distance from the gates to where the young wolf was located. It seemed as though the man may have been tired. He hid the yawn, and while the wolf’s nose was the most sensitive, his keen ears could still pick up the sounds of a light yawn. When asked how he was doing, the man would smile and reply, “Far better than during our last mission.” As long as he was able to hold the wolf at bay it was a good day in his books, and nobody wanted another incident like before. It is hard to track down a thief when you have to first stop a rampaging companion.
As he was readying himself to answer, a keen eye would spot the faint twitching of Sebastian Loghain’s nose, a new scent quickly making its way towards them. “Another approaches.” He would offer, unsure if the Jounin would be able to sense the newcomer. They would then introduce themselves as Aeron Shinkou, and Loghain would nod. The file mentioned there would be a third should their schedule line up, so this wasn’t entirely unexpected. “I am Sebastian Loghain, and I believe you have the right place.”
He would let the Jounin introduce himself and then continue with the briefing of the mission files he read over, “It seems as though there is a thief attacking shrines in the cover of night. Luckily nobody has been injured yet, but if I was a betting man I would say that it was only a matter of time before such an escalation would occur.” He offered the copy of the paperwork to his handler minus the map, allowing him to look over it or do with it as he pleased. “The culprit has not been seen and the only sign they were there is the missing artifact and leaving behind a fine powder. Obviously this powder cannot lead all the way to where the stolen items are, otherwise we wouldn’t be needed.”
The man would point to the three locations on the provided village map, making a circle with his finger. “The target hasn’t been spotted by anyone, so I would say that they were moving the items to a nearby safe house of some sort. Either that or,” He would then give Akaboshi a concerned look before continuing, “Or they have shinobi training. I sure hope that suspicion is wrong.” If the latter was the case, not only could the culprit be anywhere, but they may be in for a serious fight when he was found. Plus, if it is a shinobi it could spark a political issue and maybe even outright conflict. That was something the wolf didn’t want.
“Any thoughts?” He would ask his two companions for the mission.

The Uzumaki was relieved to hear about Sebastian's well-being. "I'm glad you're doing fine". It wouldn't have been that out of the ordinary if the young wolf needed some time to deal with the aftereffects of their last mission. Not everyday would you see someone shift into an entirely different being, let alone one that tried to kill his fellow villagers. Fortunately for Akaboshi and the bystanders it wasn't anything the Jounin couldn't handle. But regardless of the outcome it most likely left a sour taste in some people's mouth. There was no much use in dwelling on the past since another mission required their presence and in order to complete this one as well they had to keep their head in the game.
Taking another drag of his cigarette Akaboshi noticed another individual approaching. "Yes, seems like a rather inexperienced one" he replied as the third member of their party arrived. The boy introduced himself after asking if he was at the right place, not exactly what the redhead wanted to hear from a shinobi about to go on a mission. He'd blow away the smoke before speaking up. "I hope you read the mission details, if you did then you'd know you are where you're supposed to be". Sebastian was the first out of the two of them to present himself by giving his name in return. Once introductions were out of the way the Uzumaki figured it was his turn to introduce himself as well. "Akaboshi Uzumaki, Jounin of Hoshigakure. Perhaps you didn't notice the flak jacket representing my rank but I expect at least some form of respect when you're around your superiors". Usually he wouldn't care all that much about ranks and whatnot, but this time he needed to assert some hierarchy.
He then directed his attention towards the young wolf who had started with the briefing of the mission. "Hm, yes. It's only a matter of time before those crimes turn even more violent than they already have". Akaboshi allowed Sebastian to finish reading the mission files out loud, hoping everyone would be paying attention. "We can't rule out that possibility" he replied to the wolf's concern about the possible involvement of shinobi. "Alright, one of the returning factors of the crimes is that powder. Do we know anything more about that?" His plan was to involve the two genin as much as possible, only that way would they learn to think for themselves. They wouldn't gain anything if Akaboshi would chew everything for them, that approach wouldn't work.

The genin of Hoshi eventually appeared at the place where he met with two individuals. He always depended on his footsteps to not be heard and causally appear as if nothing happened. The man who caught him out was essentially a unique one as Aeron intended to arrive and support the lads who were doing this mission. The dark-haired genin hoped he didn't interrupt the two guys but wondered who they would be. He signed up for a challenging assignment, which he undoubtedly accepted and would not turn back. "Thanks for the warm welcome Sebastian, glad to join you guys."
The shinkou listened to what the jounin had to say, which he sensibly understood. He didn't mean to disrespect the jounin, which anyhow made a commotion out of it. By doing so, he listened to him attentively, introducing himself. The genin of Hoshi was inexperienced, while the red-haired was the key man leading this mission. He took a gaze at his jacket and let out a slight smirk nodding at Akaboshi. "Yes, I understand, sir." He meant no wrong or anything but essentially was elevated to get started either way. Once accepting the paper works from Sabastian, he would read it accurately.
He began listening to what the masked wolf boy had to say as his eyes were concentrated on the sheet of paper he collected. The genin responded to Sabastian words agreeing with him, and he executed solid points, which he acknowledged attentively. He made sure every word would not be missed by taking all the information as he could from Sabastian. He had nothing to say but to agree with both of them. "How about we go forward and get rid of the man who's behind this so we can bring him to justice already?" Aeron let out a slight smirk looking at his two peers in front of him.

When Akaboshi stated that they couldn’t rule out shinobi training, the wolf would hang his head low. There was only so much that could be done investigation wise if they used ninja magic to disappear to the other side of the world. The question about the powder would allow him to focus on something else at least for the moment. “It doesn’t give much detail regarding the powder. I am wondering if it lasts long enough for a sample to be gathered for analysis before being blown to the winds. It could explain why there wasn’t a great deal of information regarding this substance despite trained medical shinobi being abundant in the village.” Honestly, the powder was a bit strange. Was it the ‘signature’ of this thief? If so, such was immensely arrogant, the culprit almost begging to be caught. Unless the goal was to be caught in the first place, but who does a crime with the intent of being caught? It was a lot to try and wrap his head around.
Aeron would seem to be ready to get a move on. A man of action it would seem, something that Sebastian would smile and accept. It was good to see the young shinobi ready for action, but planning was important too. Knowledge is half the battle, or something like that. He would nod, and look over to their mission leader and his handler, “I don’t mind continuing discussing a plan of action as we make our way to one of these shrines. If they aren’t shinobi trained it will likely be,” He would point on the map to two different shrines that fell within his circle earlier before continuing, “one of these two.” He would shoot a glance over to the Shinkou and ask, “If this goes south, are you prepared to fight?” It was a simple question, but one that would need an answer.
If they began to make their way to the part of town this was all happening in, the wolf would ask as they walked, “How do you want to do this? We can split up to cover more ground, but…” Sebastion would give Akaboshi a look, Sebastian’s eyes clearly showing that he was reluctant to do that. He couldn’t trust that something wouldn’t trigger him if he was alone without his handler, and Aeron seemed to still be a little green to be by himself, especially if the target was a shinobi. “I leave such a decision up to you, sir.”
