The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow - Page 3 Empty Re: The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow

Wed Jun 30, 2021 11:50 am
The Ragdoll would chuckle at Noboru’s disbelief, and truthfully he couldn’t blame the man, even he with his knowledge of the Rinnegan and its power found it to be extremely hard to believe that any human could perform a feat so great as the creation of the moon. That was not the feat of a mere human… that touched upon the realm of the divine, and would take truly otherworldly power to perform. Kenshin would smile and give a small nod of agreement when the man mentioned that he would have his own villagers scholars look more into the legend of the Sage, so that Kumogakure could properly retell the lore of the Sage and The Rinnegan. For Kenshin, who above all else desired knowledge, this was a very good thing… it ensured that more knowledge was not simply lost to the ages as so much of this had. He had pieced this story together from what numbered dozens of ancient legends regarding the sage, and that had taken him a LOT of work. He had to truly dig for this small fragment of the life of the first chakra user, and so much more was lost and would never be known… It helped his mind rest easier knowing that another village would also have access to this knowledge.

When the man asked about the price of everything he wished Kenshin would smirk.

“In total it would come to 200,000 ryo, without accounting for the Hiyu organs that you want. But, since this is such a bulk purchase, I am fine with taking 50,000 off of the total price… and, since you’ve humoured my eccentricities so well during this meeting, I’ll be giving you those Hiyu organs free of charge. So, in total, a Golden Eye and an Akari Organ to go with it, two Senju, two Hiyu, three Uzumaki and three Jugo, for 150,000 ryo. Is this acceptable Lord Raikage?” The Ragdoll would ask, and provided Noboru agreed, Kenshin would proceed to procure all of the organs that the man wished for.

He would take the lungs and Liver of Jugoian, the lungs of Yoshou Senju, the left eye and liver of Symmetra Akari, the lungs of Nobunaga, and the lungs and liver of Raven Uzumaki.

With the literal pounds of flesh gathered, The Ragdoll would present them to the Raikage and his guard, allowing them to decide how they wished to transport the organs.

“Now, Lord Raikage, you wish for a Senju organ to be implanted within yourself, and for your shadow you would like Uzumaki and Jugo? It will be no issue for me to perform the procedures for the both of you, so if you’d please lie down upon the tables to the left I will begin. This shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes.” He didn’t know how skilled the Medical Ninjutsu users of Kumogakure were, so it was possible that the Raikage may doubt his claims of just how quickly he was able to perform these types of surgeries… but he was one of the most skilled Medical Ninjutsu specialists in the world, and the man would see for himself firsthand a fraction of the skill that The Ragdoll possessed in his favoured field.

The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow - Page 3 Empty Re: The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow

Fri Jul 02, 2021 5:50 pm
Kenshin’s characteristic chuckle once again travelled lightly in the room at the godhood comments from the red head, and an approving nod when the redhead made the compromise of expanding on the lore. Through his grin came the confirmation of the organ list, as well as a price tag: two hundred thousand ryo, usually, however, due to a bulk purchase, Kenshin would trim it down to one hundred and fifty thousand ryo, and include the Hiyu organs for free. Kaito tried to not waver at either mention of value; Such an amount would allow one to start a small business, maybe a medium one even. It wasn’t a value Kaito expected to deal in, and it certainly wasn’t one he expected to effectively funnel onto a foreign power. “That is acceptable, Kenshin”, he said, reflecting Kenshin’s exact question, omitting the Lord as he had asked earlier, but the smile that grew on his own face alongside the intentional curt bow when he said it should make it clear it was a very welcome deal on the part of the Ragdoll.

Kaito observed as Kenshin laid out the organs before Kaito as a skilled butcher might lay out the cuts of a ruminant. The redhead allowed his dark eye to peruse the organs, so detached from reality was he, he saw nothing in the flesh of the fallen but potential, as if these were naught but ingots of metal with alloys he knew would improve his armors. Kenshin brought the Kage back to reality. “Yes, I will take the Senju with me, no point in wasting time for it to acclimate to my body. If what you say is true, I want this power within my grasp as soon as I can.” As Ryuuzaki stepped forward, Kaito leaned against an unoccupied table, observing Kenshin go to work on his ninja. He enabled his Byakugan this time, observing how it took place. It would be the first time he would witness such a thing on someone else, since the last time he had seen how Lord Maximilian had put into him the kidney of Nobunaga, as his byakugan flared out of control and took in the sight of the entire hospital, as he now did as well. It was paramount that he and his ninja were secure while being operated on.

If everything went their way, Kaito would mimic Ryuuzaki and take off the top of his armor, to lay down and be operated on by Kenshing. “I already have one kidney and liver transplanted, and I’ve grown attached to them. I’ll let you choose my newest addition though.” He would lay back and allow the Ragdoll to operate on him.

The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow - Page 3 Empty Re: The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow

Fri Jul 09, 2021 6:18 am
The Ragdoll smirk would grow just a fraction wider as The Raikage simply referred to him as Kenshin, instead of Lord, something that he was very grateful for. Even when he was The First Kazekage he couldn’t stand being referred to as Lord… yet, his position wouldn’t really allow many to call him anything else. Since he had stepped down most within Suna still referred to him as Lord First… but he was slowly trying to eradicate that damned title from people's minds. When The Raikage and his guard both stripped their upper bodies and laid down upon the tables Kenshin would smile, before forming three simple hand seals. The Chakra Anaesthetic was a very simple technique, but it was one of the most useful to his business… shinobi were always uncomfortable being knocked out, yet most were unable to simply hold still while he was cutting them and ripping their organs out. This simple technique allowed him to perform all of his transplants whilst they were conscious and free of any pain, which in turn, typically stopped them from moving around too much.

“This technique is a relatively simple one among Medical Specialists, Chakra Anaethetic. In essense, the chakra from this technique travels to your brain and temporarily blocks off any and all sensation from your body. Near useless in combat, but very useful for performing surgeries whilst the subject remains conscious.” He would explain to both, so as to ease any concerns they may have had if they hadn’t seen the technique in action before.

Once the blue ‘flames’ of the technique formed around his fingers Kenshin would step towards the Raikage and press the chakra coated digits to the man's chest, letting them sink in a quarter of an inch, before pulling away and repeating the process to his guard. Within moments of this being done both would feel the alien sensation of being unfeeling, everything from the dull aches in their joints to the feeling of the cold morgue air, gone. The Ragdoll would, once more, form a series of hand seals, and this time upon completion his hands would be coated in an aura of chakra, quite obviously taking the form of a blade. He would start with The Raikage, who would be receiving one of the lungs he had gathered from Yoshou Senju earlier, the left specifically. He would use his Chakra Scalpel to create a large incision down the centre of the man's chest, between his ribs and slicing clean through his breast-plate. With some quick ose of his threads he would open the cavity and expose his organs to the cool air of the morgue, and with some even quicker movements his threads would surgically clamp and sever everything connecting his left lung to his body. In moments the old lung would be sitting near the pile of organs, while the new would be held in place by his threads.

The Ragdolls threads would pull the cavity closed and stitch it together, some still in place holding everything together, before Kenshin simply performed the hand seals for his Mystical Palm Aura. He would maintain the technique for a minute before retracting his threads, the hole left behind as they left his body quickly being healed behind them. Even the thread that had stitched his torso shut would have retracted, leaving no evidence whatsoever that Kenshin had cut him open and replaced one of his organs. All in all, this process took The Raggedy man four minutes.

“And there you have it Lord Raikage, one Senju lung implanted and functioning perfectly. Give me five minutes to do the surgeries for your guard.”

The Shadows Shadow was basically the same operation, as he too would be receiving a lung, but he would also be receiving the liver of an Uzumaki. This was only a couple of additional steps, and in reality, all that amounted to was a couple more threads being utilised in the operation. He would repeat the healing process once the organs were replaced, and much like The Raikage, his guard would be left completely healed and without any trace of an operation being performed within five minutes.

“And with that, you now have the Natural Berserker bloodline, as well as the bloodline of the Uzumaki clan. Use them well, as I have personal experience with both… and I assure you they will be a source of great power for you in the future, provided you use them correctly.” The Ragdoll would say with his trademark amused smirk.

“Now, to answer any questions you may have regarding the procedure. The Bloodlines may not activate immediately, simply give them time to acclimate and they will awaken within you. The threads you saw me use in the procedure are not a type of jutsu, they are a Bloodline of their own and they cannot be transplanted in the traditional sense. The technique I used to heal you both was of my own creation, but it is a technique that any Sunagakure shinobi can learn.” He would explain, initially starting with the inevitable question from the bodyguard regarding the power of the bloodlines and why he wouldn’t feel any difference now. He would also provide the two men information on the most common questions he got, aside from that, and those would be the questions about the extremely strange but undeniably effective way that he performed the surgeries. Him being a Tau gave him a truly unfair advantage when it came to medical procedures like this… but then again, his bloodline gave him a truly unfair advantage in general, so it was to be expected really. And the techniques he used… well, they were now the special techniques of Sunagakure, and that was something he was quite proud of. They were too complex to be copied by a sharingan, so he had no issue with informing The Raikage of them and their origins, or even performing them around the man.

Ryuzaki tried to make his mind wander as the operation was performed, although he could not feel any of the actions himself his body could tell that something was happening to it and he began to sweat profusely. A strange uncomfortable feeling came over his body until he was done. After the finishing touches by the Ragdoll were complete Ryu stood back up and got off the table, reaching for his flask of water that he kept in his pouch, he drained the whole thing and then turned back to Kenshin, he bowed deeply. "Thank you for your services, Lord Kenshin," The Nara said in a respectful tone. He then dressed again and prepared to leave the hospital when Noboru and Kenshin had completed their business.

The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow - Page 3 Empty Re: The Ragdoll and the Wraith's Shadow

Sat Jul 10, 2021 5:51 pm
Wary as he may have been, he had to trust the silver haired monstrosity to perform this procedure. He performed a few handseals, and he was taken aback to that hospital room where Maximillian had first operated on him, implanting him with the Sharingan and the Byakugan, the bloodlines of the fallen reaped by Nobo’s own hand. Kenshin’s fingertips sunk into his naked chest, the anesthetic travelling through his body and numbing him to the sensations of the world, the privation causing him to feel as if he were floating and he had to fight the urge to adjust his position to reflect on what he was feeling, as any motion could result in accident.

No pain was felt as Kenshin expertly sliced through skin and cartilage, expertly breaking open the ribcage, and to Kaito’s surprise, from a thousand threads within Kenshin, one came in to hold Kaito’s lung still. His breathing became shallow, as if his lung capacity had been halved, and to be fair, that it did, with Kenshin’s tendril sealing away the lung that Kenshin was about to collect. Shame Kaito bore no natural gifts that the lung could assist Kenshin with, unless 20 years of cigarette damage to the lung tissue was something he was interested in. The new lung was brought in, and stitched together with the threads, before the entire rib cage was put back together. Kenshin started to weave handseals, but for a moment Kaito was worried, as the threads were still holding Kaito together; not long after, the healing aura enveloped the two, and the healing process began. As it did, the threads retracted, leaving behind a tiny puncture that soon after closed. Kaito was able to observe this through the all seeing white eye, with some morbid curiosity mixed in with paranoia about what might happen now that he was at his most vulnerable. Yet, Kenshin was as professional as he could hope for any medical ninja of the Kumogakure to ever become. Kenshin asked for a moment to handle his shadow, and Kaito knew better than immediately move, instead allowing his new lung to adapt to the new place in the universe: once dead, yes, but preserved throughout time, and now given a new chance at living through Kaito. Mayhaps one day it would live on inside someone else. Power is a rare currency, and being rich in it wasn’t a guarantee of lasting success in this world. Once Kenshin was about done with Ryuuzaki’s operation, Kaito moved out from the hard bed and stood straight, his chest clean and scarless. Kaito began to put the armor back on, as Kenshin explained to Ryuuzaki how he himself possessed the bloodlines now within his bodyguard. A peculiar indication of Kenshin’s style, considering he would also harbor Senju DNA, and the Uchiha’s.

He heard in earnest the explanation as Kenshin spoke it. It was a trained speech, one he was clearly used to giving to his customers. “Shame”, he started, “would’ve been a neat technique to get my hands on. Well, not mine, I suck at this medical business… which is why I resort to professionals.” Kaito snapped his fingers, and an ice box came up, along with his wallet, popping on top of the metal table behind him close to the organs. First things first, he went through the wallet, pulling out the paper tender currency and adding his own funds to the payment. “...hundred twenty, hundred thirty, hundred forty -- one hundred and fifty thousand ryo.” He sunk his wallet into his pocket for the moment, adjusting the money to make sure it looked professional, before handing it over to Kenshin. He would then start to pack organs onto the cooler, making sure they were neatly stacked. Ichigo would have to sort through them later on to figure out how to keep them in the hospital. Hopefully this wouldn’t contaminate them… or whatever…

He snapped his fingers again, one last time, and the objects disappeared. He would turn to the silver haired youth. “Kenshin, I gotta say, this was a lovely afternoon. Thank you for your business. If you ever find yourself wanting to meet up with Kutari, or want to see how Kumo turned up after your unwitting help, feel free to visit us. Big mountains, hard to miss.” He would extend his hand to Kenshin, as a sign of respect for the man, and if he accepted it, he would shake it firmly but without trying to crush his hand. He would then make way towards the door, before turning around and stating “oh yeah, one more thing. I wanna fight you. Not, maliciously, just, a fight. I want to see how I would hold my own against the man who kept me from sleeping for a few months back in the day. Maybe when I’m not the Raikage. Maybe when the times are more… peaceful. Have a good day, Kenshin.” And with that, he would turn his back on a hopefully still grinning Kenshin, and make his way out of the hospital.
