Dog Walker (forumotion.com)
On his continued quest to get more credit and responsibility in the village, Zaibatsu was currently in the mission area, talking to a cute little woman at the front counter, looking through the available E ranked missions that he was eligible to do. There were quite a few of them, but Zaibatsu didn't want to pick a mission that didn't interest him at all, so he was a little more selective in his missions that most genin that would just do whatever they could. That wasn't to say that he refused to do the grunt work, in fact, the grunt work that required nothing but big dumb strength was something that he excelled at, and so he was looking for something like that. Zaibatsu came across a mission that was for walking a bunch of dogs at a local shelter why the staff members of the shelter cleaned it out, and this seemed perfect for him, as he liked animals as much as the next person, and with his bulky frame, it could be said that he was perfectly suited to take a bunch of dogs out on a walk with him, as they would not be able to run around and cause a bunch of trouble. Zaibatsu nodded and chose that mission, thanking the woman behind the counter. "Have a nice day." the woman would say as Zaibatsu walked off, to which he nodded and waved a hand over his shoulder at her like he usually did, before exiting the building.
He then started walking down the street with the mission slip in his hand, heading towards the shelter. He wondered how a shelter could get that dirty, but then again, a large number of animals running around in one place was bound to get the place dirty, especially if the people were good animal handlers and let them run around outside. Zaibatsu had a few hunting dogs in his tribe when he was younger, and they rolled around in the dirt and mud any chance they got, so he could imagine the horrors that a large group of dogs could bring to a building that wanted to remain clean. Zaibatsu made his way to the animal shelter, and walked to the front counter. "Hey, I'm here to do this mission." he would say, handing the slip over the counter to the man that was behind it. The man looked at it for a brief moment, before smiling and handing it back to Zaibatsu. "Yes, the wing for dogs is down that hallway. Just show the slip to the worker there and he'll set you up with the dogs to walk." The man said courteously, while pointing down a hallway that led to another part of the building. Zaibatsu headed down the hallway after taking his mission slip back, and then met another man that was there.
Zaibatsu could hear a large number of barks and some excited whimpering from this wing, and also looked around at the large number of dogs, especially when they had a massive amount of variety. Zaibatsu was used to hunting or shepherd dogs, so he was confused as to what could happen to dog breeds that would squish their face and make it harder for them to breathe, which also made him slightly feel bad for them. Still, they seemed to at least be happy, so he handed the slip to the worker, and the worker looked at it before nodding, and then he started to take some dogs out of their pens, situating them with a leash. After he had about eight dogs on leaches standing around in a group, he handed the group of leashes to Zaibatsu and started to explain. "Alright, it should only take around fifteen minutes for us to clean this place, so be back around then. Also don't be afraid to slightly pull their leashes if they're getting a bit rowdy, although they've never bitten anyone before, it's better to make sure." the man explained the basics to Zaibatsu, before letting him leave with the dogs on the leashes. They all seemed very excited to get out and go for a walk.
Zaibatsu was immediately heading for a park, so that they could get a bunch of exercise walking or jogging around the park, and noticed that the group of dogs was having a hard time staying together, since different breeds had different energy levels. some of the dogs simply wanted to walk around, but some of them wanted to run, pulling on the leash excitedly. Zaibatsu was making sure to hold the leashes firm, so the dogs eventually calmed down a bit and were walking normally towards the park, but once they got there, he started jogging a bit, which let them run around. After doing this for the allotted time, Zaibatsu noticed that they were all panting, but still had an excited look on their faces, or at least Zaibatsu thought they did. They were all lying down and relaxing in the shade for a couple of minutes, before he took them back to the shelter, which looked much better than before. The people there signed his mission slip and then bid him farewell.
