Today Hafuma was sweating profusely despite the cool misty air of Kirigakure around him, it wasn't that he was hot or anything of the sort but today's objective to get more money was probably one of the more intense ways of earning a living under the eye of the public, yes, Hafuma was going to fight in the Arena today, a place created by the second Mizukage, Hafuma paying respect by participating in the event as a Genin Shinobi of the village.

He had no idea what opponent he would be faced with today, no knowledge of their skill sets or styles, he was going in blind. Although he didn't want to, he could not stop but questioned if the jutsu he's been learning would be effective against another powerful Shinobi, would he be fast enough? perceptive enough? He wondered yet he did not know, but he would soon find out.

Walking through the crowds Hafuma nose was assaulted with various food smells, he wanted to eat but he resisted as he had eaten less than a hour ago and he wanted to be as light as possible for his fight, he could eat later to recover, win or lose. Walking some of the crowds began to take notice of him as he avoided the food stands, Hafuma was ready as he was armed with two black steel Tantos, his new outfit woven with light metal making it far more durable than his old one and providing some level of protection as his suit included his mask that covered the lower part of his face, Shinobi headband tied to his right arm as he headed to the stadium to begin.

Finally Hafuma walked towards an area devoid of most people, a few of the stadium workers directing him to the field, he could hear the numerous voices of the people that came to watch him and another shinobi fight in combat, he couldn't deny watching a good fight was an amazing experience, he just hoped he could match his opponent.

"Hafuma Pendragon, it's time to go out for your rights." One of the workers close by said, Hafuma nodding as he stood up, his Tantos secured to his hip with a rope belt allowing him to quickly pull them out at a moments notice, his pouch full of weapons. Walking out the once shaded part of the stadium he was in was overcome with light almost blinding him for a minute as he walked towards the center of it, an unfolding amount of people watching him as he walked out onto a Sandy beach, surrounded by water peering to the other side to see who he would be facing.

Ban had been waiting for a moment like this ever since she was a little girl watching the blood games. She wanted to know what it was like to get watched by hundreds of people, betting to see which shinobi would win. It was an extreme sport where a lot was at stake, including your life. Of course, that was before the safety mode made it where people wouldn't get killed from these fights. It was one of the changes implemented after the reign of Xyxer by the second Mizukage, Kizmaru Senju.

Another change was the stadium itself. This new stadium had different forms it would take. The one Ban would be fighting on was called Heaven and Hell. She didn't know what exactly to expect from the arena or this fight but she was excited to find out.

Ban would get directed onto the stadium by a couple of the officials as it was her turn to go on the field. She wore her Kiri Correction and Detention Armor and held the helmet in her hand. She also had her odachi, Wave Slicer, on her back. The Hozuki's heart pounded with adrenaline as she walked out onto the neutral stadium to face her opponent. Her opponent, Hafuma Pendragon, was a small boy with light blonde hair and faded green eyes like dusty emeralds. On his belt were a pair of tantos. Once they were in place, Ban would place on her helmet and get ready to fight.

The neutral part of the stadium was 50 meters in diameter. With Ban being placed on one end of the neutral ring and Hafuma being placed on the other, the two would be spaced out 40 meters from each other at the very start. Both would be 5 meters from the exact edge of the neutral ring of the stadium. Once they were in position, the stadium switched into the Hell and Heaven form. On Ban's right (Hafuma's left) would be the arid desert and on the other side would be the tropical end. A sudden intercom would come on.

"Harfuma Pendragon vs Ban Hozuki. Your match will begin in 5...4...3...2...1...Fight!"

Ban would draw 4 legacy shurikens (75 health), 2 in each hand, from her weapon pouch and move towards Harfuma. After moving toward him for 15 meters or until she was 25 meters from Harfuma, she would launch the 2 legacy shurikens in her right hand at Harfuma's chest.

Stepping out the field is not set up yet as he instead walked onto what seemed to be a circle of neutral material that was distinctly different from the rest of the field Hafuma could easily see. Further ahead his opponent walked towards the neutral ground urging Hafuma to respond in kind as he began making his step to it, like dusty emeralds Hafuma looked up at his opponent, Ban Hozuki. Hafuma didn't know a thing about the clans of these lands, who was superior, who wasn't? Those things didn't matter now, each step he took his nervousness began to fade as his alertness kicked in, ready for his first real taste of battle.

Stepping into the neutral ring Hafuma stopped five meters from the edge as she did, between them a total of forty meters and it was only then the field around them changed into the heaven and hell landscape he expected, Hafuma peeking around just taking a moment before the countdown started. As the announcer hit 2 Hafuma spoke,

"It's a pleasure."

Was all Hafuma said as the battle began in earnest, the armored Shinobi in front of him running, however Hafuma noticed they were not terribly fast but he had no idea the kind of jutsu they possessed. Straightening up Hafuma watched as his opponent started with them taking out what appeared to be four shuriken. Forty meters..thirty five meters… thirty meters Hafuma counted and then they made their move, twenty five meters of distance between them, she used two of the initial shurikens, the two deviating slightly in path but on a course for his chest as his leg muscles tensed.

Immediately Hafuma leapt to the right, his leap not going any further back or forward but in a semi circle like fashion no more than a half a meter above the ground leaping at a tilting angle, maintaining the same twenty five meter distance but allowing him to evade the shuriken by being somewhat to their left side even taking account the slight path deviation.(65 speed vs 97 +15 reflex speed) Landing back on the ground Hafuma immediately leapt again, right hand going into his weapon pouch as he thought this was the testing phase between them as Shinobi.

While his first leap had been only half a meter he used his building momentum to take a several meter leap this time circling the opponent fully around their back as he circled around them leaping in a larger half circle of about ten meters distance, throwing a shuriken of his own in a flick fashion two meters into the air aimed at their chest(48 sharpness, 88 speed, 80 health). At the height of his leap several meters Hafuma spun upside down and counterclockwise, using his own body as a blind spot he managed to grab a Kunai(48 sharpness, 88 speed,100 health), using spin rotation to throw it at the opponent from the air going at a downward angle, this one not aimed at their chest but the left leg, they weren't too fast so if he could cripple them his speed advantage would become larger as he adjusted himself during his fall to land back on his feet

The match would begin with an exhilarating rush. The present crowd would cheer after the announcer made his call and the two would make their first moves. Ban remembered the crowds being much bigger as a kid but it could be a lower turnout because the two were only genin rank. There tended to be higher turnouts at the stadium matches when the shinobi battling were higher ranks.

After Ban launched her first two shurikens, Harfuma leaped only half a meter to Ban's left once the shurikens were 15 meters away from him. Ban was 20 meters at this time as she was still moving after she threw her shuriken. This would get him out of the way of the shuriken with impressive speed. After performing his first jump, he would perform another jump. Ban would notice this change in direction and adjust accordingly. Harfuma launched a shuriken 2 meters into their climb, 18 meters from Ban. The Hozuki would start to move towards Hafuma's landing spot in his trajectory 10 meters in front of Ban (since the leap was only a 10-meter half-circle that would end in front of Ban). At the start of her track, Ban would put away her two other shurikens and then weave Dragon-Bird-Dog-Bird-Dog for Great Arm Techinque. This would bulk up Ban's legs and cause her speed and strength to increase (Speed: 100, Strength: 150). Harfuma would also perform some sick air stunts in the air and throw a kunai after 7 meters of his jump when Ban was 8 meters away from Ban.

Once the shuriken came to Ban, she backhanded the shuriken with her right hand, causing the shuriken to fly off to the right. Again, when the kunai came Ban just knocked it off to her right side ( Damage: 75) Her armor would protect her hands from any damage (health: 100)

Ban would be able to reach the projected landing spot of Hafuma's leap should he continue once he landed. Ban would then have her right arm bulk up from the Great Arm technique and attempt to punch Hafuma (damage: 150/2=75). This would cause Hafuma to get hit in the abdomen, knocking the wind out of him and get knocked back 10 meters

With the crowd already so thin sue to the hype between two Genin usually not of anyone keen interest the crowd began to thin out more as some began to leave, the so called experts or the ones that believed to be the ones that could predict the course of the fight left as the Hozuki girl flicked Hafuma projectile away, leaving him wide open.

Hafuma believed his opponent speed to be lacking compared to his making him believe he had the advantage, unfortunately he was greatly mistaken in his initial intuition, a moment that was a bit crushing as it had guided him well for as long as he could remember.

Semi-cirling Ban, Hafuma had leapt into the air throwing a shuriken eighteen meters away from them. Eye on the prize Hafuma watched as Ban began running toward him as he spun in the air, losing sight for only a moment he wouldn't miss how their body grotesquely had muscles pump through her body underneath the armor, clearly growing in size as Hafuma watched how that technique made them faster, Ban was going to close in before he could land safely!

Hafuma did what he had to do, now with Ban only eight meters away from him and him still being seven meters into the air still Hafuma body began to lighten midair, the descreasement of his fall dropping by more than a quarter matching the speed of which Ban was coming(drops his fall speed to 90) adjusting his fall speed as he was now five meters from the ground while Ban was four meters away from him time moving slowly for him and sweat rolled down his head. At this point his free right hand reached into his weapon pouch as he pulled out the string attached to a smoke bomb slowing his fall speed even more as he hit two meters and Ban was but three now(Slows his fall speed to 75).

With his right hand he whipped out a smoke bomb as he twisted his leg at a sixty five degree angle while he also let some of the string slide in between his fingers to adjust the smoke bomb right under his foot and then let go as he slowed his fall speed all the way( fall speed becomes 1 at this point) as he fell to a single meter above the ground, Ban equally away from him by a meter as her fist reeled for a punch as he kicked off the smoke bomb in a backflip fashion launching himself another seven or eight meters away and allowing his weight to return moments before her fist could connect, his own kick causing the smoke bomb to blow in front of her face causing a cloud of grey almost blacken smoke to erupt around them in a three meter radius as Hafuma kick off allowed him to exit the cloud, landing on his feet again safely hopefully, his eyes already changed as he activated DracoSight(stage 2) eyes turning a shinier emerald with black dots around his pupils as they slit and his perception of reality changed around him to see Ban through the cloud of smoke, their chakra blue in color, water nature. It would be bad if he ran into the oasis!

Landing on the ground Hafuma would try to run around and circle back to the earthen side of the field, running full speed to the desert but grabbing his Kunai on the way.

Just as Ban was getting ready to connect her fist to Hafuma, he was able to change the speed at which he was falling, causing it to appear as if he was floating. With this, Hafuma would drop a smoke bomb and kick it, causing the smoke bomb to burst right away. Ban couldn't afford to be blinded for a moment and quickly dashed to the right 4 meters (reflex speed +30). After reaching 4 meters, Ban would notice Hafuma doing a backflip in the air, he was about 3 meters in his jump, making him 4 meters above the ground. The maximum of his arc in the air was 8 meters above the ground. Ban would quickly move alongside Harfuma's movement with her leg's still bulging from her clan's enhancing technique. During her movement, Ban would draw her weapon, Wave Slicer. Once Harfuma landed, Ban would be 3 meters from Harfuma. She would bring down her Odachi and clash with the ground, causing the earth to rumble in a wave from her location (speed: 70 power: 70 range: 12m). If hit by the technique, Harfuma would be launched only 5 meters in the air but take the debuff of 40 to speed and strength.

After releasing her Earth Shaker technique, Ban would run up towards Harfuma and jab with her odachi (power: 60). This some damage to Harfuma if it were to hit.

After both the techniques, Ban's swolness would die down, causing her enhancer to go into cooldown.

With each meter Hafuma descended back towards the ground he was also a meter closer to Ban that was running towards him, a mixture of panic and his own training he began to move but not without the look of nervousness as he slid out the smoke bomb.

Like he planned he was able to kick off the smoke bomb before Ban fist connected allowing him to move back several meters. Since Hafuma was using his clans dojutsu he was watching them the entire time so as they ran to the right trying to escape the smoke bomb Hafuma simply chose to go to the left and continued circling around(Hafuma has +25 Reflex speed and upon talking to Ban she realized she made a mistake and only has +5 reflex speed making the actions of her post mute to me as the positioning was wrong).

Circling around the other hand to grab his kunai from earlier Hafuma upon grabbing it turned back towards Ban, their speed nearly equal to his still and he knew he couldn't just straight out run them. So, using his other hand he wrapped a explosion tag onto the kunai he grabbed, if Ban was closing in on him again or if they were within ten meters Hafuma threw the kunai and prematurely exploded it as it got within a meter of them before they could try and flick it away but if not he would simply put it back in his weapon pouch to use for later.

Harfuma was quick, Ban couldn't deny it. If it weren't for Ban's clan technique that allowed her to boost her speed and strength, Harfuma would be running circles around her. But the speed that wasn't met without power meant nothing to Ban. Based on how she was able to swat away his kunai and shuriken, it was a for sure sign that her strength was much higher than his and that if she were able to land a hit on him, it would be devastating.

Due to Harfuma's quickness and lightness skill, he was able to hover above her most of the fight. After dodging Ban's attempts to hit him, Harfuma would leap backward off the smoke bomb and throw an explosive kunai at Ban. The Hozuki wasn't fast enough to dodge it, she would have to tank it. She braced for the impact by covering her face with her armored forearms. Once the explosion went off, Ban was able to hold herself steady in the shockwave. She only felt the heat from the explosion but none of the pain. Ban's strength and armor once again showed their superiority.

Suddenly the ground under her would feel uneasy and started to crack. Ban wasn't sure if that was something Harfuma did but it would suddenly cave in. A small crowd gasped as Ban fell into the stadium!

"H-hold on folks, just some technical difficulties." The announcer studdered in a hurry.

The hole traveled about 20 meters deep. It was a hollowed-out area under the arena where the other parts of the arena were stored. Ban would fall down the entire way without much of a way of recovering. She would hit the bottom of this area on her back. The armor would absorb most of the damage but it would still knock the wind out of Ban. She laid at the bottom of the hole for a second as she recovered. Some workers that were down there quickly grabbed Ban and helped her up and supported her as they took her to the locker room where she could be examined by the medical staff. Due to the incident counting as a KO for Ban as she had technically been knocked out of the arena, Harfuma would win.

Ban sat in the locker room stripped of her armor. She turned out to be fine and would've been able to continue if the fight would've continued. However, the crowd had already left, making it not make much sense for the arena to continue their fight. The Hozuki sat disappointed in the situation and stared at her sword. Would Ban would've won if this fight would've been normal? Or was Ban just never going to succeed? Ban- the eternal genin. Ban would return home after the disappointing match. She laid down in her bed and thought to herself about all the failures she made. But then she thought about how much she's gotten done. She was still young there was no reason for her to give up. Ban would just work harder and try again.
