Mission
It was time Rune had finally been given some free time with Travin gone off with the Mizukage he had been temporarily been put in charge due to his ability to communicate with Travin over long distance. Between running the Rentei affairs and taking care of Village work for Travin and the Mizukage Rune had not had any time for himself in a while. Until today, the office was cleaned and spotless and all the paper work had been ordered, and Bruce was handling the Rentei business for him today. He was going to actually get to get some work done for himself since the two left the village for that meeting. He had picked out a few missions that he didn’t mind doing as he was not getting paid to deal with all of this, and was ordered to do so by Travin the head of the clan. Granted, it was a big show of trust and responsibility given to him, he would still have liked some money for it.
O well, he thought to himself as he walked into the building, a tiny old man stood next to a conveyor belt. “Welcome, welcome, come on over here” he said waving for Rune to make his way over. To which the young man agreed and walked over. “I’m assuming your here to help with the salt, right” he asked. Rune just gave him another nod as the man gently pulled him over to the belt. “The bottles come down the line and stop on this here plate” he pointed to a metal plate in between the two belts. “Salt falls out of here and goes into the bottle once that is done you simply place the bottle on the next belt, and it will go on down the line to be boxed” he told Rune.
“Sounds simple enough” Rune replayed before stepping up to the plate and started to slide bottles of salt onto the other belt. The old man stood and watched for a few seconds before moving on. Rune slide bottles for probably an hour, board out of his mind and thinking that it was worse than Travins meeting he had been dealing with lately. After another hour, the old man showed back up and yelled out to go pack the bottles at the end of the line, and he could leave. Rune looked at the old man and blinked a few times, while in his head he was screaming at the old man. He was fast enough that he could have been packing the salt bottles up while moving. Before he turned to walk to the end of the line, he swore he saw a smile break out on the old man's face.
Rune arrived at the end of the line and there was a truck parked backed up to the belt and a box of salt bottles. Rune started picking up salt bottles and placing them into creates before putting them on the back of the truck. It took him another hour to finish, and the entire time he was cussing, the old man silently within his own mind.
