It's Wine O'Clock

Kana took the bottle of liquor that Mikaela offered her. The smell of the liquor was so faint, almost nonexistent. That was when Kana knew she was well along the path of being drunk. That and when her cheeks started to tingle with numbness, which was beginning to take place as they followed Mikaela to his home. She took a swig from the bottle before handing it back. “Mighty fine drink.”

The red haired lass welcomed the cold air as it cooled her down. She noticed that intoxication had raised her body temperature quite a lot, so the sharp temperature outdoors was soothing. The trip to Mikaela’s homestead wasn’t exactly a quiet one. There was a moment where Kana Mi couldn’t help but chime with some soft giggling as she experienced the noisy display of the other two drunks.

When they came to their destination, Kana noted the size of the place. It was the perfect size for one person, with a nice appearance to it. She wondered to herself if Mikaela lived alone. Or if he had any family whatsoever. Upon their entrance, the lit fireplace gave a welcoming warm, and comfortable atmosphere. The crackling of flames in the background was a nice touch. “What a beautiful place Mikaela.”

Kana took a seat on the small couch, along with Katsuragi. Her body was turned more towards the two to make it easier to give them her attention. The size of the couch somewhat forced the trio party to be close together. When the time came for Katsugi to discuss the rules of the card game, Kana didn’t mind listening to it. Even if she was already somewhat familiar with the game. She waited to see what Mikaela’s response to the game would be and waited if either of them would offer to go first. The woman had a habit of allowing others to act first in certain situations. “Does Mikaela have any bottles hidden away for special occasions?”

In the midst of having a good time, Katsuragi readying to play one of his favorite games with the group, he regrettably realizes that he had to leave. The devil was always busy, he thought to himself. What he failed to remember earlier was that he was suppose to meet with a group of unusual suspects to discuss transporting goods via a secret route. There was no way he could do business the next day after playing a game such as ring of fire. Last time he tried to do business after a game of ring of fire did not go so well. 

Thus, he gives his regards to the known company present. “Damn, I gotta go. Gotta deal with some shit, but hey! Ya’ll be good, ya hear?”, looks casually towards kana, taking in one last good look; he also takes in Mikaela’s too. He sure wish he could’ve stayed longee. The kinda of fun all three of them could’ve had would have been out of this world. But, you can always get what you want. A hard truth that cut deep into Katsuragi as he turn towards the door.

Katsuragi is now seen leaving the house out the same door they all entered from. Tanbogakure was sure filled with some interesting people.
