The archer VS The noblest bloodline

Kota did some stretches and checked his equipment. He was excited about his chance to fight a life and death battle. Well some approximations of it. He was taking time off from shinobi duties to check on his ailing mother. This was the first time in a bit that he was taking the chance to battle. Kota entered the simulator without an ounce of reluctance. He closed his eyes and let himself be transported to the battlefield.

Kota awoke to the site of a beach. The place looked to be like a beach. Kota could see some trees to one side and an endless ocean on the other. It made him feel a little uneasy. He had not seen that much water since he traveled through the Land of Water hunting sea serpents. Looking up Kato can see a little timer ticking down. He tried to move but was unable to when the time hit zero, Kota could feel control of his entire body.

Kota started running towards the beach. His bow hooked on his quiver with his arrows leaving both hands free. Dog - Bird - Hare - Monkey - Horse performing the needed hand seals with both hands, Kota entered the tropical paradise. In the direction of which he saw the timer. He was moving as fast as he could as carefully as he could. He took his bow down and knocked an arrow. The blood of an experienced hunter ran through him as he moved, and looked for signs of the enemy.

Kota felt when the presence had entered his range before he even saw it. He was making use of his experience as a hunter and his ability as a sensory ninja. He hesitated to shoot as soon as he knew he was there. The archer decided on trying to get closer. When Hinoishi slapped the ground he knew he was discovered. The chances of a person activating a jutsu that made a ring with him inside by accident was too much of a coincidence. Kota was upset with himself that he missed his first chance.

Canceling the jutsu, Kota pointed his bow at a specific pillar. The entire time Kota was able to keep track of Hinoishi by tracking his chakra signature. When the young mage appeared at the top of the pillar Kota was ready. His arrow was released before Hinoishi could jump. It was poised to strike the shinobi before he could reach the ground. Kota would not be able to control where the arrow hit him, only that it did if the man could not dodge mid air.

Even when hit, Kota could not and would not stop the shinobi from diving underground. Kota would swing his bow over his back before the arrow even finished traveling though. He performed the hand signs for the samurai saber technique with his left hand, while reaching into his pouch with the other. Grabbing a kunai and an explosive tag. The element of surprise was lost so close quarters fighting may work best for him. The explosive tag was placed on his body.

Kota had set up an obvious trap. He could sense the young one even when he moved underneath him. He had read up on hiding like a mole in the encyclopedia. It was a shame it did not hide chakra with it. The entire time Kota did not even have to see his opponent. Just sense where he was with his chakra sensory skill.

Calling a hit on Hinoishi as he was falling. It would be an arrow traveling at 140 while he was falling. The impact force being 75 that would be taken from his health.

Hinoishi waits and takes a deep breath, he closes his eyes for a moment and when he opens them back up and finds himself in the transition room. in a panic Hinoishi accepts his defeat and grabs a sheet of paper lying around and writes, for Kota, "I'm sorry Kota I was booted from the simulation" I hope we can try this again sometime". Hinoishi leaves it on the transmission console and leaves.

Kota did not aim well but was glad the arrow hit. The arrow managed to hit the neck of the young Uchiha, taking him out while his eyes were closed. The simulation ended with a win for Kota. It was a small victory for the archer but worked enough for him. He exited the machine and read the note. He found it funny that the red eye ninja thought they won. He exited the simulation room as well. Kota had too much to do and could not afford to waste time waiting around.
