a simple lecture in dectection

After a simple quiet night of  merely setting up his small little test for the suna shinobi whom would heed his request, zaled quietly woke up to the cool early morning breeze. The desert area with a moderate climate control for enhanced comfortability was a marvel. However the man could not just folly on simple mamners. His meal was simple army rationlike mush as he had to revert himself a little back to his drilling days. The times as a knight were further back by the second and he kept to his core principles then as he does now. 

The crux is infomation, not simple as it is commpm betwern a step, breathing, heart rate, and even stress, but vital infomation is the case. ill prolly after this lesson returnbto Arubboth to grab a fine wine or meal, but aside that it will be very unfortunate if the genin here are unable to grasp even the basics. as itll reduce any hazards from a mission signifigantly.

zaled thought as he munched on the pasty grainy substanuntill his fill, and headed off towards the training ground as the sun rose. He was not bothered by the shinobi tracking him,but was subtly aware that even in the empty areas the cautious plain observations of higher ups, prolly set up as they were attentive as he moved causally moving through the paved roads as he set about to the training field. 

It was sufficent to say and held many nesscecities from access to natural elements, to plenty of room. But this was not important. As these were not going to be used to fire at people, but as examples of what is needed to be observed. 

A few hours later and a make shift sign up for the lecture was up with zaled maintaining a position near a tree resting under the shade.

A single studdnt arrived, granted he could feel them arriving as he rubbed a little spare butter on some of the left over bread he scavenged from Arubboth, A sweet honey infused butter,which was delicious. it rejuvenated his love of many things. However The girl as he figured,glancing at her figure decending with a lovely fan, nothing he has not been shocked to see, but otherwise pleasent to observe. Her landing was a show of theratics and well stylized. 

Now zaled glanced her over,  as she introduced herself. and with considering glance not at the mere simple descriptions of an normal person. The posture spoke many things that words could not. He took tge last bite and smiled at the girl. He demeanor despite her appearance short, navy blue kimono which would easily be confused as a nightgown or over grown showl. But it meant not  much. She heeded the call and it was impressive, but likewise he would not accept interruptions mid lesson either. 

"pleasure ms sumiko,and no need to apologize pushing around nature,it will outlast us."

his voice held a layer of an accent,granted he was speaking naturally, and so his mix between a northwestern based induvixual, and a mix of what he used in the islands and his adaptation was apparent. But distinct enough to make it difficult to pin point where and how he came about. In regards his elagant former casual wear of the robes and a flak jacket flashing well underneath it but almost intergrated. he motioned to the young lady to take a seat as he took a swing of water.

his conditions were clear but spoken softly. It was a simple test of info gathering at momentary details, and understanding their connection to whom they were in regards to. The smallest bits people only take as granted white noise like details were the goal, xue to the lecture and lesson at hand. This was of course zaleds ultimate goal,and the key to graspimg the technique he will teach. But one would have to understand the basic premisis behind it of course

zaled dmiled at her response, it was intuitive, and to the normap person it seemed nothing specia. A pointless guess my test, but it showed zsled the depths of the girl's ability to glesn, snd intuistically take even the most cryptic of infomation, and make it come at a moments notice.

As such you know the importance of sensory at  its core. It is infomation on the given place, circumstamce, and induviduals. However tell me sumiko what is missing in your sensory arsenal?"

an honest question as it required the girl to reasscess herself, Indeed the way to improve was anything but simple, people have fsllen short, and although he did not see it he was sure the girl's  recent endevor shook her to improve. It was nothing short of what made it more important to on defeat to reassxess tge senario at hand, Besides the girl was very intuit to this, it meant that if she could figure him to a degree, she could find the flaws within her approach.

This was good, and unlike many before through his instruction, the girl sumiko took her time and gleamed. It wasright in zsleds case to ask this question as to understand what one truly needed, they had to understand what was lacking at its foundation. However it did not take her as long as he figured, it also to his joyful surprise and netted sumiko a proud smile at her answer.

" very good, This is arguebly one of the most basic, but crucial detail to take. One can see a fire jutsu, see a specialist in action, we can further understand thoughts, intentions, and yes goals, but capeabilities was anything short to impossible at times. zaled stated as he pulled out two sets of ink and a brush. This was a simple note with a blank scroll he spread over the grass, and simply looked at the girl.

"now your task is to guess exactly this, and understand why i tell you to work on this. Before you write i need you to look me over carefully. Study. at your best guess my physical capeabilities, with my strength, my chakra quality, my physical speeds, and how much reserve i may posess. To understand either off a glance is a testament go your ability to detail. But before you earn the tool i will teach you to a much higher degree in order to understand what you must grasp."

zaled spoke as he with his full speed, but natural care reached into his  flak jacket producing a tiny pebble that accumilated on his trip to the desert village,he flickex it at the far end of the scroll and it rollled off the  partchment creating a tiny hole.

" focus on the details, and tell me your best guess how fast was that pebble thrown, write it in and relax. It is ok to be incorrect,but more important to notice what it meant. could you have avoided it? if it was a shruiken would the info matter? what are you lacking before you look at this, and after."

zaled was impressed with hwr answer, a nigh inpossible task for the mostvtalented, but beyond that her grasp was not to be shaken from the gravity of thecsituation. Shecrambled the infomation with the guesses ofveverything. Her knowledge was indepth which brought him further confidence into the task was well suited for her. A sensor could be overwealmed easily but to survive any overwealming case  it required this, thoes second to second detaols, and simplifying.




"very good, and for a bonus tou will lesrn the technique in a moment, but to  explain. Yes all are correct with speed being my naturally gifted focus. I spent years honing it to a point it was nothing short to the nature of my duties in life, A scout, informat, and to get info and get out. Most do not go to my extream, few if any can match it."




zaled went and picked up the pebble and showed the girl. 




"But if anything This will net you vision close to my own natural visual powers."




and to showcase his point zaleds eyes shifted to the sharingan, , a three tomo formation in each eye, Nd he countinued gazing st the girl nodding. Her every breath noted, the tensing of muscles even the shift to move would be easily noted by the older uchiha.




"easily the sharingan can note almost everything. like with any unique eye of this world the info is diffrent based on the bloodline, some show less, others show more, the bayakugsn as zn example has nigh 360 degree vision, and can see to the point to shut off the lines of chakra to shut us down. And there are more eyes out there,But these are all incomplete, no matter the bloodline, it will never reveal the truest of nature of techniques, or the exact speed. And to it, even these eyes and beyond can be struck down with ease."




zaled looked into sumikos's eyes and smiled softly, it was a sad smile at that.




"A boy from my home was struck down because of his foolishness in beliving he evolved his eyes, and hsd capacity to fo much, but just because you can do, does not mean you act with certaincy, defend accordingly, or can fight fully.Alone the eyes are eyes, and infomation is still dark."




he spoke grimly as he explained this to the girl and continued.




"Focus the chakra to your eyes.Let it flow and focus on the infomation you need, take the moment, relax and as you do let your chakra work with your desires, you must let it work with you to give you the infomation. This in part is partially how innate eyes work. But this will work diffrently As it is based on you and your ability to use the infomation. A basic point in this will reveal yes these small details, how strong, or fast a person,object, or jutsu  is, but your affinity and grasp will enable you to guage much further, to read into exactly how something works. Pushing it further the more you improve.  But thats why im teaching you this fully, Of course to your limits. This is why your ability to intake the minute to minute details is imperative. with this jutsu its more akin to how you handle the infomation, and strategies built to work with the infomation."




zaled spoke instructively even if he was many leagues above her speed she could understand signifigance to what and why the very details are the key. 


" Once built up your first step will be completed upon weaving the ox seal, As such i will show you all seals to hit my level, And further test you into learning the details to what you will see,as such we will begin now."


zaled with his full speed weaved the seals with ease. Ox, Boar, Dragon, Snake, Tiger, Ram, And his sharingan had suddenly turned gold with the black tomo still in play. It may have become unsettling to see the eyes change color but he was showing an example of his own use.


"If suscessful you could go, and note that it worked, my chakra color is gold you see, so my eyes turned gold. in this state, it plays as a little measure of protection to the eyes as it does its job.   It'll protect you from most cases of light, smoke,,and eveen artificial darkness to a degree, that however is merely a bi product to what it does. Observe"


zaled stated as he after a glance at the girl,her notable points of interest to what the technique allowed him to see where her greatest strength was thus far besides her knowledge and observational poweres, her grand reserves of chakra, were the noteable point,even surpassing his own, impressive to say was the point. Her own physical strength was also  high, an testament to her weaning towards a physical fighter at one point? zaled was not sure, sumiko was young  although young and sure observant no one knows their goals or a crumb of their desires for years to come, lest in this world they survive. Her chakra quality was very high second to her reserves,it was impressive and showed true to its value her ability to use her sensory to a high degree. the lowest was her natural speed, although it was much better then he thought, it was not her greatest focus, which was still well.


nice she has a great well rounded spread of training in body, and soul,but thats only part of the deal,now for technique and appliance of tecnique of course.


zaled thought as he began writing out a detailed small graph of each of her strributes on the large scroll, and detailing what each meant, it was rather quick work which sumiko would probbably note that it was a bit unusual.A glance to size up a person. it was prorosterious to a degree, if it was off of basic blood based estimation, powers from eyes,or not,but a technique and chakra programming goes
 much further.


setting down the ink bottle to his right zaled now looked at the girl post writing down her infomation.and continued.


"at first you may find it unusual,but it takes time,but you would imnediatly understand what infomation like this can both be of use, and of value beyond many scopes. to understand this, and master it, is to master reading even strangers down to the very twitch."
