A Drunken Sailor Seeking his Crew [Village Entry]

The red headed rogue found himself waking up after having dozed off a short while, having leaned back against the inn while firmly seated on the bench just outside. A bit too much drink in him it would seem, but he would force himself up on to his feet and look around. It would seem as thought the others were nowhere to be found, though hazy images would creep their way into his mind and try their best to allow him to recall what he drunkenly overheard. He vaguely recalled seeing Grey and acknowledging his comrade, the man no doubt used to seeing Cid like this from time to time. Grey had the tendency to get up really early in the morning, sometimes right around the time the rogue was calling it a night... er, morning? Either way, he was pretty sure that he saw Grey earlier. 

Aihara was a bit harder to keep track of, as she moved about much more like a pink blur than anything else. Couple that with a great deal of rum and it was curtains. There was practically no chance the man would have seen her, and good thing too. If he had seen her wander off he probably would have tried to follow her or stop her. He wasn't capable of such miracles with all of his senses sharp, so such a futile effort would only end up injuring his pride. 

He probably should have just went inside to sleep his way to some level of sobriety, instead he would make the judgement call to follow after Grey. You know, because he might need help with something, or... Cid's thoughts suddenly went blank, the man unable to recall his train of thought. Hand's in his pockets, he was far from so inebriated that he couldn't keep his balance. This wasn't his first alcohol induced string of questionable decisions, either. With a pleasant buzz going, he'd find himself approaching what looked like a massive gate with people lining up outside of it to enter. "These folks are lining up for something. Bet its awesome." And with that said, the pirate would find himself standing in line. 

A more observant and less intoxicated Cid might have picked his comrades out of the crowd and made his way over to them, but he was just standing in line vibing as he bobbed his head up and down to some mysterious tune playing only in his own mind.
