Orochi's Search For The Eyes Of Medusa [P/T]

The journey towards kirigakure had lead Orochi towards the border islands near kirigakure; Orochi walked the main road through the his hands behind his head with his elbows extended in front of his face. His yellow and teal eyes looking forward he continued to walk, the road was full of travelers like himself plenty of people walked up and down the main road; from merchants heading towards Kirigakure and from, to villagers from the area. Orochi spotted even a few shinobies even guards walking around, a few stares now and again from random individual put nothing that phased Orochi not even the guards. 


As the walk continued and the people came and went, the road slowly became empty like a ghost town but this was great for Orochi he could enjoy the peace and quiet of the moment as sun was begging to set and the view was spectacular; from the right side of the road was a river that took majority of the view the clear water looks so clear and beautiful every now and then a few boats and ships crossed the river. On the other side was wide open fields like farm country side, Orochi stopped for a moment as he looked at the open field lowering his arms from his head. Orochi looked to his left and right but no one was around it seemed, Orochi took the opportunity to walk towards the wide plain field. 


After a few minutes of walking on the field he reached an area where he was distant enough that travelers as himself would not notice him specially at this time with the sun setting down, Orochi looked around the empty field tress can be seen a few meters away in all directions except behind him. Orochi closes his eyes momentarily as he began to focus chakra throughout; his body, then back into his head mainly throughout his temple surging through his ophthalmic nerve which runs throughout his forehead, eyelids,and mainly his eyes. 


Orochi began meditation during this chakra gathering and manipulation; he unknowingly and unconsciously like water formless his body moved like a snake as he sat down slithering onto his ass, legs crossed and leaning on his elbows his head firm looking forward. Orochi focused on the chakra rushing around his head, surging around his mental nerve and then moving auriculotemporal nerve, this moved towards his C2 and C3 also known as the occipital nerves. Then move back towards lacrimal and infratrochlear the nerves that are closes to his eyes. 


Orochi began to remember his parents his father and mother, and his fellow family clan members. Orochi felt a deep hatred rising from within as well as guilt but he tried to move from does feeling as tried to focus on his clan heritage, the ability to manipulate the very deadly and venomous Poison release but specially the "Eyes Of Medusa" he's only seen them twice in his life and both times the vision of them have always intimidating him, he knew very little about them except for what his father told him about and showed him. 


Orochi gathered all the chakra he could mustered from within himself, towards his eyes and his pupils. The amount of chakra was overwhelming for a moment it actually hurt Orochi as the amount of chakra rushing around his head, but he couldn't loss concentration after all the time he spent gathering it and focusing on it even shaping it in his mind. Orochi began to feel the sensation of fearfulness and darkness the chakra began infusing with Orochi's eyes, then Orochi open his eyes the sun was almost done setting but Orochi didn't even notice to him everything clearly he could detect heat signatures from his location he could sense animals in the area birds lying low the very few random people walking the main road. Orochi could feel the power of these eyes his eyes glow red he couldn't see it but he totally felt it. But as soon as it came it left, the power of his doujutsu was exhilarating to Orochi the power left him hungry for more but the a headache began to creep up Orochi decided to lay down for a moment.

Orochi layed on the ground of the field, eyes eyes looking up at the remaining fragments of the sunset; the sky was red, orange, and purple the white clouds began changing color themselves as they became invisible to the eyes with the sun no longer up high in the sky. The headache was begging to subside as his forehead no longer bothered him anymore. Orochi looked at the night sky now as the moon took its turn in the cycle to show itself, the light it produced was good enough to see but not the greatest. Orochi sat upwards then looked at his hands, the power from the Eyes Of Medusa could still be felt through his body and his hand began to shake a bit. Orochi couldn't let this power slip away from him not this time. 


Orochi clapped his hands together then focused chakra throughout his body again as he closed his eyes; this time while the chakra around his body and brain surge towards his eyes he began to take deep breaths. His blood began to accelerate as the chakra surge through his veins all the way towards his eyes again like a circulation process his breathing became less harsh and no more natural. He sipped the air from his lips like a snake drinking water and then exhaled, this help him concentrate a lot a unique trait that Orochi possess thanks to his heritage. The feeling of dread creep up his body again fearfulness was a limit to the imagination but Orochi wasn't afraid anymore he embrace this power and his clan. 


Time seemed to pass endlessly as if nothing matter at the moment, Orochi was placed under a trans his body still and stiff as a rock. He continue to breath but it look as if he was holding his breath at the same time, tranquility was the proper word that this could be explained as; animal from near by began to close up on Orochi. Deers, Mouses, Moses, Birds, squirrels, and other animals surrounded Orochi each one intrigued by his calmness but afraid of his power as they could feel the Medusa Eyes surging through his eyes. Orochi in his mind was almost in a dream like state, he picture himself as a child in Hoshigakure with his parents. He could taste the air and feel the breeze, everything felt so real at the moment. Orochi walked towards the back of his house as he open the door towards the backyard where his father and mother stood training; he stood there watching as they entered a deadly combat battle yet they held back on each other. Once they finished they stopped and stood looking at each other, the sky became black not like nighttime just black as if the sun vanished with the moon and stars: he could not see anything in front of him then two bright red glows where his parents stood began to shine there eyes glowed like a flashlight but unlike a flashlight; the presence of the eyes froze Orochi in place, the eyes turn towards him as he could see them better now red eyes with black pupil in the shape of snake eyes. Orochi had never felt this kind of fear before a deadly and violent sensation. 


This was no longer a dream but a nightmare, was he lucid dreaming? He couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't breathe, couldn't believe this was happening to him. The Eyes came closer and closer his heart beating at an unorthodox pattern he felt as if he could get a heart attack at any time. Those eyes closed in on him then when it got close enough they vanished, Orochi's body felt calm again; it was still pitch black but he no longer felt at harms way then in a flash an instant, the eyes appeared in front of him large, huge like a real snake stood in front of him. For a second, nano second, milli second, time froze at this point to Orochi. "Young Viperiss; you sseek the power that liess beneath your heart. The power that ssurgess through out your veinssss; you ssseek the power of Medussa the eyess of fear." A voice said coming from the direction of the eyes, his voice and tone was Serpent like. Orochi shock in fear but he tried to maintain his courage and pride "I DO! ... I seek what my heritage has bestowed upon my bloodline, I seek my righteous gift I seek what's mine and you will give me the power to unlock the "Eyes Of Medusa" Orochi said with a new found pride and power, it only took seconds the eyes looked deep inside Orochi as he hissed "Assss you wish, Young Virepissss, take what'ss yoursss but I will take whatsss mine" this statement felt bad very bad then a second pass and the eyes lifted themselves the darkness was no longer in front of him a large black and white snake stood before him as it open its house and swallowed Orochi. 


His eyes open so fast he was not trembling nor shaking, he was calm his vision was like no other all the animals that stood near him stood still in fear he could fell all there heart beats, he could sense there heat, he could see them perfectly. Orochi had Unlocked his Medusa Eyes, as he stood up all the animals ran escaping in all directions, Orochi had never seen the world so clearly like this before. This was power and he needed this power to become a proper member of his Clan.

Orochi felt a bottomless pit of power coming from within himself. The power of the eyes of Medusa were like no others; the night vision and heat detection was quiet impressive for just the base eyes, Orochi looked towards the direction of each animal that surrounded him as he marked them with his heat sensing capabilities. Orochi vanish from his location appearing in front of several animals two deers, a few squirrels and a wild boar. He stood in there way of escape as the deers ran back towards the opposite direction as the squirrels scattered in all directions even two of them tried to avoid Orochi by running as quick as they could by him. Orochi let them pass by but as they did he tagged them gently patting them on the head, a smile grew on his face as the squirrels ran away. The only one in front of him was a wild boar; he stood at half the size of Orochi as it began to get ready for charge.

Orochi smirked as he took possession to defense from the animal. The wild boar charged then dash towards him at high speed, this was a quick boar as it made its way towards Orochi closing the gap between them Orochi reactivated his eyes of medusa causing the boar to violently stop and even fall over just at the eye contact between both of them. The boar saw a predators I'm front of him, the boar then ran the opposite direction as well; he chased the boar around the field purposely letting the boar escape his clutches. At the same time the eyes seek a prey, luckily Orochi wasn't going to kill and eat a boar just because. After a few of chasing a tired boar, he finally gave up and turn towards Orochi. The boar backed up into a corner as he stood ready to fight to the death, Orochi walked slowly towards him his red snake eyes piercing through the boars animalistic mind. Orochi was about to dash towards the boar and stop in front of it and pat it on the head but as the began to speed walk his eyes lit up brightly causing the boar to squeal wildly as it felt over into the ground and shock violently. Orochi stopped as his eyes began to burn badly, he felt to his knees as his eyes began to bleed the chakra that was coursing through his veins into his eyes was venomous and dangerous. "Hehehe... sssshhhhssss I told you I will take what wassss mine child, but I will give you the power, only when you need it ssshssss." Orochi heard that from his mind as the Eyes Of Medusa disappeared leaving him bleeding from the Eyes almost blinded by the power that was ripped from him. After a while Orochi woke up with his vision blurry as he look at the sky or atleast what he though was the sky it was so dark in the night it was hard to tell without his dojutsu. Orochi slowly got up from the ground as his vision slowly turned back to normal; orochi looked at where the boar was paralyzed at and it was no longer there.

"What was that all about and who is this Serpent, creature that keeps getting in my head. ... I need to know" Orochi said as he departed from the open field and back into the road as he made his way towards kirigakure.
