Arantima spun the shuriken around his fingers like a fidget spinner as he watched his Clone work. Arantima's Clone was forming handseals on a single hand as he moved Ram > Rat > Tiger on his left hand and suddenly the Gauntlets on his arms were being wreathed in a Sandy-golden Chakra that grew and grew and extended out beyond the gauntlets for a meter, giving Arantima's clone nearly a 2 meter long reach with just his gauntlets. The Clone would Rush forward and having heard the word Genjutsu from his true self the eyes Closed on the clone and was using the senses that allowed a Kyuketsuki to track their prey.

The clone that was approaching Tenka was moving at 75 speed and when the Clone was at that 2 meter mark the Clone would Swipe at the leg that stepped forward with his increased reach to keep Tenka at bay, and yet the Sense of the clone would tell him that Tenka was now on the move again. The clone would stand still, and turn his body keeping Tenka in the range of his Blood sense. The moment that Tenka would rush the clone it would Hold itself ready with its increased reach and Slice at Tenka's Thrown Kunai and Shatter it, the sound of the kunai flying through the air being as clear to his ears as a bell ringing.

Tenka's Body would be ignored until he was just within The clones range but outside of his own melee range.. The claw would come in straight for Tenka's left shoulder and then swipe across towards the right in a back handed thrust and swipe that would be devastating if it connected, but would impede Tenka's hopes of opening the clone with that kunai at the very least.

As Yazui came around the mirror and charged at the clone, he kept a close eye on its movements. Seeing the closed eyes made him realize that Arantima had figured out how his jutsu worked. And when Yazui threw his kunai thinking it would perhaps capitalize on his foe’s blindness, the clone proved that wrong by blocking it anyway. He was now left with one kunai and approaching an opponent with superior reach. So he would observe closely for any movement he could react to.

This movement came when Yazui had entered the range of the claws’ chakra aura. The moment the clone’s claw began moving downward, Yazui would halt in place and take a single step back, putting him just outside the chakra aura’s range as it swiped past his body. Then, as the claw was still in its downward motion he would throw the second kunai at the clone’s upper chest, a quick attack aimed at the clone’s recovery. If successful, it would pierce the clones’ chest and hopefully destroy it. If not, Yazui would have a better understanding of its reaction speed.

As this interaction took place, the lens would expire, losing its shape and falling to the ground in a harmless puddle.

Arantima himself was distracted for more than a few moments as an owl had descended into the training room just as Tenka's Kunai popped the clone made of water like a proverbial balloon. The Clone had, of course, tried to maneuver the kunai to land against the armor, however, it had forgotten that the armor he was wearing for this fight was meant to combat chakra-based attacks and not physical ones and was therefore left as a heavy disadvantage. The Clone dispersed without a second issue however Arantima was already on his way toward the door.

"That was impressive Tenka! I am sorry to have to cut into this but I am required by Mizuki for an errand. Take a while to rest and reflect. The next time we train it won't be a spar, it will be jutsu training. You do well with a kunai, but I think with the right practice you could even be as good as me with them!" He called over his shoulder as his immense speed was called forth and he was gone in a flash.

Yazui felt a sense of grim satisfaction and pride as his attack landed and the clone popped before his eyes. The thing was reduced to a puddle of water much like the lens only moments earlier. Rusty as he was, Yazui still had it. But while the exchange was in progress, the missing-nin noticed a movement from his peripheral vision. It seemed something flew into the training room, causing the real Arantima to spur into motion. But it wasn’t directed towards Yazui, nor was it another jutsu. By the time the Tenka had dispersed the clone and could redirect his focus towards his sparring partner, he was already moving towards the exit.

His parting words brought a smile to Yazui’s face despite the misnaming. Not only had he impressed Arantima, but the man was willing to share his knowledge with him. The Tenka had seen the damage Arantima could do with just a few projectiles and would love having that power at his fingertips. With that thought in mind, Yazui left the training room.
