Wheres Next?

The day was progressing quite quickly. Satoru had gone from arriving to intent on leaving within the span of a few hours. He was happy to be back but seeing his close friend and compatriot – the 12th Raikage of Kumogakure reinvigorated the Jugos appetite for strength. He knew deep down that he still had a long way to go to get on Ichigo or Noborus level but perhaps it was time for him to seek out a role, a country or even a village that could provide a strategic benefit to Kumogakure in the long run.

Armed with a map of the world and a list comprised of the known village Kage a name caught his eye – Aokidanza. Arching a brow, Satoru couldn’t help but grin – “So he has surpassed me as well…” he cracked up to himself as he made his way towards the gates. He was excited, seeing all of the people he had met on his journey reaching new heights pressed him to achieve more in life. “The Hokage of Konohagakure… how fitting.” He thought, his eyes beaming with emotion. Composing himself a little, he pocketed the papers – “Rice or Left?” he muttered under his breath as his sights arrived on the overwhelming Kumogakure gate and it’s guards.

Arriving, he wore a large jet-black cloak that covered the entirety of his body. His hips came equipped with weapon pouches filled with assortments of items, he dropped his hood as he locked eyes with one of the guards. Having requested for the Raikages assistant to send word of Satorus departure, he had hoped that the process would be relatively touch and go.

Wearing black combat pants and a black tee, his bright orange hair blowing with the wind - “Satoru Jugo… the Raikages office should have sent word of my departure.” the words parted his mouth, but he instantly grew anxious as several men, women and merchants stopped to observe the Jugos overwhelming stature. “Haven’t felt this feeling in a while.” he thought to himself as a smile came over his face. Feeling of anxiety, the rush of battle and general tension were some emotional characteristics that had eluded him over the last 12 months.

Yūka Raiten'nō had started her journey as a member of the genin of Kumogakure; her life leading to this point seemed all but a short journey anymore, yet she ffound hersel volunteering the position of the day, guarding the gate. She hadn't done so before, but after the first handfull of people, the secondary guard, well known to the village decided to step back, and allow her to work solo, keeping an watchful eye on her from a distance. The young Raiten'nō Princess had been doing well so far, taking down the names of who entered, and exited the village -- she enjoyed it, and was getting the chance to meet the citizens, as well as shinobi of the village. Some going off on missions, others returning.

A man came towards the gate, Yūka had noticed him right away, his large jet-black bloak that covered almost his entire body made him something to gawk at, that was certain... But something about the man, felt powerful. The woman smiled towards him as he spoke, 'Satoru Jugo', he seemed to have ome from the Raikages' office... He must be rather important for the office of the Raikage to send word to the gate before hand... Yūka looked down at the list before her, scanning the names quickly, she saw his. "There you are!" She chimed, her eyes glancing back up towards the man. Yūka brushed away some of her white locs, her violet orbs fixiated on the man, eyeing him a little more carefully as she noted his physical appearance; she would write down his intent to leave, confirming that he had arrived at the gates, and was leaving with permission, granted by her. "I'm sure Raikage-Sama enjoyed your visit, thank you for stopping by, Satoru-Sama!" Yūka gave the man a small bow, a show of respect, as anyone who came and met ith Raikage-Sama was someone of great importance. "We look forward to seeing you again!"

Satoru mirrored the short Genins formality with a small bow of his own. A much more of a pleasant experience to when he arrived at the village and so considering that Satoru decided to thank the young woman for her troubles by leaving a small monetary incentive. Reaching into his jacket, he fished out a bag of coins, tossing it in the Genins direction as he made his way towards the exit. “Thank you.”

The bag contained exactly 10 thousand Ryo and would hopefully help the young woman with the cost-of-living crisis that the world was experiencing. With that, he made his way out and onto his next adventure.

Yūka would give out a small gasp, her eyes widdening as the coin bag comes flying towards her, catching it gracefully, she would give the man another bow, a small blush ran against her cheeks as she watched him dissapate into the air. Having finally left; she would take her own leave, walking back into the village as her shift ended, the smile across her face was unusal, but she had just earned what would could consider a 'tip', her first, for doing a good job... She couldn't wait to tell her father.

Exited.
