Bomb in the Bath House Empty Bomb in the Bath House

Kujaku had just spent a week on vacation. He had been hard at work training but he had definetely taken it easy. He had another two days off and was lounging in his hot tub. Kujaku hadn't gotten in it in a long time, but after traveling tot he borders of the nation he was extra dirty and sore. He definetely deserved to treat himself and the shinobi thought it best to do so in the comfort of his own home. He sat naked in the tup that sit in his fenced up backyard. Kujaku's mom was cooking dinner, something she rarely did anymore. It was a good night in this household, and Kujaku was enjoying it armpit deep in foam warm water.

"Kujaku!" Imani Uzumaki called to her son.

"What mom?" Kujaku asked, poking his head just a bit up from the waters surface.

"Dinner's almost done."

Kujaku definitely didn't feel like getting out of the warm hot tup. It was winter, and despite being a warm winter it was still cold outside. If he wanted to eat he would have to put his towel on at least. The young adult simply did not see that happening and he called out to his mom, "Save it for later. I'm scrubbing up!" Kujaku grabbed a bar of soap that was sitting on the side of the tub. He reached his arm back to the base of his neck and began rubbing the bar of soap across his skin. The suds quickly formed and Kujaku reached around with his arm to scrub his shoulder.

After a thorough scrubbing and relacing Kujaku was ready to get out of the tub. His mother had gone to bed. He had been sitting in the tub for a good two hours and was definitely all wrinkled up. He crawled out of the tub and immediately dropped in temperature. It was nearly freezing outside. Kujaku took a towel and wrapped himself up in it then proceeded to go inside where his clothes were waiting. He got dressed in his pajamas, a panda onesie, and sat down at the dinner table with the dinner his mother had prepared for him. It was ramen tonight, and Kujaku was happy to slurp it down. The pork belly his mom braised was perfectly cooked and went just right with the broth she made by hand. Kujaku was having a just perfect night.

Suddenly there was a loud banging on the door. Kujaku was a bit startled, but he was quick to remember his mother was sleeping. "Just a minute." Kujaku called, and got up to go answer the door. He shuffled in his pajamas to the door, not expecting anyone to be knocking on his door so lat eat night. The more Kujaku thought about it the more it seemed odd, and by the time his hand was turning the doorknob he realized that there must be an emergency.

Standing at the door was the Hoshigakure police, a seargant from the looks of it. His identification labeled him as Kazu Inuzuka. Kujaku was just a bit taller than him and looked him square in the eyes when he spoke. "Officer. How can I help you tonight?" Kujaku spoke respectfully, standing there in his panda onesie.

"Sir there is a situation." The cop spoke with a stutter. He seemed to be shaken to the core, and Kujaku was immediately intrigued. He knew a situation as it was called meant that he had some shinobi duties to tend to. Kujaku went to reposition his headband when he realized he wasn't wearing one.

"You see sir," The cop continued on, not noticing that Kujaku was fidgeting with an imaginary headband. "Candy Bathhouse has been placed under attack by Sour Patch Bathhouse. S.P. as it's being called, claims to have placed thirty paper bombs in the rival bath house, endangering all the citizens of Hoshigakure that visit Candy Bathhouse." The cop cleared his throat. Kujaku could see his hand was shaking.

The police officer continued, "Your mission is to infiltrate the bathhouse unsuspectingly, locate each paper tag and deactivate the explosion seals placed on them. It is.. a highly dangerous mission." The police officer stared with great big lamb eyes into Kujau's own orange eyes. It was obvious he had some personal tie to the mission. He was visibly emotional and seemed to be pleading with Kujaku.

"Well I don't know why you chose me. But I will be ready to engage the mission as soon as I get changed out of my erm.. pajamas."

Kujaku rushed to his room and got dressed. He put on his usual shinobi attire, a black UChiha t shirt and some black leather pants. He wasn't sure what type of equipment he should bring so he geared up with everything he had. Walking out of his room Kujaku looked pretty cool, and definitely ready for action.

When the Uchiha made his way back to the door he saw the officer standing there. He seemed nervous and Kujaku wondered if he could help the guy out.

"So let me hear the details. S.P. must have created some hostages eh?" Kujaku spoke softly and his voice sounded reassuring. He was giving off good vibes as he stepped out the door with the officer. They proceeded to walk down the street and talk.

"Well yeah." The officer replied and stuck his hands in his pockets. "We know there are at least thirteen people in there, including some children. And my sister is in there too." The officer paused for a moment on the sidewalk. "You can save them can't you?"

"Of course I can! You came to the right shinobi! No one gets left behind, that's my ninja way!" Kujaku smiled widely and slapped the meek officer on the back. "Don't panic and let me take care of it. Tell me more of what you know." Kujaku and the officer were walking along the path again.

"Well we stopped anyone from looking for the paper bombs. So no casualities so far. S.P. has demanded a ransom of sorts, trying to shut down Candy Bathhouse. But they called us so they're definitely not cooperating with the S.P. Besides that I don't know much. I think my superior on the scene is going to tell you more. My job is just to escort you to him. There's a rendevous, so I think they want you to do this covertly." The officer and Kujaku took a left turn down a street.

"Sounds dicey for sure. Don't worry though, I'll save em." Kujaku pulled out a cigarete and stuck it in his mouth. Then he grabbed a flick lighter from his pocket and lit the cigarette. He inhaled deeply and then exhaled a long stream of smoke from both his mouth and nose. "Don't worry.. By the way! What's your name, Officer?"  Kujaku took another puff of his cigarette.

"I'm Ichigo." The officer replied. The rest of the walk was quiet.

Kujaku popped a couple military rations as he walked. He figured he was getting close, since he knew where Candy Bathhouse was. His parents had taken him there a few times as a kid, it was famous for having a candy shop inside the bathhouse and that made a prie spot to take your kids to. Ever since Kujaku's father was beheaded though, he hadn't made it out to this side of the village very often. Kujaku was usually refined to the more poor districts for his work.

Kujaku and Ichigo made their way through the village like two mice following each other through a maze. It seemed like Ichigo didn't know where he was going, but they eventually made it to their destination.

Sitting four stories high in the commercial district of Hoshigakure no Sato was a penthouse apartment that had a great view of the area. This apartment was where Ichigo took Kujaku to. After taking a long flight of several stairs they made it to the penthouse and walked in through the front door. Ichigo used his key to unlock it, but then he let Kujaku lead him. Kujaku walked forward into the dark apartment, his eyes searching for someone to talk to. As he walked further in he found who he was looking for.

In a deep baritone voice someone said to Kujaku, "My name is Detective Chiro Inuzuka. I am in charge of this mission, so you will be working with my Mr. Kujaku. Thank you for helping us." The deep voiced man sounded real official. Kujaku could barely see him, but his face appeared to be very stoic.

Kujaku replied heartily, "It's my pleasure to be of service to Hoshi. So tell me what I can do." Kujaku rubbed his palms together, eager to get in there and save the day. Deep down Kujaku was a hero, but he wasn't exactly great at following orders. He was trying his best, but he always tried his best. It was just facts of life that he was bound and determined to do things his own way. Never the less Kujaku was listening to Chiro with open ears.

"You are two covertly sneak in the bath house and locate all thirty of the paper bombs. Do not let anyone detect you, for we have reason to believe someone in there has been placed by S.P. as a mole. Do not get caught, we fear they might set off one of the bombs. Now they're currently waiting on Candy Bathhouse to sign rights over to them, so S.P. hasn't made any moves besides siezing control of the situation. We hope you can take advantage of this stand still. It won't last forever though. Now shinobi, please hurry." Chiro saluted Kujaku and waited for him to return it, when he did the Inuzuka turned back to the window and resumed watching Candy Bathhouse from a distance.

Kujaku didn't waste no time. The ninja silently dashed down the stairs and made it into the alleyway. From there he flash stepped to a nearby rooftop and then jumped from rooftop to rooftop undetected. When he made it to the top of the Candy Bathhouse he could smell the sugary goodness inside the bathhouse. Kujaku wondered if they still had sour apple suckers, but tried not to dwell on it. He ducked underneath the hot exhaust vent and proceeded forward. Eventually he found a vent he could fit into, and Kujaku squeezed himself through.

After a long while of shimmying through the ducts Kujaku found an emmpty room. He quietly cut a hole in the duct using lightning release, then expertly landed on his feet in a boiler room.

"Good thing i followed the heat." Kujaku thought to himself and pulled at his collar. He had worked up a sweat.

The Uchiha quietly snuck his way over to the door and put his ear to it. He could hear some voices, but they seemed far away. Or maybe they were just in an adjacent hallway. Kujaku activated hisSharingan from inside the boiler room and looked around. He saw all thirteen peoples chakra in one room. Kujaku was relieved to see they were safe, but he knew he had to hurry. If there was a mole they surely had a role to play come the time limit. Kujaku didn't want to think about it and began preparing for his plan.

First Kujaku created three shadow clones and they jumped back into the vent system. Kujaku had scoped enough of the vent system out to know that he could travel freely in the vents of the bathhouse. He noticed most everyone was in the main bath room, so he sent his clones to search for the paper bombs in that room using the Sharingan. The clones traveled all around the vents while Kujaku waited. He sat patiently and considered how he would destroy the bombs from the vents. Finding them was easy, the chakra imbued in the paper tag glowed like a red hot iron under the gae of the Sharingan.

Destroying them without being seen would be tough.

Further more Kujaku wondered who the mole was. From all he could tell no one was a shinobi in the bath house. Kujaku figured it was probabl money based, a mole paid by the handful to make sure a scheme goes right. Kujaku thought it was absolutely dastardly to do it and he wondered if he would find the mole in the group.

Suddenly a clone Kujaku created poofed itself away and Kujaku was flooded with information. The clone had found twelve bombs and they were near eight of the people. It was definitely a sticky situation. Kujaku figured he could avoid detection if he moved fast enough, but he wasn't sure how long he could move with such super speed. He was only human after all. Kujaku was thinking hard in the boiler room when suddenly another clone poofed itself away. All of his chakra and the attained information the clone had flooded Kujaku's mind and he became aware of eight more paper bombs. These ones were only around four people, and he figured he would get working on that.

Kujaku had a plan. IF he got caught by someone, he would just simply put them in a genjutsu. It wouldn't work if multiple people saw him.. but Kujaku was certain he was fast enough to pull it off.

Kujaku climbed into the vents and headed down the vent system. As he traveled to the nearest hole to escape from he turned his Sharingan, and when he did his final clone poofed away and revealed the final locations of all the paper bombs. Kujaku was ready. Eager to impress himself he made it to where he would jump out.

Kujaku looked out of the vent from where he was hiding and saw three people. There was a four just behind him, and most of the paper bombs were hidden oupon the wall. Kujaku could tell they planned on taking out the building. The way all of the bombs were placed was deconstructive oriented. The hostages were replaceable to the S.P Bathhouse. Kujaku got kind of made thinking about it and he was squinting his eyes in frustration. He drew a senbon from his pocket and prepared to make his move.

Someone was walking by the vent Kujaku was hiding in, and he was just above them. When the person stepped past Kujaku he darted out of the ventilation system and head toward the wall where four paper bombs were placed. They were each about four inches apart, so Kujaku could dearm them all pretty quickly. He released them all four at a time and jumped back into the ventilation system. As he jumped up into the giant vent he fired the senbon in his hand at the wall.

Everyone heard the steel needle ping into the wall, and thankfully it didn't explode. The group began forming around the senbon, talking loudly and some were even crying.

Kujaku noticed from the ventilation system that one person was less interested in the senbon, and the longer he focused on them the more their body language told Kujaku's Sharingan eyes they were inspecting the walls. Kujaku wondered if the person either had Dojutsu, or just simply knew where the bombs were.

"Maybe they placed em.." Kujaku thought to himself. While the crowd was gathered around the mysterious senbon Kujaku went around the room and deactivated seventeen more paper tags. He stuck them in his pocket and moved fast like lightning, no one caught any wind of him. Kujaku was nearly done and as he jumped back into the vents he had an idea.

Now typically Kujaku wasn't exactly experienced with using Sharingan based Genjutsu. He knew how, and he even enjoyed it. He wasn't a pro though. For some reason Kujaku decided he would place the suspect in a genjutsu. Maybe he just wanted to simply test himself, or maybe he wanted to see how the man would react. Either way he was determined he would catch the suspect in a genjutsu and get them to admit what they had done.

Since Kujaku started the man had been searching for other paper tags that had been deactivated, he knew what was going on and it was obvious. The man seemed kind of scared. Kujaku figured he was more worried about prison than his life. Such was the case for some, some of the worst off at least.

Kujaku got an idea for the genjutsu. He jumped out of the vent and pulled a small piece of a broken mirror from his pocket. He placed it on the window sill and then jumped back in the vent. As he soared in the air he threw another senbon, loudly, at the wall. By the time he had pulled himself up the crowd had regathered. No one would notice the mirror, provided they werent looking. Kujaku knew that would make it the perfect bait, and weapon too. The UChiha created another clone in the vent and it began crawling. The two were forming a pincer formation. Kujaku's clone got behind him, and they waited. Once the man picked up the mirror it was just a matter of which one would be able to see the scoundrels eye. From both sides Kujaku felt oconfident it wouldn't take long, and as he thought that the demolitionist picked up the two inch wide broken piece of glass. He looked it over, and Kujaku smiled a most wicked smile.

As the guy was looking into the mirror Kujaku's clone pocked his head out of the vent and stared over the guy's shoulder with his Sharingan.

In an instant the man was caught under Genjutsu and simply stood there staring at the mirror.

Kujaku had complete control of his victims sensory system and he had a plan. He wanted tog et a confession, silently.

The genjutsu started as a deep, dark pit of despair. The man couldn't move or talk, or smell, but he could feel a heaviness on his limbs. He tried to move but he couldn't and then the sun came out. It rotated above the man a few times over a long period of time, maybe days. The man felt chained to the ground and the more the sun went by him the more he felt like he would be able to get up.

One day as the sun rose a black figure in the middle of the sun appeared. It was small, but it seemed to move up and down. Day after day it got bigger and bigger, and closer and closer. The man felt relieved and he noticed he could speak. He tried to say something, but no sounds could be heard.

Suddenly it was a new day and the figure in the distance was pretty close now. The man could see it had wings, and a tail. He knew it was a bird, and he had the most wretched fear of gut in his stomach. He had been screaming with no sound for days at this point, but he knew no one could hear him.

As the sun set on this night the bird broke the silence. It cawed loudly into the air space, and the man began silently crying. He couldn't feel the tears on his face but he knew he was chained to the ground. The more he thought about his face the more he realized the bird was now looming over him.

"Who are you?" The bird cooed, and then began preening its wing feather. The man was cast under a great shadow. He couldn't hear his voice but he spoke his name.

"I'm Mayato Karanshi.." He sobbed, but no one could hear him.

Except for Kujaku. In real life he was still staring the man in the face.

The bird folded it's wind back up and in the darkness Mayato felt light strike his face. He couldn't see the light, but he knew it was there. That was when the crow pecked at him. The man could feel the pinch of his flesh, he the black and white scenery became stained by blood. Red ran all over the man and he felt nothing but agony.

The crow got real close to Mayato's face and asked, "Why?" The crow could be felt by MAyato, and it felt cold.

Mayato was crying and screaming again but he couldn't hear himself. "You know my mom is sick, stay away from me!!!" Mayato screamed. It was almost like he was talking to himself. PErhaps that's what he thought.

Kujaku spun his sharingan faster, satisfied with MAyato's confession. The crow began pecking his flesh apart, and Mayato fell unconcious.

This all happened in ten seconds. Kujaku quickly jumped back into the vents.

When the crowd found Mayato unconcious they made a big scene, and it was easy for Kujaku to finish his mission. He felt accomplished, and enjoyed his work with Genjutsu. S.P. Bathhouse was shut down too, it was a good day.
