Grazing Through.

After having collected a rare piece of rabbit fur, Deeb endeavoured to strike up conversation with travellers he encountered. Many fancied the hide for it's soft and warm qualities. However, prices varied. Deeb kept the fur for a pillow, wanting to see what a village market would offer. Travelling through fire country had been a pleasant experience. No real troubles. Only one hinderance tarried him, and it had been dealt with. As he walked he breathed in the fresh, unpolluted air of the forest. Happy to be alive. To be so far from his People was concerning for Deeb, a flourishing Ajin was a myth. Although his family worked well together, not all of his relationships were healthy. His father was a distant figure, who pioneered many of the formal encounters with Ajin people that Deeb experienced. Introductions were often formal affairs, and the welcome that Deeb received, when he was expected somewhere was usually embarrassing. High praise for small deeds; a cacophony of chortled laughter hiding behind such dangerous faces, lacking the humility to not sincerely ridicule. Deeb didn't like being around his People all that often. But homesickness did insidiously turn his thoughts homeward, every now and then. Heading for Rice Country, he skirted the perimeter of Fire countries borders hoping to eventually find a path.
