A Bloody Reception [Yugure]

The day had come, all the preparation and plans would come to fruition.  Kinko was busy here with his training, rituals, learning about his history, and simply living life with his new family members but he found time, initiative, and the decision-making ability to put on his first reception. Kinko was always proud of being able to produce and plan events. While he did not have significant experience with planning with his clan-members, he often conducted tournaments, ceremonies, and other competitions with other civilians. The scene was set, the candles were lit, and the natural light from the dusk entered through but was perfectly dim enough to let the candles shine.  Further, even the stone path was nicely lit with candles as a nice breeze swung and flickered the candles but allowed them to breathe and stay lit. Flowers would dress the walls, edges, and features of the stone path as Orchids, Lavenders, and peonies were mounted as accent pieces.

Some of the assistants continued to bustle as they finalized their final touches, correcting positions of the large feast assorted on the grand table showing multiple dishes. Kinko had ordered for quite a bountiful feast, one almost excessive for the celebration of the return of Mizuki. While most return from their travels, Kinko had experienced enough times when they do not return, often without closure and reason. Lastly, Kinko surely would have been lost, confused, and left dumb without her guidance.

The nicest china was polished and prepared holding soups, dips, appetizers, and other large forms of meat. The table was littered with bottles of wine, blood, and other fruit juices native to the land to be enjoyed to the tune of a small but pleasant and active trio of wind instrument musicians ensuring a nice, light, and almost heavenly tune.

The young vampire was not sure how Mizuki would react to her little festive party, especially because a lot of people just want to go to bed when they return from a trip. However, he would show his gratitude through a little get together to recall her trip and inform us of future events. Kinko was mainly excited about having the opportunity to continue to meet everyone again but EVERYONE should appear, even if only for a little, a lot of work went into ensuring a proper return. Kinko had even thought of preparing the sanguine baths to their most exquisite level to ensure the capacity that all can enter and enjoy themselves. Lastly, even the assistants would be walking around to tend and cater to every desire from offering light massages and hot towels. Surely, we will all be treated quite handsomely.

Kinko was sure that one of the other members would have met Mizuki at the gates to escort her towards her evening party. Surely, everyone will be able to enjoy this bountiful event. Kinko smiled as he waited at the end of the table, munching on some berries left on the table. His grin showed how happy he really was, he really was proud of himself, maybe even a bit too much.
