Thanks to his Sharingan, Tenshi was able to spot Jecht making a dash in his changed direction. Well there goes that plan… He thought to himself as he attempted to recalculate his next moves. Realising that they would not be able to get out of range this time, Tenshi opted for another potential solution. Snake - Ram - Tiger, with 60 speed and power, Tenshi would cast the Great Fireball Jutsu aiming it at the location that Jecht planned on making his upcoming big move.

He intended on using the Jutsu to damage and distract Jecht long enough for them to make it further away from him. At this point, Tenshi felt like a mouse being hunted down by a ravenous house cat.

Well, it was at least worth a shot to make the attempt and try. Master Jecht's a seasoned veteran of combat, so it's reasonable to assume a simple change in direction wouldn't phase him and twist his ankles. But for her and Tenshi, they're in the thick of it now and if there's any time to act, as the distance between herself, Tenshi, and Jecht closes, it will have to be now and fast. But the clamoring question was: what is she to do next? Rellgar can only travel so far so quickly, and the duo being together as a pair already puts them in severe jeopardy.

Think of something, Himari. Think!

Thinking quickly after Jecht adjusts his movement with frightening speed while Tenshi performs the necessary handseals to execute stymie their adversary's movement, Himari — this time with feeling — performs, with the one hand closest facing closest toward Jecht's direction, a palm thrust at the location that he plans to stop at her Stat Speed as a softly blurred space, to the naked eye but is entirely visible to those with chakra vision, roughly shaped like a cylinder that is 2 meters in diameter and 4 meters in length. As the projectile ejects itself from her palm, it travels to its maximum range of 30 meters in a straight line and scales at both a Jutsu speed and power of 80.

Should the air vacuum strike true, the Jutsu will do direct damage to Jecht, and the knockback effect is capped at 10 meters with a speed equal to Jutsu speed. The knockback stops earlier if he impacts a wall, a mountainside, and other similar environmental factors. However, the knockback effect occurs if the projectile lands on a human/puppet/summon and not a solid structure — of chakra or otherwise — such as a wall of earth. Also, he can resist the knockback if he braces in time with a strength stat equal to or higher than this technique.

“Worthy attempt.” Jecht said as he watched the two attempt to stop him from unleashing his move but he simply saw the fireball heading his way and with his knowledge of Taijutsu techniques he was pretty sure the move that Himari was attempting was similar to his own technique World in sleeves though he felt it wasn’t an attempt to bring him closer them but to try and push him away. Jecht decided to take the blows directed to him brushing off the fireball and feeling the wall of air trying to push him back he resisted its power and stood his ground his own technique “Scatter” having now caught the two genin in its field causing them to be paralyzed unable to move from their spot.

“That was a good attempt. Now I will give you a choice.” He said as he walked closer to the pair and the dragon. “Surrender or deal with what comes next.” He would offer, Tenshi would understand this choice as it was similar to the same one he had been given during their first spar. Jecht wore a smile on his face as he had enjoyed himself and while knew the two weren’t quite up to par for going outside the village they were at least at a point they were competent. Against a weaker opponent their teamwork might have been more effective.

It appeared that Tenshi and Himari's efforts had been in vain, Jecht had dashed straight through their combined efforts with absolute ease. The large man simply no sold their attacks, allowing them to harmlessly bounce off his solid frame. The two Genin were mere child's play to the advanced Jounin, something that he clearly wanted them both to be aware of. Reacting off instinct alone, knowing the outcome of their last encounter, Tenshi would release Rellgar at the last second, who would disappear before being hit by the Scatter technique. This would result in both Tenshi and Himari falling down, however, Tenshi ensured that he fell first, meaning that Himari would land on his back when they hit the floor. He hoped that these actions would result in his companion Rellgar would escape harm and that he could break Himari's fall, even if it was just a little bit.

Tenshi would land and lay on the ground of the arena, with his head facing to the left, staring directly at Jecht. His Sharingan was still active as this happened. Jecht spoke boldly as he walked towards them, he once more mentioned surrender, something that Tenshi had to do in their last encounter. He could not move or talk, but his eyes never left Jecht's. This was his last opportunity, if he could even call it that. Praying that Jecht would finally drop his guard enough to look into his eyes, Tenshi would cast Sharingan Genjutsu at C Rank with a power of 70 if they locked eyes, in an attempt to halt the Jounin's movement and knock him unconscious.

Combat:

Himari observes the impact of her's and Tenshi's Jutsu collide with Jecht simultaneously, and even then, she holds her breath with the only sounds coming from the thunderous drums of life beating in her chest. Alas, the dust barely has time to settle before the electrical shower continues to chase them down with maximum prejudice. She feels her confidence wane at the realization, knowing her and Tenshi's efforts to halt the Jutsu's execution would buy them even a few more seconds of time to level the playing field, however slight it could've been.

With little time to react, she feels her legs give way and gravity gracefully works its magic as the pair begin to fall back to the ground while Jecht's attack makes contact with the duo and fully paralyzes them both. Helpless to cushion her own fall, thankfully, Tenshi—whether by sheer luck or he'd planned his a few seconds prior to being struck—She slams herself atop of him as pain flares and every muscle in her body tenses up. When she attempts to make any movements with her body, she's only met with the worrisome realization that what control she once had over it has been relinquished.

The two Genin are well and truly at the mercy of an experienced combatant. While they did make an attempt to hold their own, the humility came in the form of their own inexperience and shame. A lesson she'll engrave in memory for years to come. Upon hearing Jecht's speech as he acknowledges their efforts and presents them with two choices: Forfeit or suffer. Given their situation, the most logical approach would be to surrender than suffer whatever altercation she and Tenshi'll find themselves in. But then again, how would Tenshi react to her giving up in the moment?

Would he view her differently? Would he feel disdain? Would he understand?

She then recalls Tenshi's actions prior to their ensuing defeat, how he made every effort to get her out of harm's way by boarding Rellgar with him and allowing her to temporarily take the reins to create a suitable distance from their opponent. He clearly cared a great deal for her well-being. And had the roles been reversed… yeah, that's it. That alone helps find the answer she needs in this trying moment.

One may call it a display of bravado or stupidity, but were this a live combat situation and Tenshi chose to continue fighting, what sort of kunoichi would she be to simply give up and yield? She chose this life, for better or worse, to defend the place she comes home. Sacrifice is expected, and if that means receiving a beatdown for it, so be it. The last thing she'll ever want is bringing shame to her family name and village.

Once she's made her peace, with strength she can muster, her eyes shift toward Jecht's voice, grits her teeth and proclaims steadfastly.

"If Tenshi won't give up… neither will I."

She takes a deep breath and feels a rush of energy course through her body, not so much that it shirks the paralysis that strangles her form, but hardens her physicality. After all, she may as well get familiar with how her body works after she'd gone through the effort to condition it.

The two had considerable willpower even when faced with certain defeat they still wished to continue. That was good. That was what the village needed during this time. Shinobi who would never surrender and fight even if they only had their mouth's to attack their opponent. Jecht smiled and stopped his technique, "Good Good, I'm impressed with you both. I think this has gone on long enough as is." He said as he brushed off the dust that had accumalated while the fight had gone on. "Pick yourselves up and follow me, I'll pay from some food." Jecht said as he began to head out the arena.

Tenshi could not help but smile with pride as his team mate also showed her own resolve by refusing to quit. He knew that he had a friend who would have his back no matter the circumstances. It also helped him with his own confidence, encouraging him to push through his otherwise defenceless self. Tenshi was ready to continue the fight, if he could even call it that at this point, when Jecht decided instead to stop his technique, releasing the two Genin from its clutches. The young Uchiha felt his body's autonomy return to him as the larger man decided that he had had enough of the battle. With a sigh, Tenshi rose from the ground and also brushed himself off, there was dirt all over him from when he had fallen.

He took some time to reflect on what had just happened. He and Himari had been punished, quite brutally at that, but in reality Jecht had been simply trying to educate them on the dangers of what lay beyond. If they were not ready, which they were clearly not, the two of them would be lucky to survive. Cursing himself for his stupidity, Tenshi decided that it would be best to leave it for now and focus on growing his own skills before making any more foolish mistakes. Jecht's offer to pay for food was more than enough for him to simply nod with a sheepish smile and follow him out of the Inferno Arena. A lesson learnt, albeit a very painful lesson indeed.

Himari braces, for what it's worth, and keeps track of Jecht's movements until he announces that the beatdown onslaught has come to a close.

"Oh."

When what wrests her bodily autonomy relinquishes back to its former host, she feels a short burst of pins and needles circulate through her system as she makes small movements to allow her form to auto-recalibrate itself. When she shortly attains full control of her motor functions, she rolls off of Tenshi to allow him to move freely as he will as she watches the Jounin head toward the exit of the Arena. The furious drums from within settle to a rhythmic beat and her nerves quell from the tension prior.

They were both spared what would otherwise have been a brutal form of disciplinary action for their carelessness in not seeking the Kage's authority to set out on their recent mission to acquire intel on the Viper's recent gathering. However, she stringently notes that the next time she's feeling brave to handle a mission that could clearly place her one step away from Death's Door, she'll remember this day—albeit, not fondly—as a reminder that her hubris in feeling invincible can come at a cost of reality whisking the very life her lungs breath in.

Slowly rising to her feet, she dusts off her dirt-caked outfit. Jecht is certainly in a league of his own and his techniques were phenomenal. The gears in her mind begin to whir whether, in the future, she may have the opportunity to learn a thing or two from him to elevate herself to become a competent shinobi. Without wasting any more time, she strides toward the same exit. With the promise of food in order, she could make use of this as an opportunity to get to know the elder shinobi.
