The Mage Mashers are a pair of short daggers, measuring around 40 centimeters for the blade's length. Each one has a slim, curved blade made of silvery steel, and maintains a sleek color gradient from crimson red at its shoulder to lavender at its tip. Inscribed upon the blades are a series of elegant etchings, which mimic the pattern of a curvy flower's stalk. The hilts are roughly 10 centimeters in length, and adorned with a blue ivory grip that provides a comfortable hold for its wielder. Intricately woven around the hilts is threaded leather with a lavender colorization, reinforcing the grip further. Both the pommel and guard of the weapons are embellished with a small, ornate design with a golden finish. 

Twinned Mage Masher Form:

Notably, the pommels of each dagger are compatible and open, designed with a corkscrew interior threading. This allows for the two daggers to become one longer blade when the pommels are combined and twisted 90 degrees. When in this form, the total length of the twinned mage masher is 100 centimeters, or 1 meter from tip to tip.

The pair of blades come with a strap and single sheath, which was made to be able to house both blades either side by side in dagger form, or combined in twinned form. The strap and sheath can be worn either across the body with the sheath on the back, or tightened to wear across the waist so the sheath hangs horizontally with it.

Backstory:
Via the Fission Technique, Guren created a being unlike any other; an artificial being named Zidane. Zidane possessed Guren's exact genetic makeup, making him a clone or genome of his creator. As Zidane opened his eyes for the first time, Guren could see a spark of life and curiosity within his creation. Though in design, he created Zidane to have better physical prowess than himself. And so Guren, recognizing Zidane's potential, decided to seek out and arm Zidane with a weapon that would compliment his innate abilities. He sought out the finest craftsmen in Otogakure to forge a personalized weapon for Zidane, which ended up being the Mage Mashers.

The Mage Mashers were unlike any other weapons ever crafted in Otogakure. Their blades were forged from native materials to the Land of Sky, and were imbued with the essence of both Guren and Zidane's own chakra. Each Masher was intricately designed, reflecting Zidane's destiny as a swift and cunning shinobi. With the Mage Mashers in hand, Zidane felt a surge of belonging and power flowing through him. The daggers were lightweight, perfectly balanced, and seemed to resonate with his every movement. He himself had hoped that they would heighten his agility and precision, granting him an uncanny ability to strike swiftly and accurately.

The hilts of the Mage Mashers were elegantly crafted to optimize the user's grip. Partnered with Guren and Zidane's chakra infused into the blade, comes a unique synergy where the blade when wielded by Zidane cannot be forcefully relinquished. Resultantly this means that stat checks and effects of techniques which would attempt to disarm the Mage Mashers from Zidane will be bypassed.
