Troublesome Tree

The rain poured heavily as the clouds thundered with lightning. It wasn't a pleasant night, Hanzo did his best to cover himself due to the extreme cold but the freezing atmosphere covered his room. As he was sleeping, he could hear multiple lightning hitting the ground, it was dangerous for sure. As time passed, the young Uchiha finally fell asleep. The morning sun shone brightly through the window on the face of the young Uchiha who was sleeping. He woke up with sleep in his eyes. He wiped his eyes and he got up to open the window, delighted that the place was dried up. Only one thought came into his mind, he had to rank up soon. Once he completes the required number of missions, he will be eligible for the Chunin Exams. Once he passed it, it would be easier for him to get into the Sound Ninja Five. He needed to take whatever mission he could to hasten his goal. He changed into his daily attire and adorned his Tanto on the back of his middle shoulder. He left his house feeling exhausted from his previous days of missions.

He walked slowly towards the Otokage Mansion. On his way, he could hear some commotion around the house. He made a sharp turn towards the sound of the commotion and saw that a huge tree was growing from the road side and into a house. He knew what this meant, someone may have requested for a mission at the Mission Board. He smirked and started walking towards the Otokage Mansion. He started increasing his walking speed as he was afraid someone might grab the mission before him. Finally he reached the Mission Board and started to search for the mission sheet frantically. Due to his good luck, he managed to find the one mission sheet that he was looking for immediately. He scanned through the details and it was the exact situation that he thought of. He adjusted his Tanto while reading the mission sheet, signifying that he would be using it to cut the huge tree down. Hanzo ripped the mission sheet and kept it within his pocket. He walked back to the place where he saw the family having trouble with the huge tree.

As he reached the house, he could hear the family members shouting at each other in anger as they couldn't cut the tree down due to its huge size. The young shinobi stood in front of them and said, "Hello, My name is Hanzo Uchiha and I am here to help you with your huge tree problem". One of the family members turned to him and responded, "Oh yes, we need this to be out of our house. It has been very troublesome and we thought the lightning last night would have taken it out, unfortunately no, it's still here". The young Uchiha informed the family members to move out of his way so he could analyze the tree. He knew he had to come up with a plan in order to minimize any damage to the house or the road. He could see that the huge tree had seven branches that were pointed towards each of the windows. The root of the huge tree was stamped on the ground of the road. He had to formulate a good plan, especially since the family members and even bystanders were watching the show. Hanzo cracked his head and formulated a few phases. Phase one would be to cut the branches from the different windows. Phase two would be to cut the tree from the windows, a few meters at a time until he could reach the road. Phase three would be to pull out the roots from the roadside without damaging the road itself.

Hanzo commenced the operation. He removed his Tanto from his back. Firstly, he started by slashing the branches from the windows and made sure it fell inside the house as there were many people outside. Even though he could remove them with a single slash, he didn't want to damage the windows. Once the branches were removed, he commenced the next phase, which was to cut the tree itself. He climbed outside the windows and this time round started cutting it with his might. As it was a huge tree, it took him quite some time. Once the logs were cut, he removed the pieces to a nearby place to dispose of it. Now for the final task. He stood in front of the roots of the previous huge tree. He started digging beside the roots in order to fully grab the interior of it. He made sure not to disturb the roadside which might cause it to deteriorate in the future. Once the whole operation was completed, the young Genin removed all the debris from the tree and disposed of it properly. By this time, he was sweating so much from the work that his clothes could be seen that it was wet.

The young Uchiha retracted his Tanto to the back of his middle shoulder, signifying he completed the mission. The bystanders watching this started clapping at him, which made the Genin blush a little bit. Hanzo called upon the family and showed them his work. "Oh my god, you have done a fantastic job. Thank you so much for your service. An Uchiha never disappoints." The delighted family owner reached into her purse and took out an envelope and passed it to the young shinobi. Hanzo knew what this meant, he just got paid for the mission that was successfully completed. Hanzo bowed as he left the vicinity while waving back to the happy family who were jumping in joy. Hanzo adorned his Tanto on his back and left the premises feeling exhausted. He was delighted to finish yet another mission. This means he was closer to getting into the elite shinobi squad, Sound Ninja 5 and will soon rise in the ranks to a Chunin.
