Quinn woke up this day in a multitude of moods. Various orders had come in from individuals within the village but shinobi orders were still at a low with some generic one or two drops. Even with Zidane's help in making and creating concepts plus prototypes to showcase, business was not picking up as Quinn had hoped with their decision to become a shinobi. Determining if that was the correct course of action will be a revelation for significantly later down the road. They picked up their leather apron and pulled their eye protection from a hook on the wall inside the forge's walls. Not many requests were taken upon by Quinn but when the first shinobi order came in for actual gear, they took it upon their own personage to make sure it was made to the highest of qualities.
Hanzo Uchiha, had commissioned some gear and armor based on the designs that Quinn mocked up and got approved by Guren. Seeing that this was the first of hopefully many more orders, the Forgemaster did not want to let this simply slide to the wayside and be forgotten for weeks. This was a prime, and to all intents and purposes a VIP order, opportunity to showcase the skill they kept boasting about to others every chance they got. The development of Fosters' Forge was through word of mouth when it was under the ownership and operation of Quinn's parents, and that remained true throughout Quinn's tenure so far. Many within the village would need to hear of and hear from Quinn to be aware and request equipment to be forged.
The task at hand for this request was simple and reasonable, a custom-designed piece by Zidane that he coined the name 'Gaia's Gauntlet' with the 'Efficient Channeler' trait. A set of armaments for his appropriate rank, the Honuan version with the 'Bass' trait that allowed its wearer to be less likely to be caught off guard by an enemy's technique. The equipment side of the order was simple but at the last moment, Hanzo included a request of two blades alongside the initial order. A simple and basic katana, refined and honed to a pristine clean edge. The other is a bounded tool of shinobi, a chakra-locking blade that syncs with its wielder. A request that if Quinn did not venture into the world of shinobi arts, would be unable to complete the task presented to them at this juncture. The decision-making process the Forgemaster had getting to this point was indeed foresight at its best.
"Boy!" Quinn yelled out to the front as their nephew came running to the back, a couple of fliers in his grasp disheveled by the sudden call. "Yes Quinn?" He asked simply. "Today I'm locking. Do not disturb. Unless leadership arrives." Quinn stated in a grizzled manner. The message was clear and concise as what was being asked of the Forgemaster was to be left alone for the day. "Hanzo shall arrive later. Pick-up should be quick." With instructions given and tracked by their nephew, they left as swiftly as they came to finish their own daily objectives for the morning routine the forge required. Getting prepared and setup, a multitude of equipment and tools were collected and maneuvered between workbenches and stations having various materials. "Let's Begin."
WC: 556, TWC: 556/6,750
The gauntlet was the first to be made as the specifications were to be required to fit perfectly on the young Uchiha. Quinn's mindfulness would also add a little adjustment depending on how the young man grew by including in the latching mechanisms some wiggle room to fit better but also accommodate for growth the teenager would likely have in the long future. Although such a need is likely not required of the blacksmith due to the likelihood of combat would result in broken equipment. The Forgemaster was always forward-thinking in many ways but the woe of combat seemed foreign to the process they were conducting themselves with as a village. As a community that looks internally before external affairs are accounted for, Otogakure even before the founding of the shinobi side of the village operated under the same premise.
The design space that Zidane helped create for the gauntlet's design was flexible while also covering joints and other important parts of the user's hand. With natural and local materials taken into account in the creation of the metal and fibrous portions, Quinn's approach to the creation of such an item, when requested, was to make sure the measurements were accurate and the material would not be too much for the wielder of the gauntlet. "Sharp. Efficient. Easy." Was all they said as they began their work on the gloves. Hanzo's request was a straightforward one but it was a hefty load of demand that even with extra hands the order still was a lot at once. The challenge posed by such an order proved to spark the flames inside Quinn as it was not often that they themselves were able to personally see nowadays. Quite often the tasks had been delegated to others within the forge to keep pace while the Forgemaster undertook different tasks necessary for the business' prosperity.
Pulling the eyepatch over their head and covering their right eye, Quinn prepared with selecting the appropriate sized leather glove template to begin the process and measurement for a left-handed gauntlet. While processing the required leather to make the glove, Quinn's other hand was ruffling through bins adjacent to the workstation to collect the equally important molds needed for the protective metal pieces to attach to the glove. Many small molds were pieced together due to the need for specific measurements. Making a piece that was inadequate due to improper measurements was not the intention of the Forgemaster. Of the individuals that Quinn had met immediately after signing up at the academy, Hanzo had been one of the first and he left quite the impression on the blacksmith who at the time was just a student. "Eager. Driven. Ambitious." Quinn murmured aloud around the sounds of the forge hard at work behind them.
Once all the appropriate molds and base materials were gathered for the glove, Quinn began hard at work to get the base of the gauntlet made and stitched. An aid nearby prepped the materials while the Forgemaster was occupied with getting the required leather pieces to meld well into each other to create a snug yet flexible fit. Taking time and patience, the glove itself was an easy but tedious process as the model of a hand had been adjusted to match Hanzo's hand measurements. Starting early in the morning before the sun rose, it was a bright and sunny day as the morning hours began to accumulate. The expanded time required to best fit the glove took its course till Quinn felt the intended sizing was appropriate without too much space but allowing a bit of growth for the boy. Growth was inevitable both literally and professionally for the young shinobi.
With the glove portion of the gauntlet completed and the molds primed for the metals to be condensed and poured, Quinn gave a resolute slam onto the workbench's face before getting the metals together into the crucible to get the mixture right. The formula and ratio were not of Quinn's own founding with the resources that were discovered with the expansion of the village into what it is now. Thinking on this, Quinn went ahead and made a few more crucibles with different ratios of the mixture that Zidane was able to formulate. "No harm in trying." Quinn shrugged at the idea and concept and felt adventurous in nature at this moment. It had been too long since they last forged for a specific piece of equipment for someone and as such took joy in actively participating in the process for once over some other circumstance.
With all the crucibles going, Quinn began to get some of the other parts of the equipment to be made which was the armor. The style had been predetermined and as such, a lot of the fabric materials were already present and available at the forge to utilize in the creation of armor on demand. With Hanzo's measurements and general body shape known to Quinn from their initial encounter, the Forgemaster was quick to sort through the needed amounts before the crucibles were finished. One by one Quinn pulled them out of the kilns and poured a test of each mixture they made into an ingot mold to assess the differences between the various ratios. After finding the one Zidane landed on being the best, Quinn smiled at the handiwork of the young man. "Quick growth. Good for the village." They commented before finding a bigger crucible to pour the bad ratios into them saving for later when there was time to fix them.
With the crucible ready with the appropriate ratio, Quinn proceeded to get the finger molds to have the correct amounts poured into them before repeating the process for the plates that went around the wrist and the back of the hand. It would take some time after to cool and to be tested so Quinn went back to work on the armor that would need to have the utmost durability to keep up with the rather ambitious Uchiha. Getting different pre-fabricated plates, Quinn began to collect the allotted amount of the alloy plates and organized them into the designated locations for the armor with the canvas of fabrics to keep the subtlety of the equipment hidden from the generic, untrained, eye. Proud of being able to maintain and multitask as before, the Forgemaster continued the process after taking a break from the gauntlet to work on the armor.
The sun continued its arc across the sky as it was nearing the typical morning hours of the day. Once the molds were finished setting, Quinn pulled out the metal armor pieces giving each a lengthy independent inspection before placing them adjacent to where they were going to be attached and used for the creation of the gauntlet. Per Zidane's instructions on the fabrication process of the trait, it would require a bit of flowing chakra into the actual gear when it was made. Quinn experimenting with the ratios also attempted this process at that time. It was just like using chakra infusion into gear except it was more aligned to just focusing and expending the chakra into the admixture of metals. Satisfied with the results and each piece was reviewed, it was time for consolidating all the gear into its place for the gauntlets.
Attaching the metal pieces to the leather glove, Quinn took pains to make sure they were all equally secured and fixated onto the joints. With the hand model that they used being flexible, Quinn was able to test and adjust the gauntlet whenever they needed to get to the crevices between pieces. "Hard to clean. Will make note." They chimed in getting small rivets in place to secure and adhere the plates into place upon the gauntlets. Once that was finished it was onto the armor and at that point Quinn knew the process was going to be a quick and easy one for them. Once the folds were made to the right specification, it would a simple task for the blacksmith to get every plate in place, and with the request for 'Bass', Quinn made sure to reinforce the plates with extra linings to take defensive measures for Hanzo.
WC: 1,369. TWC: 1,925/6,750
The armor that was selected was Quinn's personally desired option actually. The 'Bass' trait to be added to the equipment would prove to help avoid one of the bigger concerns that Guren informed the Forgemaster of, surprises. Shinobi in the world can experience a multitude of encounters of varying degrees and be prepared for whatever may come, which has proven to improve the odds of survival on missions. Looking at their headband that hung above the workstation they were occupying, the Forgemaster smiled and nodded to themself. "Growth. Ever Learning." They stated once more as they continued their work on the genin's armor.
The plates that were required for this had chakra-reactive components mixed in to be able to handle some other effects that may not be as strong as breaking someone's femur bone. Being careful not to drop the plates, Quinn was acutely aware of the predicament it could be if they bent upon impact. Metal typically does not break unless exceptionally brittle, but they were aware that these plates were liable to take the brunt of impacts and disperse them to avoid further harm to the wearer. This meant care was of the utmost importance to handle the alloy plates to avoid damaging or impairing the armor's capabilities.
Once the plates were inserted into the fold of the cloth, Quinn was sure to keep the pacing going to make sure the order was made to the specifications and properly. Multiple mannequins were set up nearby and for go reason the Forgemaster moved to grab and selected the nearest to their station to avoid wasting time as much as there was not a rush to complete such a task, they did not want to delay any further than already they have. Hanzo was patient with Quinn's antics from what they were able to remember from their short stint of time working on missions together. The armor to take the place of what simple garbs were already within the possession of the young Uchiha was coming along nicely and once the armaments neared completion it was just a matter of time to test.
Moving to a different part of the forge, Quinn pulled the full set of armor onto a mannequinn and moved it closer to the station. Once fitted, the Forgemaster adjusted to the required and desired measurements of the Uchiha in no time at all. This was all just due process for them as the fitting of the armor following the procedural steps outlined by their meetings and discussions with Guren, allowed for such a masterpiece to be mostly readily available for individuals such as Hanzo upon request. Though the procedure did not initially include this portion, Quinn felt the strongest affirmation to proceed with this antic of testing. Picking up a metal bat, she gave some light swings against the armor to make sure all the plates were in their pockets within the folds of the gear. Clangs and clacks sounded off while the bat met the armor in different parts.
Writing and taking down notes as they went, the Forgemaster's antics proved correct as there were some plates they had missed or had shifted at the moment. With the armor now on the mannequinn, it was significantly easier to spot the issues and adjusted accordingly for the visible differences in concept versus reality making it for a small adjusting session for the blacksmith. As an armorer, Quinn's strengths did not align the greatest but their awareness of needs was unparalleled by their ability within the forge and for their eye for business. Having the forethought and sight to test out the gear in this method came to be an added note they included now for when others within Foster's Forge were to work on the commissionable items. With the proceedings of the armor going well now, there was little that needed to be done for it other than to package it up alongside the gauntlet they finished.
As the sun crept forward in the day it was a matter of time and effort before the forge needed to be rekindled for the billets that were to come. Hitting a gong, the boy from the front came running back chipper and alert. "Lunch break. Restoke the forges. Need them hotter. Two swords are next. Get the material on the station." Quinn stated plainly giving out a light yawn before pulling the armor and the gauntlet with them to a separate room. Once there within the confines of the space, boxes lay about before Quinn knocked a stack over to get the right size, not willing to clean it up, and scoffed it off as a task for later. Grabbing a second box for the armor, they swiftly found the right inserts and packaged up the two boxes covering them with their respectively sized lids. With that done all that was left to create and forge were the two blades that Hanzo had ordered. Two different blades with different capacities.
WC: 832, TWC: 2,757/6,750
The next step was to forge the blades that Hanzo had commissioned from the business. One blade honed and refined, traditional in all senses of the word, but sharp and clean to the highest degree. The other blade was one infused with the bonds and understanding of the shinobi arts, a Chakra Bonding Katana. A blade like no other that would claim ownership of the wielder, not allowing others to benefit from its edge. Such a blade to be claiming as a teenager would be blasphemous, but claiming a blade such as that for an upcoming shinobi was a no-brainer. As such with the dimensions known as both mirror each other, Quinn was prepped and ready to go almost immediately. Though this would occur after lunch and putting the two boxes to the side for when Hanzo showed up to pick up the requested items.
Lunch for the blacksmith was simple, rice and beans. Although they preferred alternative food options to what was available, they maintained meals of this caliber for when forging sessions were of importance. Prioritizing the efficiency of the day was what was needed and required and as such nothing major or substantial was in order for the simple nutrients of protein needed for Quinn to operate through the day. The body would not decompose under getting the base necessities taken care of at a minimum. In reality, a lot of this was due to the past forgemasters being known to skip on their daily dietary needs, and as such it became tradition within Foster's Forge to have rice and beans when a meal was required. It was simple enough that the help within the establishment could keep them ready and prepared but also make it when necessary.
Quinn, as the owner and operator of Foster's Forge, followed suit with their predecessors as a down-to-the-grind type of individual. Business was first and helping others was second, except that was not truly the case for the Fosters. People were always priority one in their line of business and as such operated with such ferocity and determination that it truly meant that their business was the people they supported with their items. Many would and probably do see the family as eccentric in nature due to this but, at least to Quinn's knowledge, no one would ever say they did not do their share. No one vocalized that the Fosters did not hold their own weight when pressure was put upon the village before even the development and creation of Otogakure in the Land of Sky. Not much else would likely be said about the family as they did not hold a true status as a clan before the development of Otogakure and even after.
Although the mind of the Forgemaster wandered, not much was happening during their lunch. It was quiet in the village though the sounds of hammers against steel echoed in the streets nearby. The sounds of an active forge were not uncommon though the volume had shifted and changed when Quinn picked up their hammer. Soon the echoes of progress and productivity would fill in the streets without much to wary of the world around it. Foster's Forge had slowly become more and more of the talk of the town and as such it was vitally important for Quinn to keep up with the orders and manufacturing of the items when they were able to and not occupied with other responsibilities. There was much to determine and figure out for the business but nothing would stand in their way to achieve the dream of the family as even though Quinn did not deign to have children at this time, there was much they could do to leave a legacy within the history of Otogakure.
WC: 629, TWC: 3,386/6,750
Quinn readjusted their mental as they returned to the forge, two boxes in tow set down upon the workstation. Those would remain there until the full order was completed as the blades were two of the hardest forges that would be required and asked of the veteran blacksmith. There was much to consider and especially with the second having chakra binding attached to it, Quinn would be required to adjust their workflow appropriately to accommodate for that change and shift in needs. Not much else was there for them to do when it boiled down to what was being required of them.
Being able to forge two blades at once would be fantastic but with the needs of the customer and knowing how good of blades they could produce themselves, the Forgemaster focused on this order themselves this go around rather than passing along the one order to another worker in the forge. It was going to take some time but getting the metal made in the ratios required would be the first step alongside getting enough to make the blade with a full tang to better support the swings of Hanzo once they were being used and in use. It was inevitable that they would make it to this point in the process and they pushed through from the hours and hours of work they had already done to produce the gauntlet and armor for the customer. Two blades to go and it would be finished and another day in the bucket for Quinn and Foster's Forge.
Proceeding with ease and numerical assessments, Quinn looked towards the ceiling of the forge as a multitude of thoughts and considerations were being made by the blacksmith in their process. At that point, Quinn would swiftly begin the process since the forges were prepped during lunch. Getting the basic blade done and processed would be quick and easy to consider when it comes down to it. Once the metal was hot enough, Quinn would pull the ingot out with tongs before beginning to hammer out the form of a blade. Swings were heard with heavy hits out in the streets as Quinn prepped and made sure that the sound of their work could be heard well beyond that of just the street where the forge was located. They poured their effort and desires into the first blade wanting it to be known that they were the best the village could offer and more than willing to put the time, effort, and dedication towards their craft and profession.
Repeating this process and cooling along the way, Quinn's efforts were matched with ferocity from the other smiths that were working at the time at the forge. Their own efforts were doubled on their crafts and tasks assigned to them watching their bosses' dedication and effort. They rallied behind them and began their own work with renewed vigor and drive to complete their own tasks. Slowly as the afternoon progressed, all the hammers were beginning to swing in unison. Causing a rhythmic cadence to be created that began to echo within the streets, Fosters' Forge began to stir up business with people asking about watching and learning more about the practices that were going on. The young shop hand began to become overwhelmed before stepping up and getting the patrons asking questions out and keeping the ones seeking business inside. It was a rather chaotic way for the afternoon to start but it stirred and drummed up business and as such it was worth it in the end.
Within the forge itself, Quinn was hard at work folding the metal and getting the start of a blade formed from the fires of the forge. The shape began to take the form of a traditional katana within the hands of the Forgemaster before being quenched finally. From there it was honing and sanding the blade to become as sharp as it was needed to get the job done. Soon enough a blade well forged began to reveal itself to the blacksmith. It had taken a few hours longer than anticipated but it was well worth the time and effort they could muster on this day to get to this point. Once the blade was in full swing of its capabilities, Quinn moved on to creating the handle, adding the Uchiha's symbol in the middle of the grip signifying ownership so if something were to happen it would end up back to the clan at minimum, whereas on the other side, the Otogakure Note Symbol was displayed allowing for recognition of where the blade hailed from. Wrapping the hilt to properly secure it alongside the symbols on the hilt, Quinn gave a quick slash in the air listening to how it sounded, feeling how it moved, and watching as it cut the air before them.
Satisfied with the end result, Quinn would then create its sheathe and find another box to put it in. Wiping sweat off their brow, and adding it to the collection of boxes for Hanzo, the Forgemaster plowed ahead as their task was nearing its completion. Another blade to make and then there were the standard requests to be conducted and created over the course of time for the business. Fosters' Forge had grown considerably and perhaps it was time to invest back into the business for Quinn. Giving themselves a small pat on the back, they returned to the process to begin anew for the next blade was a special blade, one infused with chakra and not in the standard shinobi sense. This one had chakra-infused elements and capacities and would be by far the hardest piece of weaponry they would have had to make yet.
WC: 954, TWC: 4,340/6,750
Quinn took to the forge like a monster in a forest after the first blade was made. They barreled their way onto the next blade as they worked to complete the second of the two blades to be made and put together from the billets they prepped before departing for lunch. With a meal in their belly and the forges restoked for the crafting ahead, the Forgemaster proceeded without slowing down or hesitation when it came down to the beginning of the process. Billets were put into the kilns to heat and melt before more billets were made to be used for other tasks with making the blade should an issue arise. Quinn prepped the extra to make more rather than in the case of an issue arising to use as a backup. Confidence was ever present in the blacksmith as they went about their business as ever-steady as before in their presentation of their skill and craft. There was much to consider for the request as of two blades one was simple and mindfully a regular request long ago before the Shinobi Village came to. Simple, refined blades were not necessarily a dime a dozen but were tools used for those in need of either protection and offensive capabilities or status to showcase the wealth necessary to dissuade confrontation. Aware of the changing of time, there was minimal filigree to be used and made on the blades themselves as once the billets were ready to be used, Quinn pulled them out of the kilns ready to begin the forging process.
With tongs in hand holding the ingots freshly forged and hammer in the other to begin the process, the Forgemaster's strikes were precise and heavy with the hands holding the tongs becoming infused with chakra as they did the same with the hammer. Each strike extended the chakra they possessed into the metal and the blade itself. There was a level of uncharted waters that the forge had to encounter with this request but it was one that Quinn took up in open arms as it was bound to be a good resulting action should Quinn succeed to a large degree. The hammer strikes were bouncing between the edge and the back of the blade, aiming to layer the metal in such a fashion to almost forge chakra into the material itself beyond just infusing it. There was much to be attempted and tried with such actions. There were many future orders to be made. This being the first of many future orders was to be an interesting development for Fosters' Forge as the world around Quinn was tuned out as their focus was so attuned to the blade as they worked on it. Finding the rhythm inside of their own heart to the forging of the blade, Quinn stood, hovering over the work they were doing, sweating profusely at this point in time.
The blade finally began to take form as this one itself was more unique in its coloration of metal. The chakra that Quinn infused gave it a light tan coloration giving almost the appearance of dust on the metal however as the process continued and the blade was quenched with oil, the coloration appeared to have almost melted off as the fine blade itself appeared almost as if it had varnish on it already. With a good edge to refine now, the Forgemaster continued their process into the late afternoon as they proceeded to use leather bands, taught to help round the edge after sanding and gritting the blade's bite to a razor-sharp finish. With the blade itself created and the handle needed at this point there was not much else for the blacksmith to worry about as the creation of the weapon itself proved to be one to be cataloged and recorded at minimum as Quinn marked the blade with a single digit above where the guard would lay against the full blade and tang, a lone Q beside it, signifying the maker and its numeric of ordering. Quinn heaved a heavy sigh with the finalization of metal before grabbing some cherry wood to give a warm touch to the blade.
The carving of a block of wood to give the handle itself life and form was a tedious project as this time around Quinn skipped the filigree and fancifulness of what they did for the regular sword. The world around Quinn reattuned to themselves to hear the sparks of other workings and other watching eyes as the wrapping of the hilt was a prestigious moment of the blade-making process. It signaled the final moments of the blade-making process as it was the last part of the process before the scabbard or sheath was formed onto the blade and put together as a fully presentable package. With the blade itself being well forged and finished now, Quinn took the blade and did a quick slash in the air feeling the edge clipping the wisps of heat that radiated from the forges beyond the reach of the blade. Satisfied with the result, the chakra blade in Quinn's hands radiated a bit before they began pushing their own to get a feel for the metal to see if the creation and forging were a success. Feeling the connecting moments, Quinn pulled their chakra back before finding it a sheath to place the blade into. The last piece of the order was completed and now it was time to get it all set up to be presented to the young genin known as Hanzo Uchiha.
WC: 928, TWC: 5,268/6,750
Upon completion, there was a total of four packages that sat on top of the countertop with Quinn sitting behind the counter, soot covering their form alongside their visage. Their eyepatch was removed revealing a clean line across their face as a stark difference between the cleanliness of what remained under the eyepatch and from the work they had just accomplished. They had sent word to Hanzo to meet on this day at the shop for his review of the items being requested. It was not a crazy thing to consider timeliness for others and realistically Quinn would wait for his arrival and appearance even if it was after store hours. He was considered a friend to the Forgemaster as one of the few whom they had interacted with on a more regular basis. The village of Otogakure proved busy for many individuals and encountering others sometimes proved to be difficult on occasion. On the counter laid two square boxes, a larger one allowing a smaller one to lay on top. The two boxes held onto the armor and gauntlet that was requested by Hanzo. It was a busy day and thankfully the prep work that Quinn did early before the sun rose allowed for the completion of the task well before the evening hours settled in the village. It was roughly an hour or two before most would take their dinner and for Quinn, they simply had a small bowl of salted assorted nuts to snack on for now. Beside the small tower of boxes was a rack that had two sheathed blades holstered and presented for the intention of presentation. The refined katana had the Otogakure Note within the hilt and grip of the blade itself facing outward for any who walked in and saw it. Facing Quinn, hidden from plain view, was the Uchiha’s Clan Symbol. In contrast to the rather prideful blade made next to it as a sister, was the Chakra Bonding Katana that took a bit more effort than the other. A finer sheen could be seen even sealed compared to the regular blade beside it mounted in the stand. It was a simple stand to present the items being requested and not have the blades simply lying on the counter for when Hanzo arrived.
Waiting at the front was not an often task for Quinn at this point in time. As such some of the other workers took turns checking in with Quinn and see how they were holding up since they went to take care of shinobi work more often than run the business at this point. This did not deter Quinn from continuing the management and development however as new facilities were on the way to help the forge maintain its prowess in the process of expansion within the village. There were many options available for them to navigate the business due to the accessibility of funds now that they had two sources of income as it were. Whenever Hanzo would arrive, Quinn would simply instruct the young genin to open and confirm the items were correct to the order and that the quality was to his liking. There was nothing worse to Quinn than an incorrect order. Thankfully adjusting them would be a simple task since Quinn had extra pieces lying around to accommodate changes should adjustments be made. With the specifications provided to Quinn from Hanzo, to begin with, most everything should be the correct item along with the requested modifications between the Otogakure-specific equipment developed here at Fosters' Forge. The blades themselves, Quinn took liberty with the normal blade but kept the Chakra Bonding Katana as a standard to the specifications put into the order. All that was there to do for Quinn until that point of time was to simply wait for him to show up.

- Appearance:
Quinn has sent word to the newly remodeled Hanzo to review his requested items. The Uchiha had the utmost respect for the forgemaster, they were one of a kind blacksmith in the village. Hanzo was also quite curious to see how the forgemaster would react to his new appearance. Not only that, the hatred for his father has become stronger, thus the reason to upgrade himself. The old Hanzo was longer there, this time the atmosphere about him had changed, it was much darker. The Uchiha finally reached the forgemaster's shop and it was a sight to behold. As he entered the shop, he could see his packages on the desk stacked up. The Uchiha greeted the busy Quinn and began to look through the items. As expected, everything was made in high quality and to his liking. Looking at the items, the Uchiha felt confident and was raging inside thinking about his father. "Thank you Quinn, everything is in order!" he said with a polite smile at Quinn. The Uchiha reached into his pocket and paid the forgemaster.
Hanzo adorned the Gaia's Gauntlet on his Left Hand and wore the Honuan Armaments. Then he proceeded to sheath his Refined Katana on his back. The Uchiha would then proceed to perform the Ox - Horse hand signs and use the Armoury Seal on the Chakra Bonding Katana that was laying flat on the desk, in the view of the forgemaster. Once the technique was successfully completed, it would vanish into thin air. The Uchiha made this decision in order not to carry many items around and in order to use this weapon as an element of surprise. Not only that, he had plans to upgrade his Chakra Bonding Katana further in the future, which then he would approach Quinn once again when the time arrives. As the transaction was completed, Hanzo bid his goodbye to the forgemaster and left.

Quinn's posture shifted when Hanzo walked into the shop at this time he had a different air to him than previously met. There was not much spoken by the genin but a simple nod and affirmation of arrival was given and granted to Hanzo. The world was a variable place to be in and for Quinn dwelling on details that did not concern them was not an issue to linger upon. Giving a returning smile, they gestured to the items for them to inspect and to try out to see if there were any issues at all, which Quinn suspected naught due to the effort they imposed onto the metal in front of them. It was a long process to consider and enjoy but it was one that was quite simple in nature, though the Forgemaster would soon find other avenues to allow for better means of production for the forge as another sizable deposit of finances would soon drop onto their doorstep with this purchase. Thankfully Guren had been kind enough to help get Fosters' Forge off the ground with the help along with Satoshi's order for the academy. Hanzo's purchase totaled roughly half of what was dropped upon the first day back in the forge and for that, the blacksmith was grateful for his patronage of the forge.
Watching Hanzo unpack and inspect the items for their quality, Quinn's stoic nature kept a plain face upon their visage as Hanzo tried on and equipped the items in front of them. Nods of approval could be seen by Quinn as the young Uchiha was blistering with ferocity in the items that were granted. It was a beautiful sight to see for Quinn as there was much to reel from the recent events of the festival and with developments of one's own strengths, Hanzo's reaction is what Quinn loved to see. Enjoyment and confidence were beaming from their acquaintance, now friend, with acquiring the gear. "Good to see. Fits like a glove. Maintenence is important. Check in once a while. Will do repairs too. If need anything else. Know where to go." They started to say as they handed Hanzo a complimentary gear cleaning kit for the blades, explaining the usage and benefit of proper care. As much as Quinn was aware that Hanzo also specialized in Bukijutsu, it was part of the process as Quinn would never let anyone walk out without a small info dump of equipment care. This would likely be no surprise to the genin as this was simply just how Quinn operated.
With the money placed on the counter, Quinn moved the coins to the small safe below the counter not counting it in front of Hanzo as it was simply rude but also because the Forgemaster trusted the young Uchiha. There was not much else to be considering or thinking about as Quinn watched them perform a technique of placing a seal upon the Chakra Bonding Katana before it disappeared into a small veil of smoke. Giving a nod to him, Quinn chimed in before his full departure. "Make sure. Attune to it. First attempt forging. Need to know." They explained that there were not many purchases of such an item so far from the forge so for the sake of making sure that Hanzo got what he was paying for, they wanted to make sure that he would let them know the next time they interact that the blade was in fact able to bond to him. It would likely be in the future that they got the confirmation but it was not Quinn's concern too badly should there be an issue as they were confident that there was not. With Hanzo decked out with his newly created items, it was a simple transaction to complete once the Genin departed from the forge now it was time for clean up of the items as the boxes were more for storage, and considering they did not make it in the box to their final destination, it was up to Quinn to put them back which was fine by them, saved some Ryo.
Heaving a heavy sigh as they tend to do after laborious days, Quinn closed up shop with Hanzo's departure and took the boxes back to their intended storage room as Quinn's assessment of the arrival and departure of the genin posed a bit of an odd thought in their head. They were concerned with the boy's eyes as Hanzo always seemed to be a kind soul when they first met but something was lingering heavy in his mind or heart, or worse to Quinn's imagination, both. Shaking their head it would likely boil to a problem later down the road but it would be something that would likely need to be dealt with at a later time and hopefully before a dangerous and risky mission would be undertaken by the genin. It was likely nothing that concerned the Forgemaster but it was something that they were aware would likely stir some emotions amongst the genin of Otogakure.
