Mission: Any Roof in a Storm
- Jun:
As Jun came to consciousness that morning she could feel her head pounding in her skull. She may have had a bit too much to drink the night before and was now semi-regretting doing so. She could hear Junko knocking on her door, in an attempt to wake her up. Apparently, Junko had a handful of tasks that she wished for Jun and Kiko to attend to. Climbing out from the bed, she’d answer the door and inform Junko that she was awake.
After getting dressed she’d stumble downstairs and make her way into the kitchen. There she found Junko preparing the three of them breakfast, it also seemed as if everyone else had left that morning. She internally chastised her for being a late riser but didn’t mention it to Junko. Soon Kiki arrived back home from her morning stroll and sat at the table near her. She couldn’t help but feel Kiko’s judgmental eyes linger on her for a few moments. Junko must have felt the tension because she started to speak with them.
With breakfast completed, Junko would inform her “sisters” of their tasks for the day. Jun couldn’t say she was excited to get out of the home, she was still adjusting to being a fully created person after all. Jun and Kiko would leave the home shortly after Junko, and then they’d head over to their neighbors. Kiko jumped into action repairing the spot that was leaking, and Jun went to speak with the homeowner.
A middle-aged woman would open the door, and Jun would introduce her and her “sister.” They would discuss what all needed to be fixed, and how much they’d be getting paid. After the discussion was finished Jun joined Kiko on the roof and began to repair the roof as well. However, as she began, she tripped and nearly fell from the roof. Kiko, with her lightning-fast reflexes, was able to just catch her before she plummeted.
When the job was completed they took the proper payment and headed off to their next
assigned mission.

- Kiko:
It was a rather cloudy morning that day, and Kiko had risen with the sun. Before others in the house would stir, she would take a quick walk around the neighborhood. Unlike her creator, Kiko wasn’t the most social person. She had an air of confidence similar to Junko, however, it didn’t translate into inspiration. Kiko was quiet, reserved, and significantly less friendly to most of the people she encountered. She wasn’t rude or nasty, mostly just neutral to her surroundings.
Upon returning home, she would find Junko making breakfast for everyone who was currently home. She couldn’t help but feel a bit of disdain for her creator, she was seemingly so happy and cheery to everyone but on the inside was a bit twisted. As breakfast ended Junko would give Jun and Kiko their missions for the day, and soon exit the house potentially with Ren following behind her.
Kiko would look to Jun, who genuinely didn’t have much going on and seemingly was recovering from a hangover. A sigh would escape indicating her contempt at the situation she found herself in. Without exchanging words Kiko would promptly leave the home, she would keep pace with Jun however if she followed her out. Their first task was simple, they needed to fix a part of a neighbor's roof before it started to downpour.
Thankfully when they arrived all the supplies were already outside and near the source of the hole leak. Kiko promptly got to work as Jun discussed the issue with the homeowner. Soon Jun came out to assist Kiko in fixing the roof, however, due to her two left feet she nearly fell from the roof. Thankfully Kiko used her fast reflexes and was able to catch her before she plummeted.
With the roof now fixed, they moved on to their next mission.

Mission: A Bit Fishy
- Jun:
Their next task was to head to the nearest dock and assist an old man in running his fishing boat. Apparently, his son wasn’t helping around the home and he needed somebody to help catch fish for his stall. From what Junko had said, the old man seemed a bit..unhinged, but not a threat to anyone other than his son. Jun hated the thought of being out in the scoring sun all day, she would much rather be inside lying comfortably in her bed. However, how could she say no to Junko?
As they walked Jun attempted to speak with Kiko, but was met with one-word answers or no response at all. Soon they would approach what looked to be a run-down shack, next to a cobbled-together pier. Jun would take the lead and approach the door. After a few moments, an elderly gentleman slowly opened the door. He greeted the girls, and Jun explained the situation. After some discussion, it was decided that Kiko would go find his son, and Jun would assist him on the boat.
Soon the group would split, and Jun would assist the man in packing up some supplies for their trip. The man's boat was a rather small sailboat and seemed to be just barely in floating condition. She wondered if the ship would go down, would the man even survive getting back to shore, would she? She decided to drop the thought and enter it regardless.
For roughly 3 hours they sat on the sailboat and came back completely empty-handed. Once a shore the old man stated that Jun was simply bad luck, however, she believed he was just a bad fisherman. Upon reconnecting with Kiko, Jun would learn that she had found the man's son at the local inn, passed out in one of the booths. After payment and thank yous were exchanged, the girls began wandering to their next destination.

- Kiko:
Kiko walked quietly to the destination, keeping pace with her “sister.” Jun would often try to begin a conversation but would be quickly shut down as she realized Kiko was completely uninterested in what she had to say at most times. She often felt like small talk was just a way to deal with uncomfortable silence and nothing that actually held any meaning. Her attention would mostly be on her surroundings, though they hadn’t been trained nearly enough she still made an attempt to remain alert.
Junko had promised to teach them some water techniques recently, but she has been too busy working and spending time with “that guy” who lives with them now. It seemed as if she had discarded her creations for more important things in her life. Perhaps she would need to find herself a teacher, and then ask Junko’s permission. For now, she would remain unsure, but the thoughts would fade as they approached what looked to be the man's home.
Jun would take the lead one more, and begin speaking with the man. However, Kiko was volunteered to go look for the man's daughter. She was slightly upset, she felt like Jun was going to spend her day lounging in the sun. Where Kiko was actually going to do the hard work in having to find the man's son. However, she didn't want to bicker in front of the customer so she just nodded and silently accepted her fate.
The man would explain that his son was a regular and was probably passed out at one of the nearby bars. Kiko knew of a few that were close but recalled seeing someone who fit his son's description in one of the bars on a previous night. She had been looking for Jun and had saved her from sharing the son's fate. Upon splitting, Kiko would head to the bar she recalled previously, in hopes that his son was there. To her surprise, she was able to find him slouched over in a booth. She would then purchase a cup of water, and promptly dump it on the man's head. Thankfully this seemingly woke him up, and she informed him of the situation. Reluctantly he agreed to return with her to her father's home.
After returning, they would take the money from the man and head towards the nest stop.
