Re: The walk of a new man

In Kutari's new form, this new personality commands the body and moves it with a purpose and presence that distinguishes him from the man he was just before. With a newfound clarity and determination, he strides through Tsukigakure, the weight of this transformation evident in each step he makes. The village was full of bustling life and familiar fighting, conflict, rebirth, and growth scenes. All of these aspects meant so much more to Kutari now. Only one aspect of the village seemed to be lacking, and that was a particular place for his perfect clan to begin their growth; their populace was without a proper meeting place within this village, and it was time that to change.
He had scouted the village for a while, analyzing each piece of the town to determine the perfect place for his people to gather. It wasn't until he reached a rather discreet neighborhood that he realized it was perfect. It was defensible and hidden so they could have their meetings without hassle from those in higher positions within the village. It was perfect in every way, and he decided that this would be where he would build the foundations for the clan within Tsukigakure. It wouldn't be easy, but he was now more than ever determined to make a difference for his people.
He walked through the area, and he decided that he was going to claim this area for his own. It was utterly unpopulated, which was normal for a village in its infancy, but the buildings were essentially already put together; the only thing he needed now was the means to put a relatively large number of people within the building at once. In short, he needed a meeting room fit for hundreds of clansmen and women at once. He had planned out the renovations to the central building within the neighborhood, and he decided that this was the building that would house the council meeting room.
The building itself was rather large in its construction, looking like it would be a dedicated community building for the local area. What better community than the greatest clan of all the Shinobi world? Kutari entered the building, looked around, and carefully planned his next steps. The room was already essentially what he wanted, but he would need to rip down a few of the walls to make it exactly how he imagined the council meeting room would be. A few individuals would join him within the building, and they would offer their help to tear down the walls. Kutari would accept their aid, and together, they would tear the walls down from their current position. With some well-placed strikes with their sledgehammers, the walls would come down, and the room would open to an expansive gathering room.
He looked around and saw the building in all its splendor. The room was more expansive than wide, so the clansfolk could sit side by side on the floor and see the council. He could already imagine sitting upon a table along the back end of the room. Their table would stand tall, standing before the others of the clan, promoting the image that the council could see the entire clan at once and offering their guidance through even the most demanding challenges to the village itself and, more importantly, the clan itself.
The following step, now that the walls were torn down and there was plenty of space for the clan to sit and to be prepped for their missions and different duties within the clan, was to furnish the building itself. He envisioned that there would be banners with the Uchiha symbol embellished and brazenly placed at the center. He wanted their logo prevalent in the council meeting room and throughout the village to show their clan's pride in themselves.
He first needed a table for the council to sit at; the banners would have to come again as he had no means of creating such things. He gathered the materials required to make the grand table, which would not be a barrier from the council to the rest of the clan. Still, instead, it would act as a place of bargaining, understanding, and, most importantly, camaraderie between the council and the rest of the clan members; after a few hours of work sanding and staining the wood, lashing them together with nails and steel plates, and preparing the table until it was completed. His fellow Uchiha would craft the chairs, putting them together in a beautiful fashion that was indeed something to behold.
He hasn't realized it yet but has already learned his dream. The work between Uchihas and other members of the village is excellent. This new personality realized that he needed to be going by another name, as he didn't want to be categorized under the waste that was the original. He already knew what name he wanted to go by to introduce himself to the others as Kagutsuchi, but he would tell them that they could call him "Kagu."
With the work nearly done, the room was beginning to come together beautifully. He would try his best to speak with Daiki, his brethren, allowing him to understand his desires for the clan and how he believed that if we could truly bring together the clan members, they could become a rather powerful force within the world and a boon to the village of Moon. He took a few steps back to admire the completed handiwork, amazed at how perfect this meeting room was.
The walls were still relatively barren, and he would need to fix that situation soon, but for now, it was perfect. The room was quite dark as he had covered the windows slightly, feeling that it added a bit more discreet feel to the entire room. With a nod, he thanked the others for helping him with such a task before he heard some merchants calling out that a boy was heading to the Kage tower that had just destroyed some of their carts. They began looking to Kagusutchi and the newfound party for help, and he figured this was an excellent way to build relations with the Uchiha and the others.
Swiftly, he ran towards the Kage tower to find the child who had committed vandalism. He activates his new eyes, feeling his eyesight becoming far more powerful than it was before. He scanned through the horizons, and shortly after he began looking, he found a set of footprints that had some paint digging into the stone floor as if they were coming off of a vandal's footprint.
When he found the trail, he would alert the others of what he had seen and began to chase. The child was faster than he had expected, so he would channel the chakra ced from his eyes and spread it throughout the rest of his body, causing his speed to increase tremendously. He sprinted after the child, asking the others to head him off to the other side of the tower. As he rounded the bend, he could see the very child they were chasing running directly into the rest of the party as he was too busy running away from Kagu himself.
With the child apprehended, he would look into the child's eyes with his Sharingan active. When the child looked back into his, the child would see a life of misery and pain flash through his mind. The child would begin to scream and cry at the sight of such awful things, but Kagu would hold him there with a firm grip on his shoulders, forcing him to endure this treatment. "You must right your ways, child. Lest you become a miscreant or an overall waste of breath like many who call themselves shinobi, become a person worthy of being called such things. For this behavior does not suit someone worthy of respect."
When finished, he would release the child's shoulders and allow him to run off. The child was around thirteen, so he figured the treatment wasn't too harsh, considering his age and the deeds that he committed. With a shrug and a sigh, he turned to the group, thanking them once again for the help they could provide with the apprehension of the child. He began to walk back to the community building they had just renovated before hearing them being hollered at by an individual within a few meters of them.
The individual asked them to move a tenant out of their house. Kagu would rub the back of his neck, wondering how he was happening to be in the right place at the right time for so many odd jobs. He would shrug and ask if the party would also like to help him with this job. They would be off heading towards the landlord's home if they accepted. The man would explain that this individual was rather unsavory, finding himself into trouble in many different ways with drugs and the like, and he had enough and wanted him gone. Kagu nodded and decided they would go to the house to convince him to leave.
When they arrived, Kagu was appalled by the living space before him. It was run down, dirty, and partially dilapidated, with broken shudders and cracked windows. He sighed and knocked on the door, and waited. A few minutes passed, and there was no answer, so he knocked again. Again, after a few minutes, there was no answer. This time, he decided he was going to let himself in.
He reached for the knob, and it was locked. A small amount of frustration would build within his chest, but his mind was clear and calm as he continued looking for a solution. He moved around and saw a back entrance to the house as well. When he tried that door, it opened for him. He braced himself for whatever he would find within the house as he opened the door in a relatively slow motion.
The stench was intense, almost unbearable. He scanned the house and all of its disgusting features. Trash everywhere, half-consumed alcohol containers, it looked like a party had happened, and nobody seemed to clean it up... for a few months. Walking into the house deeper, he could tell that there was a stench of death within the home. Someone had died within this house, and it hadn't been cleaned up either. He went through the hallway and opened the first door on the right. The door opened with a slight stick at the knob, but he found himself, the tenant above, dead in his bed.
He looked to see that this was likely an overdose of sorts, as made evident by the paraphernalia to the side of the man's position. Knowing that he would not be cleaning this entire mess up as this was for the village's officials to handle, he left the house, realizing that there were many better-suited individuals for such jobs. Exiting the house, he saw the landlord standing there waiting for them. He explained that the man was dead from an overdose, it seemed. The landlord didn't seem very surprised, but he explained that his family lived in a house just down the street. If he had been so kind as to let them know what had happened,
Kagu nodded and began walking down the street. His mind was filled with the imagery of the day. The death didn't bother Kagu; it was simply a part of life. The way the man died was pitiful and on the verge of pathetic, but he didn't bother himself with such matters. He would knock on the door when he arrived at the family house. As it opened, he activated his Sharingan and told them that their family member had died and offered to show them the body for proof. The woman who answered the door seemed somewhat troubled by the news but wasn't very much moved, nor did she need to see evidence. She nodded, thanked them for the news, and slowly closed the door.
Kagu respected the woman's reaction. He turned to the others and thanked them for all of their help today. He walked back to the council room when they were done with their salutations. He had some banners to make.

Re: The walk of a new man
Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:44 pm
Hasu awoke early that morning, as she often did. The young girl quietly got dressed into her baggy pants and a loose grey t-shirt, not wanting to disturb anyone else within Junko's house that still might be sleeping. The blue-eyed girl tip-toed her way into the kitchen, hoping to find something quick and easy to make for breakfast. Hasumi wasn't an experienced cook by any means but she had learned a couple of things during one of her recent missions. She quickly got to work on making herself some eggs, silently wishing she had instead gone to Darkside for some pancakes. She knew she couldn't keep stuffing herself with 10 pancakes every morning though, as sick as she had felt the first time she had attempted the challenge the girl didn't think it wise to try and do it daily.
After preparing a light breakfast of some eggs and a piece of toast the young girl sat at the kitchen table and quickly began to eat. If there was anyone else up that early making food then Hasu would bid them good morning but not seem all that sociable. She wasn't exactly exhausted or anything like that she just that didn't want to talk to anyone unless she had to. The girl felt awkward and didn't want to speak to much, for fear that Junko's housemates might come to find her strange an unbearable to be around. The raven haired girl meekly moved through the household as she made her preparations for the day.
Wanting to get a better idea of what the village was like Hasumi decided to walk through the streets and do some people watching. The young girl slowly made her way down the street, watching as some of the natives and immigrants mingled and interacted. People seemed willing to leave Hasu be for the most part, giving her kind smiles if they did accidentally lock eyes while walking through the minor village. Every once in awhile someone would give her a wave, seeming to notice the Tsukigakure headband that rested just above the girls collar.
The girl saw a few interesting sights a she made her way through the village, but for some reason she found herself drawn to some construction that seemed to be going on. There seemed to be a bit of commotion, apparently a member of a prominent clan had staked his claim on one of the larger buildings within the village and was asking for assistance in putting the finishing touches on the structure. From the sound of it there was good money in assisting the man, so Hasumi opted to join the members of the man's clan as they began to assemble the structure.
The young girl wasn't to much help when it came to the demolition part of the job, she could barely swing the sledgehammer given to her. She gave it a few tries but after awhile one of the men kindly found her a more manageable task for her to do. She ended up grabbing water and picking up small bits of debris as the adults and stronger kids demolished a few of the walls in the structure. It seemed the man in charge, who Hasumi noted wasn't really all that old, wanted to have a large meeting place for his clan.
When it came time to work on a large meeting table Hasumi did her best to avoid staining the wood, instead opting to provide buckets of stain and tools with which to apply it to others so they could accomplish the task. Every once in awhile someone would look at Hasu and ask when she was going to get her hands dirty, but the girl simply responded by asking if the aggressor needed any water.
Unfortunately Hasu was only able to get away with her antics for so long and was eventually told to stain a chair if she wanted to get paid. The young girl feltgross as the stain got onto her pale hands as she worked on applying it to the single chair she had been assigned. It didn't take the girl to long but she ended up making quite the mess, her grey shirt now having a few stains on it. The girl knew that nothing could be done to save the shirt but she did her best to wash her hands once they were finished, making sure her hands were completely cleaned before she got back to work.
Resolving herself to get back to work, Hasu found that it wasn't to bad working for this "Kagu" fellow. He seemed ambitious but at least he was willing to get his hands dirty and work alongside the people he had tasked with completing his meeting hall. The girl could respect someone who asked a lot of others if he was willing to give the same amount of effort himself. As the work seemed to be finishing up Hasu noticed that the Kagu fellow was trying to converse with his clan members, and was curious about what he had to say to them. She decided against prying however, figuring it would be rude and she didn't want to anger a guy who was going to have such a big clubhouse for his family. If the large muscle bound fellow ended up showing up then Hasu definitely felt concern about offending the family, not wanting to get on the bad side of either young men.
As the crew began to finish up a few people thanked Hasu for her assistance, saying that she'd managed to be quite helpful for someone who'd never held a hammer before. One woman that had helped joked that Hasu needed to work on her muscles so that next time she didn't embarrass all of the women when she tried to swing a hammer, to which Hasu nervously laughed and said she would try her best to get stronger. Hasu began to pick up her own belongings as well, looking down at her shirt in dismay and wondering how she was going to get the stains off of it.
As she was about to leave Hasu heard the commotion involving the merchants ands the boy, followed by the declaration from the man Kagu that they would deal with the problem. The young girl looked around in confusion, wondering at first if the young man simply meant him and his clan members or if she had to help as well. Not wanting to disappoint or be rude Hasu did her best to follow after the leader of the clan, though she found he was nearly twice as fast as her and she quickly began to fall behind.
Unfortunately there wasn't much the girl could do except continue at her relatively slow pace. A few civilians would comment on her speed as she made her way past them, seemingly shocked by her and Kagu's display as they made their way after the boy. This only caused Hasu's cheeks to redden, embarrassed that the people of the village thought she was fast at all. She really hoped that this didn't somehow spark a rumor that would lead to her competing with someone who was actually fast, that would be terrifyingly embarrassing to have to deal with.
Hasu was barely able to hear Kagu when he informed the group to separate from him as he went off after the child alone. She watched as he suddenly picked up speed, moving even faster than before as he rushed down the street following a path of paint. The young girl quickly followed after the rest of the group as they made their way to intercept the boy. As she rounded a corner she saw the rest of the group manage to catch the boy, who had Kagu swiftly on his heels by that point. The Wall Flower watched from the edge of the corner as Kagu walked up to the boy, the girl realizing now that the young man had glowing red eyes with strange markings on them. Something about the eyes seemed familiar to the blue eyed girl, but it must have been something locked away within her memory link with her creator.
The young girl felt a cold chill as the young man looked into the eyes of the boy they apprehended, the sensation soon followed by the sound of the boy screaming. Fear gripped the young kunoichi, what did Kagu do to scare the boy so much? Was the boy so fearful that scary looking eyes caused him such terror, or was there something more to those crimson eyes? Hasu figured she'd have to take the boy in to at least be questioned, but Kagu let him go after striking fear into the boy. Hasu thought to try and stop the boy as he ran past her, but the kunoichi saw the look of fear in his eyes and decided not to bother him. She did her best to make note of his appearance however, if she spotted him again she'd hold these past crimes against him. Kagu may have given the boy mercy because of his age but as someone who was born into a body of the same age Hasu found it a lousy excuse for the boy's actions.
It seemed the group wasn't entirely done with their work just yet. Kagu had thanked the group again and it seemed like they were going to say farewell but another task was brought before them. Hasu didn't like this one so much, it seemed they had to kick someone out of their home. Hasu felt terrible that they had to do something like that, though it seemed the landlord had his reasons. Hasu wondered if the man could live with her and Junko and the others who'd been brought into the home, maybe she'd ask the village leader once she got the chance later. Deciding to tag along with the group some more Hasu did her best to keep pace with Kagu. Thankfully this time he didn't seem to be in as much of a hurry so the young kunoichi found herself walking side by side with him as they made their way toward the home of the tenant they were evicting.
The building was quite run down, Hasu wondered if it needed to be repaired or simply torn down with how terrible of a state itr was in. She wondered why the man would live in such poor conditions, it seemed like the situation would be quite unhealthy to live in. The Wall Flower waited patiently off to the side as Kagu knocked on the door, the young kunoichi posting up on a wall on the other side of the street as she waited. Occasionally she glanced at passerby's as they waited for the man to answer, giving them nervous smiles or slight waves as she waited for the group to be allowed in.
After sometime it seemed Kagu grew impatient, and the kunoiuchi watched as he broke into the house. Hasu wasn't sure how she felt about it when she first witnessed the action, but she quickly told herself they had the landlords permission so what Kagu was doing was fine. The young girl followed Kagu through the back door and into the building, feeling her body slightly shake with a fear of the unknown as she entered. It wasn't thatshe thought she would find something particularly danger when she entered, there was just a feeling of dread that filled her as she entered the filthy domicile.
Hasu almost followed Kagu all the way in, but from the look on the man's face Hasu felt that she wouldn't like what she'd find if she did. Opting to follow Kagu out, the young girl did her best to hold her breath until they left the building. The young girl remained silent as Kagu informed the landlord of the man's demise, unsure how she felt about the situation.
She remained distant as she followed Kagu to the house of the man's relative, the door answered by a woman who seemed upset but unsurprised by the news that was brought to her. Unsure how she felt about all of this, the young kunoichi bid Kagu and anyone else within the group farewell after they finished this final task. She thanked everyone for letting her work with them and hoped that they could do other jobs together soon, though hopefully they'd be more cheerful than the last two that they had to complete. Doing her best to muster up a kind smile, the young girl gave everyone a wave and departed to Junko's home.

Re: The walk of a new man
Thu Apr 04, 2024 4:34 am
It was a beautiful day in Tsukigakure when Kiko awakened, as usual, she felt the loving embrace of her darling Ren as she began to come to consciousness. They would begin their morning routine as normal, and upon completion, she would find her way to the bathroom. She had a pretty boring day lined up ahead of herself, and wasn’t looking forward to it really at all. Junko had requested that she walk around the village and lend aid to any who needed it. Since new people flooded the streets, people needed assistance with all sorts of mundane requests, and it was now Kiko’s job to lend them aid.
She’d take a rather long shower as she dreaded having to leave the tower. A bit of her was envious of Junko, she didn’t need to work hard anymore and instead was able to remain at the top of her tower blissfully. Though Ren was confined to his office regularly due to various meetings and paperwork, he at least took time to still engage in other activities outside of work. Waking up with him was a delight each morning, and falling asleep in his arms was more than enough to ease any anxiety she had held onto throughout her day. She couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for her creator, however. Kiko knew her creator to be a bit of a social butterfly so she was unsure of how being so isolated would affect Junko in the long run.
The water would soon grow cold, and with a disappointed sigh, she’d exit the shower. Quickly she’d dry herself off and make her way back into their bedroom. By now Ren had left to attend to his duties, so she found herself alone as she began finishing her morning preparations. She’d open up a large wardrobe that the two of them had been sharing and gaze at the clothing. Kiko would pull on a base layer of clothes, just a tight sports bra and some spandex shorts. Her eyes would linger on one of his robes as she considered wearing it or not. If she was going to be wandering around the bustling streets, she wanted to be provided with a little bit of comfort. His clothes would act as a reminder of the safety his presence provided her, and his commitment to her.
After simply thinking ”fuck it” and pulling his robe over her body she’d let out a content sigh. The fabric against her skin was soft, and his lingering scent instantly comforted her. Though it was a bit big for her since he was taller than her, she still decided to wear it. After rolling up the sleeves a bit, and pinning her hair back with a clip, Kiko would exit their room and make her way out of the tower. As she was patrolling the streets, seemingly she found herself in the right spot at the right time. First, she noticed a familiar young girl among the faces gathered around what looked to be a construction site.
Though Kiko didn’t know much about her, she did know that Junko was seemingly fond of her and that her name was Hasu. She contemplated leaving the girl there, however, if something happened to her, Kiko would feel responsible. Her face remained neutral as she approached Hasu, and made her presence known to her, but she wouldn’t engage in conversation with her. A bit of her felt jealous towards her because Junko had developed some kind of feelings for the girl. Her dear creator each night would send a clone to escort Hasu home but had never shown such a kindness to Kiko.
Before beginning the job, Kiko would ask a few questions to some of the people in the crowd. Though she had never heard of the man leading the charge with the construction effort, she couldn’t help but be impressed by his ambitions. After discussing a few things with some of the civilians, she’d learn the man's name, Kagu. Though she didn’t know much about the man, she figured it would be wise to inform Ren about him. After telepathically linking with her love, she’d relay whatever information she could gleam about Kagu to him. Once that was completed, Kiko’s attention would turn to the one at hand.
Quickly the crowd of people began working, first beginning with demolition. Unfortunately, it seemed as if she was one of the more physically capable people so she got shouldered with a lot of the responsibility. Quickly she found herself covered in sweat as Rens robe became a bit saturated. Not wanting to ruin it, she removed it, exposing her well-toned body. After putting his robe somewhere safe, she quickly got back to work demolishing some of the walls, though now she could feel the gaze of some of the others lingering on her.
She could feel the sweat pooling off of her body as she worked away in the hot afternoon sun. However she couldn’t complain too much, frequently Ren would pop into her mind and make some lewd remark that would leave her a bit flustered so she at least had that going for her. Mostly she’d keep to herself as they continued to work on the building, though she’d make sure to keep a careful watch over Hasu. Should anyone approach her and attempt to strike up a conversation, Kiko would politely listen but not engage too much. After all, she wasn’t here to make friends, she was here to do a job and get paid for her services.
Finally, the leader of the group decided he was happy with the layout, and requested that they move on to making the furnishing for the rooms. Kiko would float between the various craftsmen, lending aid in whatever task they requested. However, she’d find herself primarily assisting with the assembly of the chairs. As time moved on Kiko internally begged for the day to be over, she wished to return to her bed and the warm embrace of her dear Ren. Thankfully soon it seemed as if Kagu was satisfied with the work for the day, and just as everyone was beginning to disperse a yell could be heard from the street.
The group formed would be told that a young boy had destroyed some carts nearby, and had been seen heading to the kage tower. Kiko would look to Kagu as he began running off towards the tower. Noticing Hasu run after him, Kiko let out an exasperated sigh as she quickly grabbed Ren's robe and ran after them. Thankfully she was seemingly the fastest out of them so it wasn’t hard for her to make up any lost distance. She’d follow them along and listened to Kagu’s direction as he requested that they head him off on the opposite side of the tower. Kiko would simply give him a nod as she broke off from the group and blitzed her way to the other side.
Thankfully unlike her “sister” Jun, Kiko had inherited some of Junko’s grace which came in handy as she weaved her way through the bustling streets. Normally she was overwhelmed by large crowds, but while her mind was focused on the task at hand there was no room for anxiety as she flowed through the groups of people. After rounding the corner, Kiko seemingly was the first to spot the boy. While the boy was looking over his shoulder, she would simply step in front of him and stand unflinching as his body coiled with hers. She watched as he fell to the ground, and scrambled to get away from her. Quickly she’d gently grab onto his wrist and “detain” him while she awaited the arrival of the others.
Once the others arrived, she would release the boy as she watched Kagu seemingly strike him with some kind of fear. She was no stranger to genjutsu seeing as both her creator and companion both relied on it, though she was unfamiliar with the dojutsu he had activated. After making a mental note about her discovery, she’d allow Kagu to chastise the boy before sending him off once again. ”I’m sure I’ll have to make some sort of report about this once I return, Junko will want to find out who that boy is and make sure he’s alright.” she thought to herself as Kagu turned and began to thank them.
However, before they could depart from each other, seemingly another problem needed to be solved. Internally she groaned as she hated how eventful her day had turned out to be. Her muscles were sore from the manual labor, and she was slightly winded from chasing down the kid so she was completely ready to return home. Though Hasu seemed like she was still willing to help the man out, and like a lost puppy she followed him. A bit defeated, Kiko would follow the group but remained rather closed off as they approached a weathered and broken-down home.
She’d scoffed as she hated to see such a destitute building still standing among the new, finely made homes that Junko and her group had recently constructed. She wondered how it could possibly be up to code and was able to immediately clock a handful of fire hazards as she scanned the front of the house. They had been told that there was a tenant in need of eviction, and though she didn’t like the thought of throwing somebody out of their home, he clearly gave the landlord a reason to remove him.
Kiko would watch beside Hasu while Kagu attempted to open the front door and gain the attention of the ma inside. After a few failed tries, Kagu would make his way to the back of the home, and she’d watch as Hasu followed after. Once they were out of sight, Kiko approached the door and pulled a small bobby pin from her hair as she inspected the knob. She had gotten locked out of her room more times than she liked to admit so thankfully she had gotten rather skilled at picking poorly made locks. After a few minutes, Kiko easily was able to pick the lock and open the door.
Unfortunately, she’d immediately be accosted by a foul smell that seemingly permeated the entire home. She’d searched through the home until she came across the rest of the group as Kagu was entering a room, however, seemingly he would quickly enter after observing the situation. As both he and Hasu exited, Kiko took a moment to peek into the room and observe the slowly decomposing corpse of the tenant. She’d take in the disgusting mess that plagued the chambers as she opened up a telepathic link with Ren once more.
As she exited the building she informed him of the situation and then reconvened with the group. Kagu and Hasu would be found discussing the situation with the landlord, once he finished speaking, Kiko would also inform the man that the authorities should be by shortly to assist him with the proceedings. The landlord would thank them, and request that lastly, the group should go inform the man's relatives of his passing. Kagu would agree, and Kiko figured it would be good to take down their information to aid the authorities with the situation with the deceased. She’d remain silent as she walked beside Hasu, allowing Kagu to take the lead.
After conversing with the family about the situation, Kiko would take down their information and promise to pass it off to the correct hands. She then would exchange goodbyes with the rest of the group since she didn’t want to get wrapped up in their next endeavor and then headed back to the tower. After making her way up the long flight of stairs she found herself in front of Ren’s office door. She’d fix her hair, adjust his robe, and take a deep breath before enter his office, locking the door behind her.

Re: The walk of a new man
Fri Apr 12, 2024 2:40 am
Daiki woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his window in his home. The first thing he did was stretch out as he sat up from his bed, feeling the warmth of the sunny rays flowing in from the window. He got out of bed and looked out the window to his right, taking in the bustling of the village. Even this early in the morning the village was quite busy.
As he walked to his closet, he decided on what to wear for the day. He opted for a simple black T-shirt and jeans, as he had a busy day ahead of him. After getting dressed, he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and shave. He looked at himself in the mirror, making sure he looked presentable and ready for the day. He had big plans to help Kagu with the new gathering place for the Uchiha of Moon, as well as for the council of the Uchiha.
Once clean, dressed, and shaved he headed to the kitchen to prepare his breakfast. He opted for a cup of oatmeal and another mug of tea. Both smelled heavenly as well as energizing. As he sipped his tea he looked over the plans for the new building and where everything was to be set up.
After finishing his breakfast and tea, Daiki grabbed his bag and a banana and headed out the door. He had a meeting to attend in the city about buying a certain section of land and getting the permits, and he knew he couldn't be late or else. The village official seemed nice enough in his letter, but Daiki didn't know the man. He did understand that all he had to was sign a few papers, Kagu had taken care of the rest. And grab the blueprints for the building they were constructing. As he stepped out onto the street, he felt the cool breeze against his face, and he took a deep breath, feeling energized and ready to take on the day.
Daiki knew that the Moon could be a challenging place to live as it was so new, but he loved the energy and the sense of community he felt there. As he made his way to his destination, he couldn't help but think of the plans ahead and finally talking to Kagu. He made his way to the village when he reached the Kage tower and went down to the lower level to speak to Todd about getting the paperwork done and the blueprints. As he walked into Todd's office the man raised from his chair, greeting Daiki with a friendly smile and a firm handshake. Daiki returned the gestures in kind, hoping to have a nice quick meeting with Todd.
"Hey Todd, good to see you again. What's it been a week or so? Looking good man, tanning well I see as the weather warms up," he said smiling at the man.
"Daiki, always a pleasure. It's been exactly a week since Kagu and you made your way threw my door about the land. Thanks, I've been trying to get out of the office more, my wife and I are heading to a beach house for the weekend later this week." said Todd.
"That sounds awesome! Love to get to the beach sometime myself. I haven't been there in some time, Darkside is keeping me pretty busy. Hopefully, I'll get a day off and Jun and I can head down there together. I hope you and your wife have a wonderful time."
"Thank you very much, you as well, here are the papers that you need to initial and sign," lifting the papers out of the desk and placing them firmly on the desk. "Just sign here, initial here, and sign again here. Are you sure you want it under Kagu's name?" he said looking at Daiki with a bit of confusion.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure, he's the clan head and all. I'm just part of the council, although you can put it down that if anything happens to him it'll fall under the joint custody of Ryukki and myself."
"Sounds good, I can quickly add that and have you sign there."
"Perfect, thanks Todd. And thanks for the blueprints for the new gathering place. We're hoping to get started on construction soon, so I appreciate your help with getting everything in order," said Daiki as he was handed the blueprints.
"Absolutely, happy to help. And if there's anything else you need, don't hesitate to ask."
"Great, thanks again. Have a wonderful day Todd, come by Darkside anytime, next dinner is on me," said Daiki as he grabbed his bag and papers, ready to head out.
"You too, Daiki. Take care, and I'll keep that dinner in mind I've been yearning for some good food," replied Todd with a smile.
Daiki left Todd's office feeling relieved that everything had gone smoothly. He knew there was still a lot of work to be done, but he felt confident in their plans and excited for the future of the Uchiha in the Moon village.
As he headed over to the compound area, he met up with Kagu in the meeting hall. He was hard at work on the grand table they had discussed previously, he knew that it was his turn to do some more laborious work as he set the blueprints down at a table. He talked with his brethren, Kagu, still a bit of an adjustment having an older brother.
Daiki sat down with Kagu and they began discussing their plans for the clan, as well as how they could help the Moon Village. Kagu had some great ideas on how to bring the clan together, and Daiki was happy to listen and offer his own suggestions here and there.
They talked about creating more events and openings among the clan to bring the clan together and make them feel more like a community. They also discussed ways to help out the common villagers and offer their services to the community. They both agreed that it was important for the Uchiha to be a positive force in the village and to help out wherever they could, especially with the needy.
Daiki was quite impressed by Kagu's dedication to the clan and to the village. He knew that Kagu had a lot of responsibility as the clan head, but he was handling it all with grace and determination. He hoped to one day, also be able to model that level of grace and determination in himself. He felt he was going in a positive step by being a part of the Uchiha council of Moon.
After their meeting, Daiki felt inspired and motivated to help bring the clan together and make a positive impact on the village. He knew that it wouldn't be easy, but he was ready to put in the work and help make a difference. The next task was making the great chairs for the council to sit at. Quite the task, but one he was more than capable of doing. As he started to shape the wood, steel, and nails into place. He also made sure to do everything perfectly so the chairs lasted for many years to come. He took many hours from the late morning to early afternoon to craft, shape, and even sculpt these amazing chairs for him and his brethren to sit upon, as they presided over the clan. Daiki was not only a proud member of his clan, but he was also a skilled craftsman. His craftsmanship was always quality, and his chairs were not only beautiful but also sturdy and comfortable. As he worked on each chair, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that his work would bring joy and comfort to his brethren. As he finished up he cleaned everything up, and readjusted the new chairs waiting for the stain to dry, leaving a few signs not to sit on them for a couple of hours. As he stood back and admired his work he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as he added his finishing touch. Under each chair, he inscribed the lettering of his brothers and his names into the arms of the chairs.
As he looked back at his handiwork he was given a summons, it seemed one of the older members of the clan had passed shortly this afternoon outside of the village. Daiki is being requested to follow the messenger out and help to carry the body to their family. As well as inform them of the death of their loved one as a member of the council.
Daiki and the messenger set out for the borders of Moon, and they quickly made it to the body. Thankfully, it seemed untouched and wasn't to be discarded. They quickly covered the man, and both helped to carry him back to the village. They did so as gently as possible to bring honor to the dead elder. As they made their way back to the village and dropped off the body to the family, Daiki made sure to tell the family that if they needed anything at all to let him know. He also said the council would be of any help they could in this time of mourning. He left them a handsome amount of money as a token of his mourning for the dear elder. He also made sure to let them know he would be at the funeral the following week.
As he left the house, it was nearing evening when he caught a kid destroying a certain section of housing within the village. He took off after him, cutting in and out of traffic as he maneuvered the kid into a dead-end alleyway.
"Hey kid, why'd you have to go and do that? Cause now I gotta turn you in, and make you fix the damage you did to that fine house," with that Daiki activated his Sharingan.
He walked towards the boy, catching a glimpse of his eye and putting him in a genjutsu. He made sure the boy was fine before he got to him giving him an illusion of sleeping on a cloud. He carried him to the proper authorities and made sure to have his community service done to fix the house that he damaged.
To finish up the night Joro went on patrol around the village, he had one main task and that was to have a family evicted from a landlord's house who had made it clear they had not been paying their rent. As he made his way to the house he made sure to be ready for what lay ahead. It wasn't pretty but he made sure to have the family out of the house by the end of the night. He even gave them a few Ryo to help them get somewhere to stay for the night.
With a day full of tasks done Daiki headed home. Hoping to get some much-needed rest, especially because he had to do it all again tomorrow. He hoped Jun and he could go on a trip together soon. He missed being on the beach with her. He missed her even more though. He ended up going to sleep that night happy with the day he had, it was hard but worthwhile. He rested on his bed looking up at the stars. Wondering where life would take him.
