The external environment unfolded at a leisurely pace, characterized by a gentle drizzle originating from the overcast skies. The sound of the rain was nearly melodic as it cascaded from the rooftops and gently pattered against the window sills.


Inside a nearby café, the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries and meticulously brewed tea in various assortments greeted any patrons who entered.


Positioned at a table closest to the windows sat the raven-haired kunoichi. Her gaze rested upon the window sill, observing the rain droplets as they raced down the glass pane. Cradled in her hands was a warm cup of tea, infused with leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant. The soothing aroma wafting from the cup was calming in itself.


This café held significance for her, as it was the place where she initially encountered Hikari. The young woman appeared to be a delightful companion, although their meeting was both the first and only interaction they shared.

A café, a setting he was most familiar with. It had been quite some time since Ichigo had set foot in such a place, not counting his adventures in the Drunken Kage Bar of course. Wasting no time reminiscing about past debauchery, the blacksmith's son opened the door and entered the fine establishment. "Finally, out of the rain and into the warmth". Before making himself comfortable, he would first look around, taking in the atmosphere and wondering what they had to offer. In doing so, it wasn't exactly hard to notice the differences with where he usually went whenever in need of a drink.

Being it the first time visiting a place such as this, Ichigo awkwardly walked around until suddenly and quite possibly coincidentally picking up on a familiar presence. "Why am I not surprised seeing you here?" the Raikage voiced, taking a seat opposite of Meika. As he made himself comfortable, the Drunken Storm then called out to one of the waitresses to come and take his order. "So, what brings you here?". After all, she didn't exactly strike him as the type to sit in a café by herself.
