As a shinobi of Hyogagakure, you must honor your uniform: armor and mask. Retrieve it from Andre the Blacksmith and request him to make whatever minor modifications you prefer to make your armor unique to yourself. Your mask is custom made, and should be described in thorough detail. You may also request a single weapon from Andre, who will gladly oblige. Andre will inform you of the natural progression of caring for your equipment: upkeep, augmenting, and attuning.

Ryko had graduated from the Academy and was now considered a G-3 Shinobi in Hyogagakure. He was simple a step away from a promotion to C-1 though from what he could understand this was simply proving that he was strong enough to warrant such standing. It was a very fitting progression method for the young man, who had lived his life as someone who thought that one should hold the strength and power to defend himself and impart his will onto the world around him. It was how he had survived for the many years in his youth after his parent’s death and the reason why he joined the village overall.
 
Today’s task was a mission but it was more of a rite of passage for those who had succeeded in joining the village and joining its ranks of Shinobis. He was to meet with the village blacksmith who handled the commission of every bit of special armor, masks and weapons for the Shinobis of the village. He had already received his Armor and personalized mask though plain in its appearance at the moment due to his low standing though with time and improvement of his standing it would be reformed and shaped to match his own self till it was a unique and one of a kind set of equipment that increased his own abilities through its usage.
 
His mission was to pick up a weapon he found fitting to himself at the moment. While he had the armor and mask of the Hyogagakure want he lacked was a fitting weapon to use for his training and potential combat. His arrival at the forge was one of awe for the young man, seeing the birth place of the very weapons and armors that he used daily and took care of religiously was a fitting moment for the young man. You truly didn’t appreciate the work put into an item till you see how it was made and for Ryko he was being allowed that privilege now. The man named Andre worked tirelessly and swung his hammer as if it was as light as a feather with a lack of hesitation that spoke of his skill and ability. Ryko a normally impatient and brash individual was calm and patient as he awaited the man to be done with his work. Not taking his eyes of the man, wanting to sear the moment into his mind potentially for reference if he were to ever take up blacksmithing of his own. Maybe one day he would create his own weapons and armors that he would depend on to protect his life in deadly combat.
 
Time past quickly for the boy and eventually the man was done. He turned to the young man and gestured to the weapons on the wall nearby, “Choose one, I will make it specifically to fit you.” Andre spoke calmly as his eyes seemed to look into Ryko’s very soul. The young man nodded and searched the wall, that held many types of weapons of all kinds, from massive greatswords to the nimble daggers if you could imagine it there it hung upon the wall. For what felt like a great amount of time, Ryko settled upon a sword, it seemed to speak to him as if calling to his very bloodline. This, Ryko, would come to find out afterwards was a blade called the Fuyujinmaru, a sword created by Andre that hailed the deities of Yuki-onna a being that was well known to the Yuki people and of Boreas. There Ryko’s hand landed and with a simple nod from the blacksmith he begun his creation. More time passed as both men went about their work and at the end of it, Andre handed the newly crafted blade to the young man. “Wield it purely and it will never fail you.” He said coolly as he also offered instructions on how to maintain, augment and care for the blade as needed.
 
Ryko took the instructions to heart and adorn the blade onto his hip feeling as if he had finally become complete in his equipment for the moment. There was an itch to his desire to begin his training once more so he paid his respects and left the forge having completed his mission and headed to the training field.
