Grocery Shopping

Gaignun decided to take another mission this time, an easy one. Simply an E Rank jutsu. All he had to do is help some elderly people get groceries which shouldn’t be too hard, it’s just groceries. He approached their front door, and knocked on it. Upon knocking he stared, calmly waiting, not getting any answer. He knocked even harder, and suddenly heard someone yelling. It was faint but he heard. “Quiet down, I’m coming.” He paused and waited for at least three more minutes. Someone finally answered the door, as he sighed and waved. “Yes, I’m supposed to be taking you guys to the grocery store?” He asked as he sighed and nodded. “Yes, we posted the mission. Alright let’s get going son.” He said, as he waved his wife, who was moving at the same speed, and he had to wait five more minutes for her to come.

“The grocery store is just across the street, why did they need to file a mission?” He mumbled under his breath, as he and the elderly couple began to walk there. When they made it there, it had taken them at least forty five minutes which would have taken Gaignun three. Gaignun simply sighed and opened the door for them.

“Alright sonny, go in there and get us some prune juice, plenty of prune juice. Fiber supplements, some adult diapers, bread, non lactose milk, and some canned beans.” Gaignun cringed at the list and received the money to pay for the supplies, as he sighed, and nodded. Gaignun walked through the store, and got all the items the couple asked for, getting dirty looks from the people inside. He eventually came to the counter and began to check out the items. The cashier gave hima strange look every time he scanned an item as Gaignun groaned. “Look, these aren’t for me, I’m getting them for some old people.” The cashier rolled his eyes. “Sure, whatever you say dude.” Gaignun groaned, and paid for the groceries with the money the couple gave him. He sighed, as he carried the groceries toward them, and they both nodded and they all began to walk home.

After two hours of grocery shopping, with ten minutes of actually shopping and 110 of walking. They all finally got home and finished the mission. “Here are your groceries.” The old couple nodded, and smiled. “Your reward is at mission reception.” Gaignun nodded, and walked back to Mission Reception.
