The New Hokage

Daichi sighed. "Your report, Shizai?" The elder was the last one alive, so he was the one who decided who the next hokage would be. It would be easy to decide, whoever did the most work.

"Sir... I walked into the hokage's office earlier, with two ANBU guiding me, but when we opened the door, we saw him. He had blood running down his neck and mouth. After some time, and an autopsy, we found that he suffered from a major lung disease, which appearently is fatal if left unchecked. My personal theory is that the hokage beleived himself to be sick with a minor cold, seeing as this particular disease mimics the symptoms. With all due respect sir, we need a new hokage..." Shizai bowed his head to Daichi, a sign of respect to the elder.

Daichi sighed. He glanced at the roster of ninja and saw who the most active ninja was. He had done the most, and certainly proved his loyalty. There was one major problem, he was a gennin. Daichi sighed once more. The rank of hokage was based more on the loyalty and ideas for helping the village, not about power. Unfortunately, it would be hard to respect a gennin kage, especially a nine year old. Daichi narrowed his eyes. "Bring me Kenal Uchiha" Yes, it would certainly be the best choice. An uchiha, a noble clan, not only that, but he would be young, able to accept new ideas and hopefully change the corruption there was within the village. Daichi was old, he knew he would not live much longer, with each day he became more tired and less active. With a young uchiha as the hokage, Daichi could mold him into a warrior who would change the village for the better.

Kenal began to sit at home. Give up.. his body began to tell himself...Kenals suit was effecting his body. Corrupting his mind and making it dark. Then a small split second changed it.

~Enter Kenal~

Kenal stood in the world. Being consumed by the dark half...Kenal had begun to think through..What he would do next time he was here. He stood up and turned to his alternate...The alternate began to mouth its cruel sentences. And kenal raised memento. "I wouldnt speak...Be prepared.. I will not lose now..." Kenal inspected his old battles. Noting that the alternate always knew what he was going to do next. Kenal ran forward with no thoughts but...~Go For his side.. Right on the shoulder~ When he met the alternate. It raised a sword to his shoulder. And kenal slid on the ground. Cutting at the alternates wrist.. On the opposite side. Kenal had tricked the alternate. it began to bleed down. But with that..The small corner of the white side..Grew and grew. Eating at the death and decay. The alternate grew skinny. The sides had been equalled. Kenal ran forward with stern face. Sheathing his memento. As the alternate began to speak.. "Why fight it...We know that this is the better choice..Play dirty..Youll grow stronger..Trick them all...Never be beaten...." Kenal pulled out memento again. He would not speak back. The alternate had to defend the area he thought of. Kenal stood infront of the alt. And thought ~I will block a attack from the feet.~ And kenal placed memento on the jugular. And then..Sliced. Kenal stared at the body on the floor "Remember...The memory.." As kenal entered back to himself. The black was gone.

~Exit Kenal~

Kenal smiled. He stopped the suit from controlling him. Corrupting the mind. At that moment. Kenal put his hand on the door handle. And opened the door to a few ninja... "Umm..Hello!" He spoke

Daichi nodded. "You dont know why you are here, do you boy? Of course not... It seems the hokage has died." Daichi continued without a break. "therefor we need a new hokage... you are the most loyal person we have at the moment, and you are young enough to grow into the position, do you accept, if not, leave the office now." Daichi smiled lightly at the young boy before him. Surely this young mind would bring change to the village.

Kenal sat down. He wondered...Could he change anything for the better....It was worth a good shot...But if he failed...He diddnt know...Kenal sat still. Biting his thumb till it bled. Kenal stood up. And stared "I may not be able to...But i will try!" Kenal gave a thumbs up and closed his eyes. Smiling at the elder. Kenal. Wanted to try and change the place for the better..Kenal then swore to do the best changes. Not one fault shall be made!

Daichi frowned. Perhaps it was his old age, but he had little choice right now, this nine year old would be the new hokage. It mattered little. Daichi placed the hokage hat ontop of Kenal's head. Maybe he was senile, letting a nine year old become hokage, but what could he do?

Kenal looked up. As the hokage hat was placed on his head. kenal began to think...What could be changed for the village for the better.....Kenal then snapped his fingers and look at the elder "Excuse me for asking..But how do i Act as the hokage..Im 9..So i dont know exactly all the things. Just that they try and keep order, Issue missions...Am i right?"

"Yes You may select an advisor from the village, perhaps someone older and more experienced to help you with your duties, I am no ninja, and thus I dont know as much as some of them would." Daichi lied, knowing it would probably be the only way to get rid of the nine year old. That and he honestly wanted an older hokage right now, he was not the type to be teaching these things to a child.

Kenal looked up. And nodded. With that though. He looked up. Guessing it would be a good time..If he could make everything work. Kenal looked at the kage chair and just stood by it. As if the first kage was there...Still sitting and working on improving the village...What a wonderful thing. Wasnt it?. Kenal looked out the window. And begin to mouth his new nindo.

I will lead konoha to greatness! Or so be it i die!.
