Take it or Break it Empty Take it or Break it

Sun Aug 12, 2012 8:56 pm
Joseph smiled. Today was the sixteenth day of the first month of the lunarsolar calendar, at about one in the morning. The boat was still a ways out of Kirigakure when the driver sent a distress signal. “Time to clear out!” he yelled. He had already gathered the five he would be starting with: Kilik, Itsuka, Mukoro, Psychosis, and Rain. The five of them would be staging the attack on Kirigakure, alongside Joseph and Imperfections. Itsuka grabbed Josephs shoulder. Joseph grabs Kilik, Kilik Mukoro, Mukoro Psychosis, and Psychosis Rain. Rain would reach for the shoulder of Imperfections. Together, they would all teleport, STM getting them off the ship, even as the distress signal would send forces there. The first stop was a tower not far from the Mizukage's office. It was a tall tower, trees populating its roof. Mukoro and Kilik would exit the chain and Joseph would grab the shoulder of Psychosis to recomplete the chain. At this point, Itsuka would ready a jutsu. Mere contact would make it hit. Psychosis would open up the eigth of the great gates. What was he to fear? He was already dead. Then the rest of them still in the chain would continue onto the Mizukage, in a sort of J shape. It would be a rude intrusion when Psychosis would, as soon as they finished teleporting, reach out to the Mizukage. He would pop up to the Mizukage's back, immediately breaking out of the chain, wrapping his arms and legs around the Mizukage. Joseph would break out of the pattern and sprint a slight distance away. The steam would instantly surround his body, in amounts, volumes, and pressures nearly identical to when he had first met Kilik. “You do not stand a chance, Mizukage,” he would say if he had the chance to say so. Itsuka would have arrived such that he lied between the Mizukage and Joseph. His hand had already been reaching behind him when the teleport had happened, as well as his head having been turned that way, so it was not difficult for him to release the shoulder of Joseph as soon as the teleportation finished and turn to his left, as he had grabbed with his right, to allow his left hand contact with the Mizukage, making sure not to let Psychosis's body interfere. Rain would break out of the chain and quickly jump away. Each of the seven persons to have started on the boat would be wearing a mask made to filter out poisons and the like. Rain's would be down as the jutsu who's seals had been completed before the teleportation finished required him to exhale. The poison would fill the room. He would then quickly put his mask back on, prepared for whatever attack may come next.

Take it or Break it Empty Re: Take it or Break it

Mon Aug 13, 2012 6:31 am
It was a cool night in the village of the Mist. The village’s namesake hung low over the town. The tops of the building were just covered by the mist making it seem as if the heavens had descended down to earth. Nietzsche stood in his office with his jounin attire clasped firmly around his body-it had been a long night thus far. He had been tediously filling out paperwork for the past three hours. Though now, as the clock neared one in the morning, he decided to take a break; break was not really the right word it was more blowing off some steam. Lately Nietzsche had taken an extreme interest in the flying thunder god technique. In fact that was his way of “blowing off steam”: playing around with the technique. It was a great stress reliever. Picking up one tri pronged kunai he threw it at the door to his office while he left the remaining two on his desk. His office was riddled with small holes from previous nights. Just as he was about to start his teleportation practice an ANBU burst into the room. The ANBU started a rushed report of how some shady people had booted the crew off of a ship bound for the Mist. Nietzsche sighed: It was probably just some bandits, but he had to go check it out regardless. With the Mist lacking many ready and able shinobi the task fell to the Mizukage to deal with any major disturbances. Though a bunch of bandits hijacking a boat was not really a high profile crime Nietzsche had nothing better to do so he decided to go check it out. With a flick of the wrist he pulled a special cloth mask, that normally hung around his neck, over his mouth and nose. He had pulled the mask on, because it would help to better protect his identity as the Mizukage when he went in pursuit of the bandits. He then turned to the ANBU and told her to keep it on the down low that the Mizukage would be absent. The ANBU simply nodded and flickered away. Nietzsche did not want the whole dammed village to know that he was gallivanting around in the middle of the night.

Fully prepared to go take back the ship in the name of the Mist Nietzsche strode towards the door. His hand was on the brass knob when he remembered that he had left the flying thunder god kunais in their respective places. Shaking his head he reached his right hand out to grab the kunai closest to him: the one stuck in the door. Once his hand was mere inches away from the kunai all the hairs on the back of Nietzsche’s neck stood up as if someone was watching him, but he dismissed it until he felt a strong body latch onto his back. Not really sure what was happening Nietzsche would react instinctively. In his mind he reached out to the flying thunder god seal that was attached to the kunai that lay on his desk. The last thing he would briefly feel was another hand on his back, but that didn’t matter, because in a mere second Nietzsche teleported soundlessly to the kunai on his desk. He would teleport in such a way that the kunai was held in his right hand while he himself stood on all fours on his desk like some kind of beast. He would quickly take in the surroundings: there were four intruders, but now the tables had turned. The intruders would likely not know what had just happened and it would probably take them a bit to figure it out: a few seconds at the very least. Hopefully this would buy time, because to take on four people he would need the eight tails. At his will the dark power of the eight tails would spring out of his skin wrapping his body in a cloak of blackness: this was true power at work and one Nietzsche preferred to keep under wraps. A skeletal bull like ram would quickly materialize on Nietzsche’s upper right shoulder. With a swift blur-like stride he would jump off his desk and aim to barrel through the man who had a white mist like armor around him with the skeletal ram on Nietzsche’s right shoulder. The strength of the hit would surely shred the man to pieces if it hit. Plus the speed at which the attack would be executed would allow for minimal reaction time on the part of the "white mist" shrouded shinobi or any of the ninja in the room for that matter, but what remained to be seen was if the attack landed at all.

Take it or Break it Empty Re: Take it or Break it

Mon Aug 13, 2012 6:39 pm
((OK here we go. The part of the post where shit gets voided

At this point, Itsuka would ready a jutsu. Mere contact would make it hit.
The last thing he would briefly feel was another hand on his back, but that didn’t matter, because in a mere second Nietzsche teleported soundlessly to the kunai on his desk.
Well guess what. Your teleportation is voided. Itsuka has only one jutsu that does this, Dimensional Anchor Placement. Guess what that does? Stops someone from teleporting. Therefore, your use of FTG is voided, seeing as you accepted the hit of the hand on your back. Inb4: Not metagame, a simple safety precaution, seeing as I and two of my summons have space time jutsu, and I have met others with it. This is a simple safety precaution in case you were to have it as well.

he himself stood on all fours on his desk like some kind of beast.
Ok so seeing as you never teleported there would not be the time prepared by the confusion so you would not possibly have said time to activate the 8 tails so no 8 tails v2 for you.

With a swift blur-like stride he would jump off his desk and aim to barrel through the man who had a white mist like armor around him with the skeletal ram on Nietzsche’s right shoulder.
Seeing as you were never on the desk, this is voided.))

The steam pulled back from his hands. The gloves were on and powered. Two poofs and the staff would be out. Motes of things other than dust filled the air as Joseph grabbed the staff with both hands. The charge would build up. The staff would be swung, set not to steal chakra, as Psychosis gripped his tightest, squeezing with all his might, the end of the staff aimed at the Mizukage's neck, the shock of both gloves at first providing a jolt, and then stunning if contact was retained long enough, less than two seconds since two gloves charged it. There was only a slight difference in their strengths, and Psychosis had successfully interlocked his hands after jumping onto the back of the Mizukage. His whole strength was poured into holding his hands together, even as he activated the body revival technique. With the Mizukage's arm at his side, slightly behind his back (you didn't say otherwise and it makes sense in the situation you described), the other reaching forward, he would be unable to preform any hand seals. Itsuka aimed a crossbow bolt at the floor between the Mizukage's feet and it would pierce the ground just prior to the staff connecting. As the events of recent time had been proceeding, he had listened to the words of Imperfections through the ears of both of his summons. A simple mental command was issued and both spoke in unison “Give us a chance to escape, if we haven't by the time you do anything drastic, or these two will deal with you before you can finish.”

Take it or Break it Empty Re: Take it or Break it

(Just a few notes: 1. Ok: Zachariah goes from this, in his first post with no other movements to speak of:
Zachariah wrote:Joseph would break out of the pattern and sprint a slight distance away.
straight to this in his second post as if he were right next to Nietzsche when in fact he had "sprinted a slight distance away":
Zachariah wrote:The steam pulled back from his hands. The gloves were on and powered. Two poofs and the staff would be out. Am I missing the part where you approach me? Basically I am going to assume by swung you meant to throw the staff, because nothing else would make sense. Therefore my following post will reflect your attempt at that. 2. Imperfection’s use of a “clay doll technique”:
Imperfection wrote: It had all lead up to what had been certain that the Doll ,which had been given thought of and created by the tongues which sat in the hands of the young woman, with its white dough like feature, but its dark chakra had been dropped upon what had been he first target of the man Muk in the passed five minutes.
aka C3 is void due to the lack of preparation in accordance with the limitations the jutsu was approved with for reference here is a link: C3 (scroll down a bit). In summary it takes two posts to make the doll and one to drop it and seeing as there have only been two rounds of posting (he also only mentioned it this post) and no private topic of creation it is void.)

It became clear to Nietzsche, almost instantly for obvious reasons, that he could not teleport. Without that power he could not escape the man who was latched onto his back. It all culminated in the plain and simple fact: he was going to die here. As this thought crossed his mind his stomach lurched, but not out of fear. There was something moving inside him: the Hachibi. It quickly took over it did not want to die and it’s feeble mortal host wasn’t going to do anything. The eight tails had assumed control and the vessel of the beast was quickly filled with chakra so it was primed for transformation at a moments notice. It planned to show this whole village what a tailed beast truly was. This hostile takeover of Nietzsche’s mind happened in mere seconds after the failed teleportation attempt. The beast’s power was easily enough to overwhelm Nietzsche in his panicked state when his mental defenses were down. The beast had seen and heard all that had transpired and that would be enough. The beast’s plan for escape would be plain and simple, yet effective. The beast heard two slight puffs and a very short while later a whir. Inbetween the poofs and the whir the beast made the assumption that these poofs would signal its execution: it had to act fast. Now was the time to strike. No one would ever expect a frail white haired boy to transform into a beast of epic proportions. That would be the key to killing these intruders: surprise and brute force, which would in turn allow the beast free reign to wreck havoc on the puny village of the Mist.

A few seconds afer hearing the initial whir eight strong tentacles sprouted from the base of Nietzsche replacing his legs. These strong tentacles would not be idle as they would whip out with surprising speed and strength bringing havoc and destruction to the office; not to mention the people in the room. The people closest to Nietzsche would be the first to get hit. The closer they were the harder it would be to escape especially with the tremendous speed of the tentacles. The people who were further away in the office would have a bit more time to dodge the large tentacles though not much. A hit from the tentacles would be packed with power: the power to easily either crush or fling far off into the city. One tentacle in particular, not the left middle one, which would have crushed people diretcly behind the beast, but the right middle one was on a mission to execute the Hachibi’s wanna to be executioner. The Hachibi was able to discern the area from which the noise of the whirring, and not to mention a bit of talking from earlier about having no chance, was coming from and that was all it would need especially seeing as the office did not echo in the slightest making locating somone by sound that much easier. It’s huge tentacle would do the rest with a simple yet fast and strong smash that would surely kill the person who was the source of the whirring as the sheer weight, speed and strength of the blow would be more than enough unless the person had some trick up their sleeve. At the same time these events were happening the body and head of Nietzsche also transformed at an astounding rate. The man who was on the Hachibi’s back would probably be forced to let go as it would be humanly impossible, no matter how strong, to hold the expanding body of the Hachibi. Once, and if, the man had released, which would probably not take very long, the now free beast’s hands and arms would be used to clear open a hole in the roof from, which the beast would rise to its full height no longer confined to the office, though only after the tentacles of the beast had brought supposed ruin on those behind the beast. Once at it’s full height the beast would make a clockwise turn so it now faced the village. The turn would sweep the tentacles around destroying the rest of the top floor of the Kage building; not to mention grinding anyone who had been under the tentacles against the floor. With this turn the beast would inadvertently have taken down the main support pillar of the building that sat in the very center of the building, which would cause the collapse of the building, but that would be of little consequence as the eight tailed beast would sink down to the ground floor with the kage building falling down around the beast. Anyone who was around the kage buliding would be forced to move or risk getting hit by the falling rubble. Once on the ground floor the beast would open its mouth wide open bringing positive and negative energy into it’s maw in an exact ratio. What happened next would be anyone’s guess, the only thing for sure would be that utter destruction would surley follow.

((Ok this is an unfortunate turn of events. The clay was not actually void. Viper was supposed to inform you of that, but he apparently didn't. However, that fact..... doesn't really matter. You did not survive long enough.

A few seconds afer hearing the initial whir eight strong tentacles sprouted from the base of Nietzsche replacing his legs.
Effect: Can scroll through the scroll that is loaded into it incredibly fast with a whirring sound (entire scroll scrolled in ~2 seconds),
Spoiler:
Health: 43 {+17 when wearing Jounin attire}
Rank: S-Rank.
41-60 = An A-Rank jutsu could kill
61-70 = An S-Rank jutsu could kill
Execution by elephant ... The animals were trained and versatile, both able to kill victims immediately or ...
I have here all the proof I need. Now that the pieces are all together, let us begin. I do not need handseals to remove things from their seal. It would poof out behind me, where my hands would already be to grab it, going immediately into a toss. All my comments about timing and second in relation to shock would be mere mention of facts. In no way did I imply that I held the staff for multiple seconds. I admit I had meant to, but seeing as I had to toss the thing, that is an unfortunate reality. Moving on, seeing as I did not mention how long it was in my hands, I can vague myself into instantly thrown. Yes, vague myself. Now, by instantly, I do not mean literally instantly. I just mean that the toss started as soon as I got a hold on it. Now, imagine a tossing movement where your hand is behind your back, something poofs into it (and it is not a surprise when) and you toss it. IRL, it takes less than a second. You stated a few seconds. Before you use the scroll, look at the picture and the quote taken from my scroll scroller. Now, I did not state how close the seals were, and neither did you, so they could very easily be right next to each other. In fact, the first one could very well have been up at that start. Those together would create a time needed to go between them in somewhere under the hundredths of seconds. Well, by the time I even START the swing, Psychosis is caving in your chest, causing death by crushing your lungs and your heart. Seeing as it is an S rank technique, and your stats, even if you were wearing your jounin armor, are at the "A rank can kill" level, then it is not possible to argue that the hit, well, HIT! Now, you are dead.))

The Mizukage's chest cavity was crushed. Near instant death was his fate. It ended in a manner that Joseph most certainly did not expect. The Mizukage had failed to offer any resistance. "Were you even trying? Or did you just want to die?" he said, a bit of disgust in his voice. At the same time, both summons near Imperfection would yell out "CALL OFF THE EXPLOSION! WE KILLED THE MIZUKAGE!” Itsuka walked over to the Mizukage, and quickly moved the dead, deflated body into his realm. Then, Psychosis and Rain would disappear as the coffins reclaimed their body. Joseph would grab Itsuka, the staff and gloves being returned to their seals. Together, they teleported onto the back of the dragon with Imperfection. “Hello there, fine lady. Shall we finish?” Now, had the bijuu actually come out, the actions would have been a lot more interesting. Joseph would have ditched most of his summons that were within the building, they would be useless against this great beast. However, Itsuka would have jumped as high as he could. The transformation of the face would have ripped the mask and the motes of chakra would gain admittance into the eight tails body. Joseph would have disappeared into his realm before the body of Itsuka would have landed, and quickly been propelled to that spot within which Itsuka would have occupied. He would have moved back into our dimension, the puff of smoke appearing as he left, and then another as he returned with Itsuka to his dimension. The motes inhaled by the great beast would have allowed Joseph to move himself and Itsuka to the top of the beast and teleport out, right onto the head of the great thing, out of the way of the gathering chakra, and behind the sight range of the eyes. Such minor specs of weight would be almost if not totally indistinguishable from the debris of the roof. Itsuka would begin the swirling, and it would not be long before the Bijuu would be within a land made by Itsuka as said man would have teleported himself and Joseph onto the back of the dragon on which Imperfections rode.

Take it or Break it Empty Re: Take it or Break it

Fri Aug 17, 2012 7:18 pm
"Have fun, you can take the Kage spot for all I care," he said as all the summons save Itsuka were returned to their coffins. "Welcome to the nation of the sky, and the worlds of the kages." He would smile as he grabbed the lid of his top hat. Both were pulled down as he and Itsuka disappeared in a swirl. They appeared near the body of the Mizukage. But moments passed before the body was raided. Then, the oddest of things happened. The body bulged. Pulling away the shirt, it became obvious that this person was a Jinchuuriki. "Game, set, match" Joseph said, waiting to find which bijuu inhabited this body. He and Itsuka stood well back. The bijuu forced its way out, the eight tales. Within this realm, it was but a moment before the eight tails lost its will, controlled by the ovular prowess of the Sharingan. He smiled. "WELL LOOK AT THESE SPOILS!!" He would have Itsuka return them to the one known as Imperfection. "Guess what. The Mizukage had the eight tales. You want it? I have no use for the bijuu."
