Captain's Log [Private, ANBU Only]

After a brief rest after finding his Brother and the Kyuubi's regenerative abilities taking effect Echo Uchiha appears in a swirl directed from his left eye inside his office.

Walking along the edge of the desk his right hands fingertips sliding along the edge he moves towards his chair and takes a seat, he leans forward opening a drawer with his left hand sliding out a familiar white Mask which he lays on the desk.

He sighs glancing around his office for a few moments his goggles hiding his eyes from view as his gloved hand slides the drawer shut his collar gleaming slightly along with the crystals inside his grieves and the aforementioned gloves.

Five minutes pass before Echo finally does what he came here too do, channeling chakra too his Captain's Tattoo he broadcasts a message too all available ANBU "Meeting in office, 5 minutes" is the coded message translated from ANBU code, the original words simply a string of household appliances sounding like gibberish too those ease-dropping without knowing ANBU code...which Echo briefly wishes was something more mysterious...

He leans back in his chair waiting...not bothering with his mask this time.

Navi had been far outside the village in the country, walking along the border of the Land of Fire and the Sand Village. He was a long way from the leaf village right now, and his heart sank when he got the message.

"Meeting in office, 5 minutes"

Navi activated his Raven Style Kekkei Genkai fused with another special clan ninjutsu, giving him a short but desperately needed burst of speed as Navi jetted back for the leaf village. With all of these abilities active, Navi broke the sound barrier, traveling at a complete blur from the country border to the heart of the Leaf. Even though Navi was half way across the land, Echo would most likely still expect him to arrive promptly and in the designated time frame, and would tolerate no excuses.

At four minutes and forty five seconds, Navi burst in the middle of the office in a small cloud of smoke. He emerged from the dissipating smoke with one knee bent, and his head bowed slightly. As the smoke cleared Echo would see that he had arrived with his ANBU cloak and mask on, having slipped on the attire over his Jounin clothes while traveling at mach speed.

Navi waited for the remaining fifteen seconds to end and listened intently for the captain to speak.

Echo watches his ANBU appear letting a brief smirk slide across his face, Navi was the fastest in Konoha even Echo couldn't overtake him in raw speed without utilizing the wind...he just needs too learn how to keep secrets and follow orders a little better and he'd be bumped from combat squad straight to captain.

Echo sighs pretending too be dissapointed "Fifteen seconds too spare Ferret..? In my time the Captain wouldn't have even been able too finish his announcement" He states with a smirk "Course I am the strongest in Konoha..." he states as if he just something sagely a nodding of his head occurring.

He observes Ferret's reaction for a moment before standing up watching the rest of the ANBU pile into the room "Listen up! I'll be absent for a time and during that time you take orders from the Hokage, This squad has no Captain and answers directly too the Hokage just too make it clear...that's the only time I'll be saying this." He says a smile spreading across his face "Ferret, keep your head....I don't want you having too go on the same trip I'm gonna" He says with a pointed look towards the young ANBU before disappearing in a swirl...leaving the Kitsune mask behind a Heavens Sorrow Ninjato being dropped at Navi's feet as the inactive Captain swirls away.

[OOC: Talked about it with Viper and got it cleared up, the Azaiyo thing was metagaming (I never revealed my identity) and I proved that Kochou godmodded to escape TandI (I never let her our of the cell). I haven't disobeyed orders sir! XDDD]

Navi smiled from underneath his mask, detecting Echo's sly joke about his incredible speed. He was getting a reputation as being the fastest ninja in the Leaf Village, and was looking at getting a promotion soon. However, Navi was still a tad inexperienced and would probably need to prove himself to Echo personally before being given a white cloak and bumped up to captain.

"Listen up! I'll be absent for a time and during that time you take orders from the Hokage, This squad has no Captain and answers directly too the Hokage just too make it clear...that's the only time I'll be saying this." Navi stood up from his kneeling position and crouched down to pick up the ninjato as Echo swirled away. "Ferret, keep your head....I don't want you having too go on the same trip I'm gonna" I wonder what he meant by that... Navi thought to himself.

Navi played with the hilt of the ninjato a little before realizing that Echo had just gifted him the original Heaven's Sorrow blade, a famous sword made legendary by Echo himself. Navi cautiously held onto it, still contemplating what Echo had said before. After a few moments he left the room, vanishing in a puff of smoke and returning to his duties at the border.
