The tale of Echo the Invincible[Private, Family]

"I slept okay, cousin. Um and you?" Prim asked smiling at Viper as she returned the hug. Prim felt bad for Akina, she seemed, out of sorts. She was about to Ask Akina if she was okay or wanted help with anything but she turned and looked at Echo as he began to speak. Something felt off about what Echo was saying. Once again she looked from Echo to Viper kind of concerned. The way he said, today is the day. "What is he talking about?" She asked looking from Echo to Viper.

Viper stops, Echo's words flow through his mind, he looks as if he is frozen in his seat, his eyes slowly slowly close and what was one a smile turns to a more stoic expression, he knew this was going to happen but he never expected it to be today, how cruel fate is, probably this is just how the universe works, trade one good day, for one bad day. Viper sighs a bit, his right arm extends curling at the elbow as his chin rests in his palm.
"You had to do it while I was actually having a good day?" Viper rolls his eyes a tad, "Go ahead and tell them then so you can ruin everyone elses morning." Viper makes an attempt at guilting, mostly to fuck with him for ruining his good mood.

Akina grumpily sipped at her tea. A flash of chakra got her attention, sort of...she just glared at Echo. After listening to Viper, she laughs a little. "He already ruined my morning I'm awake without food and that's after tidying up around here." She laughed slightly at her own joke. It seemed the tea was keeping her awake for now. She leaned her head on her cheek and smiled at Echo.

It should have been enough to let him know that she was trying to joke with him.

Echo sighs, a flash of the Kyuubi's chakra appearing at his Brother's words a growl slipping from him before he reigns himself in.

He begins speaking "I'm leaving Konoha this afternoon..." he speaks his eyes behind his goggles gauging their reactions before he continues "I've got some things to do, things only I can do, and I don't know when I'll return." He says

"W-what? Why are you leaving? Y-You can't leave." Prim said starting to get a little teary eyed. She cared about her family members and regardless of them always having been her cousins, she had always looked at Viper and Echo as her brothers. She cared deeply about them. Prim fought back the tears, she refused to cry in front of them. "if you do leave you have to come back Echo!" Prim added still choking back tears.

Viper remains silent, he watches both of their reactions, Prim being more emotion that Akina, but it was as anticipated, which is why he told him he will not be handling the goodbyes.
Viper simply watches and waits for the drama to proceed, his good mood for the most part ruined as he does not really feel anything at this point, his brother is leaving sooner than he planned, he never even got to train with him because he was out late with Akina.
Viper can not say he is not sad to see him go, they have always been together ever since they were little, it has always been the three of them, with Koroshi gone, and Echo now leaving, he will be the last of them.
Viper lets out a soft sigh at these thoughts closing his eyes softly hiding his emotions and feelings.

Akina sighed heavily. She was more awake now that warm tea filled her stomach. She watched Viper and Prim carefully before she spoke. The tension in the air was thick, even if the Hokage was hiding his feelings. She looked at Viper with some concern.

"I'm honestly a little jealous of you, Echo." There was a broad smirk on her face. "I want to travel too, someday..." She tried to give Viper a reassuring look. "But, I think we all understand that what you have to do will probably make you a better person in the end." Silver eyes looked at everyone. "So, let's all try to make this a good day for Echo's sake, okay? Sure, we'll miss him...and he might miss us," she cast a big smile in Echo's direction, "but, we are family, right? And family will always be able to come back together and reminisce and make better memories."

Echo glances between the three sitting before him, Viper may have been a master of deception but Echo himself was a con artist for years on top of being a Shinobi for the ANBU Black-ops, he could tell his Brother was saddened by his departure, Prim was easy considering how she cried and made the proclamation, he frowns for a moment before Akina speaks.

Echo listens to her words and visibly stiffens a wide grin spreading across his face as he shuts his eyes behind his goggles, loving the fact that they block vie of his eyes lest they see the unshed tears gathering...course Echo was a man...so he does not shed them, there just there so it's not technically crying!

Echo's right hand goes to the back of his neck sheepishly "Yeah.." he says in slight resignation.

Primrose sighed deeply. She would really miss Echo but Akina had a point, they are all family and they should be supportive of one another. "You will come back, right?" Prim asked trying to be supportive but hoping she would see Echo again. It felt like she was losing someone close to her forever, even though he would be back. "Promise you will come back?" Prim added a second question in hopes at least she would hear an answer she wanted.

Viper's right hand slides forward, his head supporting himself, his hand now gripping in to a partial fist his index pointing forwards right at Echo after Prim's words.
"He will come back, or I will track his ass down. Now, while you are gone you are on Hokage orders to bring all of us gifts from every place you visit, understand?" Viper forces a smirk, his palm now resting upon the table as he looks at Prim trying to calm down, his left hand extends outwards punching her in the shoulder, "Man up damn it, your an Uchiha you do not cry!" Viper teases hoping to lighten her mood.
Akina's words make him smile seeing as she considers herself part of the family, his slight love drunk mood on the verge of returning should the situation not be filled with tension and the fact his brother was about to depart for who knows how long.
