Saving a Life [PRIVATE, Invite Only]
Sat Oct 06, 2012 10:22 am
[Posting Order: Azaiyo, Taro, Viper, Nero, Raito, Zero, Damballa, Sachiko]
Azaiyo would arrive at the hospital with outrageous speed as curtains would fall from other rooms, exposing other injured shinobi as Azaiyo would rush into a private room himself. He knew others would come and support him as he would rest the remaining corpse on the bed. The fact that this girl was still living would be miraculous. Azaiyo could remember the moment he had at least spared her from completely losing her life as he and his student had pushed her far enough with their weaponry to her right side, having the explosion manage to only take half of her body. An explosion like this would completely obstruct her vision and cause great brain damage as Azaiyo had to act quickly. He had no knowledge in medical ninjutsu as he would need help immediately. He would shout at medics all around as he would quickly write a letter:
Dear Citizens of the Fire Nation,
There is a shinobi from the Hidden Leaf known as Sachiko that is barely living as of this moment in the hospital of Sunagakure no Sato. As citizens of the Fire Nation, we cannot rest and allow one of our own shinobi to die with no support. Bear with me as this is an opportunity for any of you to save a life. All I need is someone who is capable of doing so, ANYONE AT ALL!
Azaiyo's hands and wrists would be numb as his desperate feelings were clearly shown. He would release the Messenger Hawk from his cloak as he would have it fly at top speed throughout the nation, only praying that someone would receive it soon enough. "Stay with me!" Azaiyo cried as multiple medics would try and keep her living for at least a minute more during each of their procedures. Time was surely of the essence.

Taro had been on the road to Sunagakure for about three days now- his original goal, upon setting out on this small journey, had been to go thank the man named Azaiyo who had helped guide Taro back onto the right path. Had it not been for that man Taro was pretty sure he would be strung up somewhere for being a missing ninja like so many before him. He had just left a small oasis in the dune sea of the land of wind where he had stayed the night. The oasis itself was not far off from Sunagakure, if he kept the same modest pace he had been going at the entire trip then he would reach the village before nightfall, but Taro was stopped short by the clarion call of a hawk circling overhead.
Halting his slow march across the desert Taro set out his right arm and allowed the quickly descending hawk to perch on his arm. The bird’s talons dug into his arm, but it was of little consequence as taro saw that there was a message attached to it. He warily eyed the bird’s beak as he grabbed the message and read it over. The writing looked strikingly familiar, but he could not place exactly where he had seen it until after a few short seconds it all clicked. He had seen the writing before on a scroll that would have allowed him into Sunagakure-this was the writing of Azaiyo the deputy Kazekage of the village hidden in the sand and he needed help.
Taro felt that he owed this man at least this much. Though Taro did not really have any skills whatsoever in medical jutsu he did recall that the cells of the Senju had certain medicinal properties so maybe that could help in some way, of course the extent of the injured shinobi’s wounds had not been mentioned, but how bad could they be? Rolling the message back up Taro put it back on the hawk and sent the hawk off so it could deliver its message to other people who may be of greater help than himself. With the hawk high in the sky now Taro gave new meaning to his old pace by now moving at his fastest pace possible to reach the hospital.
His eyes glazed over as his mind drifted elsewhere, but still his legs moved as if part of a machine driven by something other than human will, because in fact it was human instinct. Taro’s feet moved effortless across the sand. Luckily the weather was good and there was not a sandstorm in sight, which allowed Taro to see exactly where he was headed. Finally after a while Taro arrived at the hospital of Sunagakure winded from his dash to the hospital. Upon talking to a doctor he was directed to what seemed to be a trauma room. Opening the door Taro’s senses were bombarded with stimulants: he could smell the irony smell of blood, see the dismembered body of what looked like a little girl on the operating table, hear the hushed talking of the doctors that surrounded the girl. Taro wanted to barf as it looked like the girl had been in some kind of a war zone. Thankfully. he also spotted a familiar face: Azaiyo. “Hey, so what’s happening and how can I help?” While waiting for a response Taro looked over the doctor’s shoulders the girl’s whole right side seemed to have exploded; he would have to ask about that later, but all he cared about right now was in some way assisting Azaiyo-the person, who in a way, had made Taro who he was today.

It is in Konohagakure no Sato the bird makes its next stop, the creature swooping in through an open window in the office of the Hokage, Viper Kamu Uchiha.
Having just taken care of many affairs Viper looks towards the bird as it lands upon his desk, with care he opens the container and views the parchment inside, looking over it for a bit.
With a sigh of slight annoyance Viper rolls up the letter and slides it back within the birds container and sends it on its way.
As if he did not have enough to handle, now one of his ninja is injured, but why is she in Sunagakure no Sato? For but a moment Viper thinks about leaving her be as a punishment for leaving home alone, that thought is quickly dismissed with an annoyed "ulgh".
Viper thinks over what medical treatments he has, only one recently has been discovered that could of been of any help, the Senju tree he is growing in secret, but is this the right time to reveal the existence to the world?
Viper sighs, with a swirl his form transcends realities, and then back to his hidden area, his garb changed to that of his full war attire in case anything should happen, or should this be a trap, with Viper being the leader of now a world wide nation there has been many attempts on his life as of late.
Going to the base of his tree he views a twisted branch, a white "Clump" of "Flesh" is growing, this being the beginning state of his living senju clones, five others are hanging by what looks to be a stem near by, each bearing a resemblance to Viper opposed to a pure white form, being raw Senju dna.
Viper walks up the tree passing the replica of his form with multiple arms, he reaches the first noted mass as he grips it with his right hand as it has more of a large ball like shape, pulling gently it is removed from the branch, with a swirl it is gone being stored away for a future purpose.
The next action that follows being Viper's travel to Sunagakure no Sato, having been through Sunagakure no Sato before during his meeting with the Kazekage the area is well known to his Space-Time Migration.
Viper slowly fades through his swirling patterns, his form with a little over a second appears in the hallway of the hospital, with still with his serious expression asks for the room number, once obtained enters the room slowly.
He views the scene within, truly a gruesome sight, those with weaker stomachs, or those without being used to such things most defiantly would of lost it simply by the smell which Viper ignores.
His head turns to find Azaiyo, and one of his newer ninja, Taro Senju, Viper speaks. "Azaiyo, what happened to my ninja?" That is but the only question Viper has, his head turns towards the girl, tear stains are visible upon the bed, his eyes take on a deep shade of crimson with the original three designs, his eyes surveying the damage in greater detail, it will take a miracle to save this girl, luckily Viper might just have such a miracle due to his experimentation.

Nero entered the hospital... He has been running with all he had to get there, as he realised he was a little late as it seemed there were 2 other Konoha shinobi already. He ran at Azaiyo, he wanted explanation. As he reached him, he went near his ear and whispered at him, he didn't have the energy to talk properly, both because hewas shocked after seeing Sachiko in that situation, and because he ran ot the hospital for a long time. "What happened ? Who are those two ?" asked Nero as he then sat on a chair nearby...

Raito arrived at the hospital with blue chakra around him and wings, Raito took a bit of a detour before he went to the hospital, when he got there he saw the Hokage and another person who looked like a leaf shinobi, he then walked up to the Hokage and bowed, "Lord Hokage..I expected you to be here but I never expected you to be here at this time.." said Raito as he stood up straight once again and began walking towards the closest chair and made his way towards it and then sat down and waited to see what they were going to do.

Umarekuru arrived last at the hospital, despite him taking the shortcut to the hospital. When he arrived he immediately knew where to go due to the strong smell of blood and doctors constantly rushing in and out. He walked into the room and noticed that Azaiyo and the others were here, but their was also two others, people he hasn't seen before." Azaiyo are these people going to be able to save her, They will be able to save her right,"He said with a small startled voice. He looked at the other two men that were standing near azaiyo, they looked like leaf shinobi but one of them scared him the most." I know this isn't the time for introduction, but my name is Umarekuru Hyuga, can you please save her," He said bowing to both of the unknown men hoping they could do something about her condition. As he waited for someone to say something he sat in one of the corners of the room, putting his hood on to cover his silver eyes so no one would see his face...

Damballa arrived at the hospital in a hurry, and was deathly afraid. "This girl could die!" Dambalal said. Damballa asked the nurse where Sachiko was being operated on, and Damballa looked to see in as they were about to work on her. Damballa felt sick, and awaited for the surgery to start.

Sweat poured down the little girl's face as she twitched sporadically every several minutes-- the only sign signifying life from the young genin's face, which was contorted in a grimace of complete and utter pain. Inside her mind, the little girl was dreaming of the first day she became a ninja and how excited she was. Except the examiner was dressed in a bannana suit and flew. The reason behind this, the unconsious Sachiko had no idea.

Nero, Raito, Unknown, Damballa;
All of you skipped even reading a letter or finding it, it is complete mettagaming for you to be here. Please pay attention in the future because technically this entire topic could of been massively void by all of you leaving out how you know where to go, and why.]

[OOC: Viper is right. Although two of you come from the village, the letter was the reasoning that this topic was made. It was the invitation. Zero could have been excluded from the list of people that Viper stated, but only if he were to follow his post with the spar topic, acknowledging that he knew where the hospital was. However, thank you Viper for allowing us to proceed with this topic.]
Azaiyo would hear constant signs of running and adrenaline rushes as his miserable face had become blank, only to notice a pile of shinobi coming into the same room as him as he was still holding onto the same hand as before. "Hmm...it looks like my letter went through after all..." Azaiyo smiled briefly, letting go of Sachiko's hand and standing up The first one to arrive would be a very memorable face from the deserts of Sunagakure no Sato, the most unique man Azaiyo had met as of this day. "Taro, what an honor it is to see you here...at least like this. I am very impressed. You managed to recover greatly from your past and give yourself new life. I am proud." The brief smile would come back as it would rest itself for a while. "Anyways..." Azaiyo continued, "...as you see this lady, she is half-dead. The doctors have told me their conclusion. It will take a miracle to save this girl. Half her body is blown off, every sign of mentality she had vanished, and the doctors are now in a state where they can only keep her alive for another hour...nothing more. A solution to fix this would almost be like giving her a new body...is that even possible" Azaiyo could tell he was rushing himself, but it was worth it. He needed to find an answer right away.
The next visitor would come as Azaiyo would be even more surprised to see his presence than Taro's. "Viper?" Azaiyo asked, "You came? Huh...it seems like Konoha is a village of great defense, even without its Hokage." Azaiyo would look at the girl once again as Viper would be very strict in asking him what had exactly happened to his ninja. "She nearly killed herself in a spar..." Azaiyo mumbled, "She wasn't thinking as she tied herself with wire, and shuriken equipped with explosive tags. One of my students and I managed to cut the wires apart, but it was impossible in her state to be saved completely. Half of the explosives tied to her went off due to the cutting of the wires as she was blown away, half of her body being torn apart by the massive explosion. We must find a way to save her, for she only has short time before facing a death she created. Like I said to Taro, it would take a miracle to save her." Azaiyo could not bear having to tell this story more than once to visitors. Unfortunately, more had come.
The two others whom Azaiyo had also sparred against had officially arrived. One seemed emotionless as he just spectated before sitting down. The other would almost be like him. Small questions had been asked on behalf of the two as Azaiyo would answer them more briefly than the other two of which he had already stated. The one known as Nero would whisper into his ear as he would reply. "We saw it for ourselves. Damballa and I managed to cut the wires before they detonated on top of Sachiko, ending up in taking out only half of her body instead of the entire vessel. However, the chances of saving her now are extremely low. The poor girl probably thinks she's dead already as we watch her." Azaiyo now thought of the last two who were at that spar, his two students as he heard more foot steps.
One name was unknown to him even as the Deputy Kazekage while the other would be the one that had assisted him in saving Sachiko. Azaiyo would be somewhat relieved as they had spoken for themselves, but then be struck with pain as they had reminded him of the possible results. To the first, Azaiyo would simply respond, "Yes, she will be saved. I promise." Damballa, whom Azaiyo thought would be the most caring one would actually be the most bothersome as he had ran in the room, frightened. "You're not helping us!" Azaiyo shouted, "She is still going to live! You hear me?!" Azaiyo was ready to choke his own student, but calmed himself down as he would look upon everyone, including the unconscious Sachiko. "Like I said, she is going to live. We are shinobi, and proud ones at that. Failure is not an option. Sachiko will live...we have a way...we just need to find it..." With this, Azaiyo would conclude as he would invite everyone to proceed to Sachiko, hopefully beginning the process of saving her life.
