A new friend. [Demetri, Echo(as someone else)]

Demetri walked along in the forest to find a clear spot to train when he found one he slid on the Gloves filled with iron sand and started to shadow box. After about five minutes he sat down and drank some water from a canteen before laying down and closing his eyes thinking of the exam he had under taking just the day beofre and how scared he was at the time and laughed a little bit. Demetri opened his eyes and looked at the sky watching the clouds and felt that today would be a good day. He thought of how he had gained a little muscle and his short hiar was now neck length his eyes still the blue that he loved and he stood at an average hieght, he seemed to look like his father each day excluding his eyes he had his mothers eyes and was proud of thathe didnt want his fathers black emotionless eys.

Opening the door to his home to exit is a red headed boy of thirteen years of age, his deep piercing blues eyes are trained on an open book held in his left hand, a bandage covers his left cheek a fight having taken place earlier in the week.

His attire consists of black Shinobi pants a green undershirt, and over it a black hoody jacket the Uzumaki clan symbol embroidered on the back proudly, a Kama with a chain strapped to the bottom is holstered on his left hip.

His Shinobi sandals shuffle silently against the ground of the Uzumaki compound as he slowly makes his way towards the forest...to read his new book 'Tale of the Scarlet warriors, the Uzumaki clan history' in peace.

Such a simple thing made hard through the constant reminders of his clans destruction, and the strange state of his village....defending Konoha...that's what his Mother said to do before she passed the wave slamming the beam down and snapping her spine in two..right before his eyes.

He sighs deciding to return his mind to his books...it's the only thing that can banish the sight of his Mother's broken body anymore...well....besides punching in someones nose.

Demtetri stood up and started to stretch bending down to touch his toes and bending over backwards to pop his back. He was dressed in his ussual clothes a black shirt, and blue pants his kunai holster on his right leg and his katana was on his back the hilt going towards his right ear as he saw a boy who looked about his age walking and reading a book. Demetri thought he should see what the boy was doing, "Hey, my name is Demetri how are you?" he asked waving at the boy. Demetri was only ten years old but felt like he could like this boy as he looked at his clothes and saw that he had the Uzumaki clan symbol on his jacket.

Arashi notes his position and that a boy is calling out to him from twenty feet away, he contemplates ignoring him in favor of his book....course that ain't gonna happen...he'd come over.

Sighing he turns his head upwards giving the boy a nod before he returns to his book, answering with a simple "Fine." he states wandering towards a tree line where he could sit and read another five feet from the boy standing before him.

Another Genin maybe..? Nah, don't matter...this book is quite entertaining though, he's glad most of his clan's library survived...he doesn't know how he'd cope otherwise...

He shakes those thoughts from his head returning his concentration to his book, he's not in the mood for anything after his humiliating defeat in Ichiraku's...and being banned from the establishment was also quite the blow...how is he supposed to get his daily Ramen fix now...?

Demerti nodded as the boy replied to him and continued to stretch his arms then his legs looking over at the boy he could make out the book he was reading, it was the history of his clan. He thought of how the boy must feel reading this but shook it off in favor for training.
Leaning down and starting to do push ups an idea hit him and he stood up.

He thought the boy looked interested in his book but the worst he could say was no, he thought as he walked closer to the boy."Would you like to spar?" he asked the boy with a smile on his face. He hoped he would say yes but would under stand if he declined to read the book instead.

The Uzumaki heir, briefly notes the footsteps walking towards him and hears the question, he glances up giving the boy a piercing gaze with his deep icy pools of blue, he hums in thought staring at the boy for a moment before his book is snapped shut in his left hand and pocketed.

A smirk slides across the Uzumaki's slightly lazy looking face as he answers "Any restrictions..?" He asks calmly walking over to a branch which he pries off..it has the basic shape of his Kama, he doesn't trust himself not to kill the boy on accident, he's not skilled enough with bladed weapons for that.

Shuffling his feet slightly he flexes out his chakra letting it flow throughout his system and tenketsu rather then being hidden like before, his position staying at his position as his right foot slides back slightly his knee's bent slightly as his left foot remains forward his body facing sideways his left hand coming up to his face while his right stays at his side in a loose Uzumaki style taijutsu stance.

"No killing thats my only restricrtion." Demetri replied, while choosing a limb that was about the same length as his katana, to the boys question as he too got into a fighting a cross between boxing and kung-fu, He held his right arm at his chest while his left arm stuck out and both were loosely held, his right leg went behind his left slightly and bent his knees slightly. He then turned so the left side of his body was facing more of the boy instead of his chest and awaited the boys move, remembering what Sanji had taught him " Go with the flow." rang thourgh out his whole body and mind.

The Uzumaki watches the boy's movements with his piercing gaze the red hair making his icy blue pools stand out even more the stick-kama strapped to his side next to his original as his left foot suddenly pushes backwards his right foot now braced as he leaps backwards forming the ram seal as his hands join together, the dew of the grass and the moisture of the tree's coming together to form...Mist.

A chakra enhanced mist that allows nothing but a foot of vision for anyone caught inside...

A slight crunch of leaves and a thump at the opponents right ten feet from where he stood if he didn't move alert a presence before a whoosh of air occurs.

The Uzumaki if completing his technique quickly rushed away rebounding from a tree using his chain to attach to a large branch to flank the boy, his feet landing upon a bushel of leaves cause him to abandon that plan as his braced legs immediately dash up a tree the positions of the tree's and leaves memorized...this is near his clan compound after all, he's been here many times in the past to read.

Demetri saw the boy form a hand sign and dashed backwards,forming the hand signs for a clone, and funneled chakra into his feet as he ran up the tree jumping from limb to limb silently as he could manage as the mist began to form and listened for any sound of movement hoping the boy would try to hit him where he was standing at, but he would instead hit a clone and he would strike then in hopes that the mist would dissapear when the user was struck. It appeared that the uzumaki boy had the advantage of the forest for now.

[sorry for the short post lol im still trying to find my style of fighting i guess]

[The clone technique is merely an illusion that mirrors your movements they can't move by themselves, just pointing that out for future reference.]

Striking outwards with his right hand towards where he knows several vantage points are the hook of his chain embeds itself into a branch seven feet above where the other boy stands at the ready, retracting the chain he is pulled forward at a high speed towards the tree channeling chakra to his feet already he prepares himself as he disperses the chain and his feet impact the three braced and tensed ready for a jump as he moves into the boys vision a smirk on his face the thump against the bark would of course alert his presence a plan to win already forming into the heir's head as he awaits the boy to do something about his presence now standing sideways in a braced stance in the now mist covered area.
